The main issue is that it feels like I'm reading two different novels. One with a cute, sweet and innocent MC staring up at ML with big eyes and spending their days lovingly while being pampered by their families.

The second with a disgusting, straight up evil psychopath of an MC forcing teenagers into prostitution and accepting that he has feelings of in*est towards who he thinks is his blood brother in a paragraph.

It's very disconcerting how the main character switches between these two and feels no regret for his actions, having sweet, illegal s*x with his pe*o lover and fainting from his lack of technique right after ruining the lives of bright, innocent teenagers.

I think that everyone else has already talked about the pe*ophilia, mol*station and g*ooming going on between the main couple, and also the fact that

It's incredibly disturbing how the 'revenge' is taken against people for thinking bad of, and maybe doing MC wrong in the future when they haven't done anything yet. Who hasn't had bad thoughts from time to time? Who hasn't schemed against someone they didn't like, or were jealous of, at least once? I implore you, right now, think. Does any innocent high school teenager DESERVE to be r*ped, humiliated, turned into a s*x s*ave and forced into prostitution for something he MIGHT have done in the future? Wang Cong was a top student with a bright future ahead of him, he worked hard, so what if he lusted after MC? He never r*ped him. He didn't come close to touching him, in either life time. All he did was fool a naive man who he was jealous of, in his PAST LIFE. What about Tian Jia? Did he deserve that? All he did was ask around when his friends were arrested, after which he was forced into prostitution for hurting MCs widdle feewings in his PAST LIFE.

And we are not even going to talk about how the evil (just greedy and a little dumb) aunt was assaulted, humiliated, r*ped, and then gangr*ped and filmed... and it was all 'justified' and 'her fault'. So if you're dumb, you deserve whatever happens to you?

The MC is a bitter, small, naive man who refuses to acknowledge his faults, shortcomings and take responsibility for his actions. I would blame this on his upbringing - but, clearly, people are born evil in this universe, judging by how baby Shu Yao came out of his mother's womb as scheming little black-hearted brat and how Wang Cong and Zhang's gang were blamed and took the fall for things they hadn't done yet, and so the MC must've also been born a two-faced evil shota. Then how come he was naive in his past life, and not in his current? BECAUSE PEOPLE CHANGE. People aren't black and white, circumstances like, oh I dont know, YOUR MOTHER NEEDING MONEY FOR SURGERY to LIVE, determine a person's actions.

You cant wholeheartedly blame ML for g*ooming even tho he did deserve to be in jail in real life, but MC, his IQ is not match his real age at all, needless to say ML has his mind dirty by something taboo he knew it in his heart that they are not related by blood (but cant justify his perverse he really is pe*ophile). BUT MC DOESNT KNOW THAT EVEN BEFORE HE KNEW THE TRUTH HE THOUGHT THEY ARE REAL BROTHER HE STILL WISH HE WOULD BE HIS BROTHER BOYFRIEND! WTF and it not in a fluffy or cute moment AT ALL

MC is like from shocked > helpless > make up some story in his head by himself that ML is deprived of love (but he was the one who say ML is loved by all elder in the house before he reborn 🙄) > and suddenly kinda fell in love with ML even tho he think they are brothers by blood.

1. MC made the decisions in his past life, he might be goaded or influenced or something, but he was already at an age where he knows what is right or wrong. Okay granting his upbringing it doesn't take away that he is partially at fault. So it annoys me when he dumps all those bad ending to his 'friends' without even acknowledging his own part. I don't know but I just hate how he push all the blame to others. Oh, he was the one who approached them in this life and lead them on the nose to their own destructions while laughing or smiling to the side, it felt like they were forced cannon fodder as he those people haven't done the bad things yet in the new life to him, he just made them so.

2. He is a hypocrite, he despised all the things that his 'friends' and even 'mother' and 'brother' had done to him, but come on! He did the worst in this life. He push someone into prostitution, he trampled the heart of that one guy who is practically grieving about his lover's death. And he speaks of justice. Just as how he was manipulated to do things, he did the same in his new life, even worst.

3. Hating the younger brother. He acknowledges that his father and grandfather are innocent, why not the younger brother? He hates the child, a blank slate who still has the chance to grow up well by giving him a different environment than your past life but no! He just hates him plain and simple, so he should not wonder why the child turn dark.

4. No character development, MC has just revenge, being innocent (come one you're an adult and you don't feel the s*xual tension from your brother?!), acting spoiled and being a villain. ML on the other hand is being a semi-pe*ophile, pampering MC being cold and the like

I actually enjoyed the beginning premise, yeah, it was pretty cliche. Guy got his life ruined by his own mom and is now back for revenge. But there's a reason why cliches are so popular and I just love these types of story.

If they are done well. Which in this case- no. The story began to get bland as the author starts to deviate further and further away from the actual revenge prospects that everyone signed up for. Yeah sure, the MC's school life is maybe somewhat important but I would very much like to see his mom get schemed against rather than the MC just passively goes along with his life passively scheming against people that, yes, are bad but are nowhere the level of his mom. I expected some epic schemes as he slowly traps his mom or something as he is way older. But no, he just acting like a child and occasionally schemes against other people.

Also his little brother, I get that he was a snake face bastard in his last life, but right how hes a BABY. An innocent party who the MC labels as pure evil and needs to be ruined bc the MC sees that apparently the B A B Y is already picking up scheming lessons from his mom.

Next is the goddamn romance. When I saw that the MC is a child when he is reborn and the ML is like 17 already I thought that maybe they'll just bond jn a brotherly way, a platonic way, and only starts to develop feelings after MC turns older and knows that they're not related in anyway.

Color me shocked (and uncomfortable) when I started reading about the ML piercing after his 12?13? Years old brother. I know that MC is 30 something mentally (a fact that I often forget since he doesn't act like it) but the ML doesn't know that he is which DOESN'T justify the ML perving after a child. And starts mol*sting him. Which is creepy. And makes me want to hurl everytime I read about the author describing MC as sexy or praising his buttocks when he is a CHILD.

Also, the MC is like 30 and he doesnt understand that mouth to mouth kissing is not normal? This is what I mean when I say that the MC doesn't think in a realistic way. Also can you imagine the contrast when he goes to think that mouth to mouth kissing is normal between siblings to scheming against people and talking about the stock market and business.

Also the MC is unmotivated as heck aside from his goal to crush his enemies. Other than sometimes moving his plans into action hes just sitting there interacting with the ML getting fed fruits and being mol*sted.

Also the MC is just relying on the ML for everything. I know that hes trying to 'hug the MLs golden thigh' but is it so hard to maybe do something, get into some other business that isnt connected to his family. I don't know, just something to make him more independent and strong as a character who has his own life and goals for after getting his revenge instead of just "being the ML's trophy wife."

It felt like the author didn't characterized the MC all that well. You kinda expect the MC to be a rounded character but hes just kinda bland and 2D. He doesn't have any interesting characteristics and no other goal than to get his revenge. He switches characters based in what the author needs from "uwu precious naive child" to " 'ruthless' businessman."

Yeah the story starts to go off the deep end once the MC and ML got together and the payoff to the schemes werent that worth it after how disgusted I was with the ML.

But I like the dad. The dad is legit the only good character here.

Throughout the story the older brother’s POV distinctly talks about how he’s essentially “training” the kid for the future by testing his bottom line and getting him accustomed to stuff. They bathe together, sleep naked together, touch each other intimately, kiss, etc. He even tricks the brother into slowly wearing sexy, animal-themed pajamas.
