the beginning of the story is interesting, the MCs are decent so I don't have much issue with the plot. However, as I kept reading I realised that I am more interested to read about the supporting characters than the mcs. The MCs especially FL are as plain as it can be, when mentioning them it is always about their display of affection. For ml, there are at least mentioning about how strong he is and how he handle some problems but the fl.... she is just there... exist as FL with strong FL halo and double golden finger

sometimes I don't understand why the ML love and cherish the FL very much. She is just average girl like most people. Yes, they might be soulmates but then what... ? They are mcs, can't the author makes them more interesting. The only thing that makes her FL is her psychic ability and her farm storage space where she handles it like any common people will do. There is no implication where she practice extra to become stronger and act on her own. All she do is follow the ML instructions

I like to read about supporting characters more. Like how Hu Haotian as ceo pre-apocalypse can interact and be shameless with their teammates without an ounce of ceo aura hahaha. Their interactions are so funny especially when Pan Dawei like to instructs the two naive teenagers Liu Bing and Lin Hai to clear up zombies, only to get p*rn magazines hahaha. There are also many times they remind Hu Haotian how creative his idea to build submarine theme supermarket, which lead them to smash the refrigerate room in search of generator

I also don't like when the author want to villainise Dr Cao, I think she is more FL material than the current one. She volunteered to bald her hair in order to get more data on psychic ability (dr cao also has psychic ablity like FL but lower level due to late use of crystals. FL hides her ability so people only know that she is the only one that has psychic ability). This also shows that she is much braver than fl, dr cao might have strong background but FL ability are stronger and FL also have the military background so I believe if FL plays her card right, no one can offend her even if her abilities exposed). Dr cao is also genuine to create a vaccine that can be seen when she will follow the dangerous expedition to get samples for research. Her love story is also much interesting than FL where she try hard to chase Wei Lan but not excessive. She secretly drop her purified crystal to Wei Lan when sleeping which makes me feel the sweetness and affection of love story. However, Wei Lan greatly disappoint me so I suggest not to read if you want to read their love story
