In his previous life Bai Lang was a small star. He rejected his boss and foolishly engaged in a relationship which he thought was true love.

After his rebirth, he decided to give up on true love. As for his boss… since he wants something then just let him have it.

So this little star after his rebirth collected his boss, and then it became a true love story with his boss.

In between there are good friends/love rivals/s*um men in the mix. A sweet story with a happy ending.

All I can say is that this is worth your time. I read this for the whole day and almost cried. It may not be a perfect love story, but I felt the affection between BL and QQ.

Lol how I wish there's more for QXH and RZ.

Such a heart warming history. MC is scheming for the sake of giving and having a better life, not for the sake of actually being a black bellied character. I really loved this.

I really enjoyed this. It's a short read, finished in 2 days. BUT it's really good.

Pros:

  • MC wasn't focused much on the revenge part, which was fresh for me
  • ML is not the overly possessive kind (he is a bit but MUCH better than in other novels)
  • ThErE is A CUTE SoN, fluffy and cute and all that other stuff
  • The translator did a great job
  • The last few words of the chapter almost made me want to cry (I was really happy for them, but upset it ended)
Cons: (?)

  • don't expect descriptive bed scenes. But I wouldn't call it a con, because the story was so nice I didn't really care
I would recommend and will re-read later. And again THANK YOU TO THE TRANSLATOR.

I loved this story. It's fairly short, so it cuts unnecessary cannon fodder that's there for the sake of being there, aka not really important to the plot.

The romance is quite sweet, and the transition towards love is quite subtle though rather fast, but because it's a rebirth, I guess to a certain degree it is understandable.

The ML is kinda OP but well, which male lead isn't? I like that the male lead is straightforward, knows what he wants and moves accordingly, there's no annoying s*upid misunderstanding, thank god.

I guess... more>> it lacks depth in the antagonists department, a major villain's background isn't really delved much when I think it can be explored more, but it doesn't really hinder the flow of the story.

Overall, it's a fun story, oh, also, salute to the translator/ translation group. It's super easy to read, great job! <<less

This. Is. So. Good! Though they started out as MC leeching money from ML but it was just at the start and MC never asked for more. BaiLang does things (like getting back/revenge) his own way with his own powers but since we have a very doting and possesive ML, who thinks BL's is way too softhearted he adds more punishment to the bad guys which I think is very cute. Plus, there is childcare and true family love. MC experienced things that he never get to experience during his... more>> past life and I think that's the greatest part of the story because MC is a very soft hearted and a good person.

Reading this story made me feel happy, sad, and at the same time made me learn that being too good of a person can actually result to ones downfall. In real life there probably won't be the same as MC's rebirth but from this we should really learn how to distinguish friends from foes. <<less

Amazing story and amazing translation ❤️ the story has great depth of characters and story flow. Childcare scenes are adorable and beautiful, absolutely perfect for tugging on my heart. The romance is good and is not stagnant, despite the lack of explicit bed scenes there was such emotion between interactions that I didn't miss it (despite me being a rotten rotten person). The trust and respect between all the main characters by the end is stunning. A good one to read among lots of rebirth stories!

I was sad but praising for MC & ML's personality. He's lonely but that what makes him to be mature and responsible. While ML still has the overbearing protective type, but he has different personality such as straightforward rude gangster if we see from how he grew up.

But that's why both of them is great for each other. Plus, ML's son makes the story cute!

The point is... I like this story for no drama because the character's personality.

What I really liked about this novel is its straightforwardness. There wasn't any unnecessary drama going on. And if there was they got resolved quickly. There was no back & forth, no „maybe I like him, maybe not", just straight to the point. Also, this novel doesn't focus on the revenge part but more on MC changing his life for the better. I would definitely recommend this if you're searching for a short, well paced novel without pointless drama.

This novel was absolutely amazing, you can feel the emotions of the main characets like its your own. Theres right amount of everything, every emotion is thrown at you, the end was so heartwarming this whole novel is a masterpeice. The MC is the best, hes such a strong minded guy. The ML is so nice too, he is possesive and rough but he cares so so deeply and loves... more>> Bai Ling very deeply. Both ML and MC love each other deeply, I cant even describe it in words how good the romance is. Im so sad that ive come to the end of this novel it was the best journey. <<less

The thing I like the most in this novel is the relationship between the main characters. They trust and understand each other. They do not try to control another and their interaction warm my heart. Also ml's son is so cute. He is really attached to MC. This really is a good read.
