Alright, I haven't read the novel, but I've read the manhua (translated in the webcomics app) and it was mindblowing.

You don't know what's real and what's not and it's terrifying but intriguing.

I'm gonna go read the novel now!

Definitely give it a try!

i was like an infant to this world of manhuas and through this, I came to find out that I preferred yamderes. Well, you know the drill I kept waiting for it everyweek and after some time of not checking, during the later parts, I read the new chapters and came across the ending. I was on a speechless scale of disturbed when I didn't even dare to check the next chapter after the revelation...

This was an enjoyable ride, though I understand that it may not be to everyone's taste, it's still a masterpiece nonetheless, I think that you really should give it a chance. What I want to insist on is, really, don't give up the novel halfway, even if the characters and story seem twisted, even if you may at times be disgusted, even if the characters seem sometimes unredeemable, even if it's just for your curiousity as to what the ending will be, just keep on reading till the end, you... more>> won't regret it. This author, their particularity seems to be that they unfold and finally expose the final whole blunt, heartbreaking, and shoking truth in the few last chapters of the story, whilst giving some bewildering hints that you can't make sense of in the middle of the story. So, read it till the end, really, the mtl is really umderstandable and easy enough to understand. This is a novel never to be forgotten, a masterpiece, a chef d'oeuvre. I couldn't reccomend it enough. <<less

This is a must-read. (I see that the translation has been paused? I recommend finishing this in raws if you can).

Important points: Open ending. Mind the “Tragedy" tag. Quite a bit of mu*der. Not light-hearted. There is s*x but definitely not smut-focused. No one is who they seem to be. If you think the ML is nuts wait until you get to know the MC.

Not only is it short enough to binge read in one night, but it is also definitely 100% worth your time. Because I don't want to... more>> write any spoilers, the only thing that I can say is that the ending is very unexpected. If you read closely, there are definitely clues hinting to the end. But I was caught up in the pace of the story and didn't really pause to carefully consider anything much. Yet in the end when the plot twist happened, I kind of got the feeling of "Oh, it makes sense now." Many of what I thought were "plot holes" or unrealistic plot points turned out to have been carefully-placed and well-planned foreshadowing. The ending objectively counts as an open ending. I'll just say that I cried a lot. A lot. I was really about to give this novel 4 stars until the very end because while it was thrilling and well-written and the whole killing/psychological aspect kept me hooked, it wasn't really 5-star material. But when the ending hit, it hit f*cking hard and I literally cried until I felt nauseous. I didn't even know I could cry this f*cking much. I just felt so much for the ML and then so much for the MC and I'm going to put a spoiler here anyways

I've just read 'Monster' by this author and yet, you made me cry again.

The fact that in the end, it was all like a dream. For me, that made me put into shock, and disbelief to bursting out tears of wanting to scream for them. Because I had been into this kind of situation. Obviously, I have read these types of plot before. Regardless, I just couldn't help but cry for them.

Although not as exaggerated like the MC, but when the realization that everything was a lie. I felt like... more>> I was seeing past myself. Thankfully, someone reached out to me before I ended up becoming like MC.

I hope MC in the next life would get himself a decent loyal partner who loves him for a lifetime.

Edit: Sh*t, I just realized that this novel had a manhua. I can't believe that I actually read this before, in the manhua version. So maybe that's why I felt this novel somewhat familiar... Now, this just makes me sadder knowing that he killed himself after ML left in the manhua ver. <<less

Although I haven't read the whole novel yet but from what I can tell it's the same as the manhua version.. Well I really have mixed feelings about it and I love-hate it both.. It's clearly too cute when they're together

[but when reality comes out I wanted to smash someone!! In the manhua it went on towards the BADEnding.. But I still have hope for this since this has open ending..]

OMG!!!!!! I have mixed feelings for this, but this is one of the best plot out there. I think I can't bear to handle the pain again, but I know the translator is really good.

I feel conflicted between ML 1 and ML 2 (they are just one person. This is a 1v1 story). The 'real' ML is like the ML in my recently finished reading Agreement for Being Gay in 30 Days. I mean, their contradicting feelings of liking a girl, then a guy. But, it's the opposite way for this story's ML.

Oh wow, so I didn't know there was a novel version of this, but I've read the manhwa and it really was interesting. All I can say, is get ready for your heart to get twisted over the angst and I think the ending was a great decision personally.
