Who knew the intended adopter died unexpectedly when the egg became a child.

The chance to be a mother to her daughter was in front of her, but she couldn’t grab because she did not have the certificate

This novel focuses on different sides human nature. I feel like the title is very fitting. It explores the different sides of parenthood, child psychology and PTSD.

After reading this novel I really learned a lot about parenthood. The author uses the job of a social worker to demonstrate that not everyone is qualified to be a parent. Most of the time, we don't think about whether someone is qualified to be a parent because who would choose to have a child when they can barely support themselves right? So we... more>> assume those who have children must have a stable life and love kids, but is that really true?

The parental qualification certificate in the book is a way of testing the parents' stress limits and ensures that no matter how hard life is, they won't direct it to their children. I feel like this concept is a really good idea because children's minds are fragile and easily influenced. The people they trust the most are their parents, but when parents don't love them and instead think of them as burdens, their worldview changes. As the author showed in the book, sometimes ab*se doesn't have to be physical. Physical ab*se is the most used type of example in the novel, but I feel like the author should have focused more on verbal ab*se. Sometimes the hardest things to heal from are mental wounds, not physical. And once your trust is betrayed by the people you trusted the most in this world, you can't trust anyone else in an effort to protect yourself.

The author mostly talks about differing severity levels of PTSD, which I'm assuming encompasses all types of mental diseases in the future like depression, suicidal ideation, emotional detachment etc. <<less

It's good, the description really does not do this justice. I kept putting off this novel because I didn't want to read what I thought would be a romance with some childcare + struggle with mental health scenes, but I was craving for an interestellar novel really bad and couldn't find anything else. Anyway, the novel didn't end up being that, it just surpassed my expectations.

What first made me excited was when... more>>

she started working as a social worker, helping children escape from bad home situations. The stories were interesting, I wished it kept going with her solving cases and all that. However... that came to an end, and I hate it when stuff like that happens, but here it was done so well I liked the newer twist.

I just think it was really well done, the characters are great, it's a perfect story to read in a day or two. Sometimes I'm craving for dog blood tr*shy novels, then I read high quality novels like this that don't make me feel as if I've lost my time and make me wish all novels were like this. Anyone that rated this 3 and lower, I have to disagree with you. Only one part was weird with how the ML chased the FL but I guess the FL was fine with it, I just personally don't like insistent men the most, BUT FL knew how to establish her boundaries with persistent men she did not like, so I guess it depends. Anyway, that really is my only complaint. This novel could've taken a different path and it would still be interesting, and that's what I thought would keep happening for the first 90 something chapters. But the path it ended up taking was just as entertaining and well done as the other idea I had of the novel. I was so confused, but it wasn't the author trying to cut it short, it's just what the author had planned, and had planned well. I don't know, maybe I'm just used to LN authors coming up with whatever to keep the story going and to end it, but the pacing of the story impressed me tbh. Well, it's in the tags, I hadn't read the tags until now, that can give you an idea of what's to come. <<less

This is really good. A little bit sweet and spicy. Some scenes were a bit stimulating for me, but I had fun reading it. Somehow, I felt that it was short, since I want to see MC work some more.

Thank you for translating this beautiful, dark and sweet novel.

This novel is a great read and hears why,

The author made the characters relatable.

The author gave a realist perspective on the stigma of mental illnesses.

The emotions in this book were real.

The main couple showed character growth so did the side characters.

World building by the author was very detailed. Only a small amount of plot holes.

It gave in site on social workers and psychologists

The children acted like children. And adults like adults.

Overall the novel is great and there was no room for dissatisfaction.

This book is very beautiful and it makes you think about human nature, it paints a picture of light and darkness in humanity and it's quite a brain teaser. It made me cry a lot and made my heart hurt.

It's a very good read, although it might not be good for sensitive people, but the way it ends happily and how mental illnesses was represented strongly as it is, an illness, and how there is strong hope to overcome it through the help of others and yourself, was really really... more>> good. I loved it. <<less

I feel like nothing too exciting or too boring happen in this novel. Maybe because I see all the high review and place too much expectations. The romance is not the focus of the story. Decent read if you're bored, because the story is not too long.

But I applaude author for daring to raise the topic about psychological trauma, parenting, and children's right in their novel. I wanna give this 3.5 but we can't give decimal score in this, so 4 it is.

I usually wouldn't read this kind of novel, but I found it interesting enough to finish.

I like that you are asked to consider parenthood in different ways and think about the place of society/social workers in the relationship between parent and child and how those children are the basis of our society in the first place.

I don't agree with some of the conclusions in this, but it is worth considering and the writing isn't half bad.

Translation is done very well. And about the story, yes it's very good, with 3 d characters and ML and FL don't fall in love instantaneously. The side characters have complete personalities. It's good I guess if you want to go for a leisure read. And it's focus is on human psychology. And how accurate it is in context to real life, I can't be too sure on that. So better take it as fictional thing.

this is amazing

I like how our MC is strong and smart, she played a keen and decisive detective like role. Our ML is nice, sweet, not overbearing and definitely HAS RESPECT for our MC,

I didn't expect to find a really good psychological sci-fi josei novel with such an interesting premise like this, but I'm glad this existed.

Uh, it's true. It's actually not a fluffy story. The romance is subplot and mostly focuses on the journey of the MC to help the children and herself.

And it was truly amazing.

This is beautiful. Beautiful and simply amazing. The wold building is great. The connection of each situation is definitely a great plot.

This novel really focuses on teaching people that not all people are ready to be parents. And with that, the consequences and pain that the child will suffer. So before thinking of having a child, make sure that... more>> you are truly ready to love him or her wholeheartedly, without any conditions and that you can support the child in all aspects.

I got conflicted with the last villain.

Spoiler

I actually got "Stockholmed Syndrome". He was too pitiful. And he knew about himself but he couldn't help it. His past and his genuine struggle to keep the earth "clean" is really so...i wished at least he could have had a good memory before he left. Although, maybe the "I love you" part was a good memory before he died.

And I stand by ML, I think the villain let himself get caught because before that he showed some signs to MC that she was going home with the little dove. I really feel sorry for him but killing is still bad. So appropriate punishment should be done.

[collapse]

This is truly a great novel. Thank you so much for the translation! <<less

The story is really good, the way they talk about psychology and psychiatry is interesting and the cases of children and the consequences of bad child-rearing are quite realistic which makes the novel really good.

The romance is quite subtle but it is sweet and ML and FL compliment each other nicely. However, I also wanted more interaction and romance between them.

Downside: only MTL

Excellent story! The MC is a strong woman who overcame childhood trauma and went on to help others as a social worker. I appreciate the way the author handled the MC's mental illness and allowed her to grow over the course of the novel.
