he spared no mercy like, I felt bad for the Cannon fodder and other characters, I don't expect him to be forgiving but his revenge is just wayy too overboard, I felt bad for SY, I felt like at least he should spare him at least, and just make him good and stuff by raising him properly ;-;. Then I also felt a bit sad of why did SC have to die but that's is still kinda a bit more acceptable.

the reason I give this 3 stars is mainly of the revenge. I got mixed feelings as I was reading that part.

Now, the biggest issue for me is 'g*ooming' and this is exactly what it is. The author wants to cover up this fact by constantly reminding everyone that : "Hey it's okay guys because in that 12 year old body... is a 30 y/o soul. So the 18 year old Male lead is allowed to touch him up, nothing wrong here." Bs excuse. The Male lead starts off with the small things, allowing the child to sleep next to him. For me, this action was alright. But the bathing, the kissing and then the skimpy lingerie was a major WTF moment. As for the 30y/o soul... he thought it was brotherly skin ship

Ugh /).- that's all I'm gonna say on that issue. The novel itself is mediocre, side characters are all pretty bland. The ML is the usual cold, possessive, kind only to his lover ceo type and the Main Character is alright. The translation team did a pretty good job though.

Quite dark but well like it tho,

The MC mother and younger bro deserve these karma I guess ? Well for his past friend that two faced also a tr*sh tho. They deserved it. From what I've seen at least there's one woman is good in the plot and it's the nanny that taken care the MC in past that later being fired by MC's mom.

Well, I've learned that greed is dangerous heh heh

Warning! This story contained Shotacon, Possessive ML (not yandere, ML took really good care of MC), R18 scene (around 2/3 of story), black bellies MC/ML, and a lot of FLUFF!!!

There are some unrealistic/unreasonable plots, but I'm super ok with that.

I don't like slow pace novel, and this novel didn't let me down, it kept me wanting to read more and more. (But if you cannot take what's in the warning, then forget it)

Because ML regret something he did when they were young. The Family love that was supposed to be MC was snatch by him (ML). Because of MC's mother he hated ML. So he focus on that point of view kinda ignoring what's around him. Now that MC knows all about his mother wicked scheme he regret it. ML know he was not biologically Shu Cheng son. But SC still thought of him. Em guessing SC did not think to much about MC that time so MC did that. Took care of him, something like that. MC did not know that ML is not hiz true bro though.

The novel has its good side and it's bad sides. It's a decent novel to kill time with.

Good:

    • There's lots of fluff. Very sweet. This applies not only to the romantic relationship but also the family dynamics surrounding the MC.
    • The parts showing when or why the MC feels vindictive/hurt is well-written. Kudos to both the author and translator
    • The author provides some insight into why certain characters acted as they did in the two lives (before MC rebirth and after)
    • I don't personally like shota and read this before I noticed but the tag for this novel mentions shota and loli. For a shota though, the ML was willing to shown restraint and wait a few years. Anyone offended by the novel for the age gap should have paid better attention to the tags. Also, 30 years and 18 years are both adult ages. I can't see myself dating an 18 year old at age 30 but it's not that creepy nor is it pe*ophilia.
    • There was a plot. It wasn't an absolutely amazing plot but for a fluff piece it wasn't terrible.
Bad

    • For such a fluffy novel, there were lots of times where things got real dark, real fast. There's r*pe, kidnapping, and human trafficking to name a few.
    • The MC is really dense in regards to the ML's sexuality and intent. It's to the point where the only excuse he can have is that his brain cells died during the rebirth.
    • The ML ignores every time the MC asks him to stop a s*xual advance. The MC is in fear of discovery or in pain whenever they are together sexually. It doesn't really match the fluff nor the ML's initial restraint.
    • All female characters with more than a 4 line mention (except for maybe an actress who mentioned before and after she got famous?) are villains or terrible people. Plus, the MC showed more traditional female virtue (e.g. Caring for parents, being obedient) than all the women in the novel combined. How does that make sense?
    • There were more people hot and bothered over a 13-16 year old than I'd expect even for a shota

I like how it is a slow romance and his stepbrother was willing to wait for him to mature before doing the deed.

Fluffy, sexy, tantalising.

Some may get turned off by the under-age thingy (Shotacon) though...

I liked this story until I saw how he hated his unborn brother!!! I kinda can understand because in some cultures people believe people are naturally evil instead educated to be evil, but I would liked he decided to love his brother and change him!!

Instead, what I could read, he hates his brother and decided to hate him for something he did in his last life, something that his mother trained him to do... in fact, the MC was not different from his younger brother, he did bad things in... more>> the past...

Man.. I'm thankful for the reviews here. Saved me a lot of trouble.

