After obtaining the “Craftsman System,” puppet maker Qi Chao transmigrates into a top-tier handsome and wealthy man.

The handsome and wealthy man is rich and powerful, and he looks extremely handsome, he looks like a gentleman on the outside, but he was pe*vert in private.

He harbors fantasies for the one-meter tall, slender and beautiful puppet, Lan Luo, at home!

Qi Chao, who dotes on puppets as if they were his children:

Bah, disgusting! Don’t let me catch you, or I’ll beat you on sight!

From then on, Qi Chao becomes addicted to the joyful life of raising and making puppets every day.

Until one day, he met a puppet maker with fair-skinned, beautiful face, and long-legs.

Not only is the puppet maker beautiful, but he also personally crafted Qi Chao’s beloved puppet, Lan Luo!

Qi Chao: He’s the puppet maker who can create such obedient children like Lan Luo! He must be a gentle and considerate angel!!!

Later on, Qi Chao and his beloved husband opened a puppet shop in Blue Star, which became famous worldwide.

“Puppet Notes” is a horror novel.

The novel is horror throughout, with a mind-bending plot. All the puppets in the book seem delicate, exquisite, and beautiful, but they are actually weapons with great lethality.

The transmigrators finally break through the encirclement of dozens of puppets and escape from the illusion.

The next moment, they unexpectedly saw the cannon fodder rich man who should have been killed by the puppets long ago!

What’s even more surprising is that the demonic puppets chasing them all stop and call the handsome and rich man “dad”!

Each one was obedient!

Even the biggest villain in the book leaned against the handsome and rich man’s chest, his blue eyes were as gentle as water.

Transmigrators: … Don’t ask, if you ask, it’s because we want to acknowledge him as our father.

Qi Chao: “??”

Why did all his kids run out?

Didn’t he and the children’s father just go to the supermarket to buy eggs?

Spoiler

One thing about being understanding and being kind is that even if that person knew you were pretending or being sarcastic or being mean, they'll still be understanding and be kind. Because that's who they are.

MC is the most gentle and strongest dad. It's a thing in sociology called labeling. Most people labeled the puppets as evil because of the og novel that's why they are scared but MC didn't. He believed that they were just kids who need guidance. And that made a whole lot of difference.

The story is totally cute. I love how the story progressed especially when MC changed the fate step by step.

I actually have a mixed feeling after reading the dolls can work and be a congressman. And then about the policy to limit puppet maker, they can't sell dolls except if the dolls want to be adopted. It looks to good to be true when the alliance said they will subsidied puppet maker allowance. I realize all of this impossible to happen if we don't have MC. Long live our lovable... more>> MC. <<less

I would put this more as a 3.7. It's not bad, but there are parts where it was a bit more underwhelming. I liked the beginning, but near the end middle end it went downhill for me.

Spoiler

The villain's IQ went down, the MC especially has unreasonable tinted glasses for the ones he care about to the point of being dense or slow, and some parts were too quick or didn't get enough focus. I understand the kids are cute, but with the way MC pampers and spoils them it seems like they don't grow (even though he's teaching them to be their own person). They don't have much hardship after MC comes and the author doesn't elaborate on some of the puppet's abilities. The villain kept getting surprised by his own emotions multiple time and he took a back seat after achieving his goal becoming a secondary character. Suddenly became more understanding changing his character a bit and I don't think his motives were really explained as to why.

The plot and setting of the story is very interesting. It very unique and has a lot going for it.

I gave it 3 stars bc it was a little unevenly paced then I would like it to be.

He transmigrated into a book. But the story of that specific book is very lackluster. There were a few book specific events that feels very end game in the story but they happen very early in the story.

Spoiler

The villain of the book (ML) has a forest that he used to torture the protagonist. And the story supposedly goes follows the protagonist who ends up in the forest after investigations and destroys every one of the villains puppets but in the end gets killed by the villain. Which feels like story endgame.

But in the world with our transmigrated MC, the protagonist gets trapped in the forest at around 1/3 of the story and just stays there where the story then keeps slowly cutting back to them every other chapter without any progress on their side which makes it feel like such a drag.

The character of the MC and the relationship he has with other people is really frustrating too.

Spoiler

The MC is a really nice, gullible guy that thinks everyone, the villain, the puppets are all innocent and not at all violent. And it just frustrates me every time cause he is in this relationship with the villain for two years and just wholeheartedly trusts everything the villain does. This is fine and if anything it's a very healthy mindset but given the setting of the story and the whole book plot that the MC is not a part of just makes it not as interesting.

[collapse]

I think my main gripe is that I was expecting a power couple story with the two of them fighting against the book story with their op puppets, but I got a slice of life, puppet-kids raising story, while hearing about an action story that is happening to the villain on the side. <<less