The premise is so cute and fluffy. Who hates brotherly love, right? I'm also good with the story focusing on their interaction, it's just, the pe*ophilic undertones are a bit.. Disturbing. MC's 13, hello!?

And the revenge part, more so : (

I skipped the story to peek at the extra chapters, but wow, it really feels like the author went all out to ruin a promising plot with all that hateful and undeserving revenge.

3 stars because the author did a good job translating!!!

as for the novel itself, it had potential and was okay initially but I felt that halfway through the plot got lost and the author just half-assed the entire thing lmao.

it was quite creepy how all the ML could think of when he look at the MC is his body and whatnot, and MC's only 13!!! and ML is 18!! OTL. idk but it gave me a weird vibe. and I feel like all we know about the ML is that... more>> he's very, very, very cold like the author keeps emphasizing on how his gaze can make the entire temperature in the room drop lmaooo. I just felt that shu heng's personality/character wasnt that detailed, all he does is look angrily/coldly at people/have s*x with shu ning every time they meet/being possessive over shu ning lmao. I understand that the novel is from MC's POV but still.... I felt that ML only like MC because of his body considering how ML just keeps doing the pa pa pa with MC in each scene.

hmm, as for the drama aspect, it was certainly quite interesting to know about all the plots/schemes that the minor character is plotting so it was still okay. the family tree is so big, I almost forgot who was who lol. all in all, if you dont mind lengthy chapters or just want the smut ((still okay)), you can give it a try, but dont expect too much?? <<less

I'm just so happy. First off, Translator worked his/her ass off on this and I'm really thankful. Second, each chapter has a good amount of length, like there's a couple times when it reached to 10k words.

In this novel, each character has their own live. Like if they were a cannon fodder, Author portray their feelings and also added details on them to make them more humane. It's so crazy cause these characters are portrayed so realistically. Basically what I'm saying is that the Author don't do those cliche things... more>> where an antagonist would be evil to the bone. They would have life, their own characteristics, and flow of thoughts. This novel is just very well made.

The story of reborn with your memory intact and try to get revenge or prevent the bad men getting it. One of the nicest plot. Who wouldnt want to read such thrilling story?

I read till chapter 73, and felt bored, I even skipped some chapter that has MC ML interaction and go through with those that has MC family instead. Believe me, you wont lose anything even if you dont read it. After all they are just MC ML deeper and higher interaction aka smutty, it gets boring and numb... more>> after you read a whole 70chapters with the same point XDD

It's quite good plot, added with BL element into it.

At first, I liked it, siblings love BL and all that, but slowly I got uncomfortable. I mean, the author or MC writes/says it frequently that he was a 13yo kid!!! With 30 yo mind. How could he not mind his kid body getting mollested every day??? And s*x in another 3years?? Yeah, I get how 30 young man is thirsty for s*x but your body is still a child *facepalm*

ML is your typical seme with power and might, possesive, jealous type, nothing strange with his whole characteristics, what you call it yandere type? No r*pe thank goodness. I dont really like this type, but seems it's the popular seme to write and get the reader to admire.

MC is one confused character. Yes, they were bad people, but to purposely manage the whole 'digging pit and bury them asap' is somewhat one-sided. I agree with his scheme when it involves adult grown men. With adult, they might not change their attitude, but with your peers the same age (10-13 yo children) ? You can direct them to be better, make them as your s*aves, why throw them to graves (not literally) even when they havent done anything? The setting is in modern world, not in ancient chin with children adulting so fast.

And your younger brother? Even if he was bad before, this time he's just baby. If MC afraid of his misgiving, he only needs to get rid the mother, pamper and raise his younger brother as he likes it. MC can even 'groom' the lil bro like how ML doing with him. Nurture him to abandon the mother, and build the character. Then you might get another liltle one for yourself lol

I really liked the beginning and the revenge aspect of this story, but towards the middle, the plot became a bit haphazard and random. You could tell the translator (and maybe the author too) was getting bored of the story, it felt like there was nothing more substantial to add.

Also, the author's writing style is a bit repetitive and hyperbolic, which is fine in small doses, but makes the story a bit 2 dimensional when it happens as often as it does in this story.

Aka, the in*est/pe*ophilia, the bad morals, the misogyny, the victim blaming, the status oppression, the prejudice against lower income people, treatment of servants, the guilty until proven... well, they're just guilty, including the unborn infant, etc.

However, the timetravel/business aspect was pretty intriguing. I also liked the main family dynamics (minus all the revenge parts). It was interesting to see how he tried to obtain the adoration of his dad & grandpa the 2nd time around. I wasn't too much a fan of the romance, even though it was tooth-rotting fluff, because it got more and more repetitive and turned into infantilism play.

The MC is carried around everywhere, told when to eat, what to eat, when to sleep, hand fed, bathed, toweled, dressed etc. by the ML.

This novel was better than I thought it would be. Helli did a very good job translating.

As for the story, it's a slow burn but it can't be helped because in a large chunk of the first half, the MC was still underage. Even if he fell in love first, the ML had to be very patient and waited for him to grow up. There's a lot of shota action but it wasn't explicit.

There were some side stories. The main side story was about the MC's relatives particularly his uncle.... more>> But it was okay since the side stories were pretty interesting and the uncle was likeable. The other supporting characters were fleshed out and weren't just there for decoration.

In spite of his mental age (30), the MC did act like a spoiled teenager a lot but it's understandable since he did not have that opportunity in his previous life. Not only did he want to take revenge on the people who hurt him, he also wanted to change certain negative aspects of his previous life. But he did use his memories and maturity whenever he took revenge and ensured his future (he wanted to be independently rich and not be involved with the Shu's family business).

The excitement of the love story did slow down after they got together and became a stable couple so there were boring parts. But the novel isn't simply a romance, it's also about the MC's life outside of his relationship with the ML. My only complaint is that the ML was too perfect but then perfectly beautiful, talented and heavily jealous top-MLs are very common in danmei novels so I wouldn't count it as a negative.

Overall, the story is definitely worth reading. <<less

Im addicted! There's so much fluff in the story I cant even!!!

To be honest im only here for the development of the the elder brother and the MC. The family politics is a bit muddled to me. But the fluff in the story overpowers it so I dont care. Lol.

It can be disturbing for some since it's pretty much loli and while reading the novel you vant help but feel that the mc's age is younger because of his childish actions. But if you're not bothered by that, it's a... more>> great reead!

Definitely one of my top5 yaoi novels.

Update:

After finishing this, it's more of a 4star for me. It's still pretty good if you like fluff and no heavy plot. The last quarter of the story went downhill for me. There's nothing interesting plot wise after they dealt with the mother. And all they did was s*x after they started doing it. It got repetitive but I still finished it just for the sake of it.

the ML is a pe*o and MC is just plain weak.

Just try to imagine an immature self entitled man in his 30s who likes acting spoiled being stuck in the body of a 12 year old with a grudge against his baby brother... that's our MC.

idk what his lil bro did in the future, right now our MC is literally bullying a literal baby yet somehow we're supposed to root for him. Plus he's so f*cking useless it's insane. He relies on... more>> his big brother for everything and his schemes can't even be called smart cuz his opponents are literally teenagers.

The MC has no ambition in life and the strong emphasis on the 'shou' and 'gong' of his f*cked up relationship with his elder brother is so uncomfortable to read. The fact that the author repeatedly feminizes the MC so much is also uncomfortable to read. Added to the age gap, the coercion, the conditioning, and the mc's extreme dependence on his brother, everything is so toxic.

this novel is shit. No morals. No likable characters. Bad writing. <<less

very fluffy with some moderately satisfying petty (so far) revenge.

i find the fact that the older brother doesn't understand why he feels so warm and fuzzy towards the MC offsets the borderline shota vibes for me. He's denser than a pile of bricks when it comes to relationships and still hasn't realized his feelings are anything more than (over) protective and brotherly and we're almost to c60 now.

the really funny thing is that our MC is the one who started all the touching, hugging and kissing just to mess with... more>> the ML, who is so proper all the time and suspected of having no sense of humor. The sudden animal pj fetish is a little weird though.

the translator did a great job here. There was lots of fluff and lots of pa pa pa moments but the rest of the story was kind of messy. I'm never going to be a fan of r*pe in any form so the r*pe as revenge was a big turn off for me and they set this up more than once (it lost a star for this). The revenge ended up being kind of scattered and on the side so if your reading this as a revenge novel, it doesn't really work. I also have a problem with the emasculation of the MC and turning him into a female in all ways but physical characteristics, though I realize it's typical in a lot of Chinese BL novels. <<less

I've been wondering why people didn't give it 5 stars... Oh, no wonder. The MC is still 13 years old.

Well, I don't mind. It's just a kiss and hug and older brother is trying to restrain his hunger (although up until now he still doesn't realize his own feeling). So it's still safe for me. And I'm really addicted to their fluffy brotherly time. Yes, so it's still good for me.

Though I don't have any comment about the females... It made me think that females are scary (wait,... more>> I'm a girl)...

Other thing that has been bothered me is the translation. Sometimes it confused me whenever there are typos or dialogs between two or more person. I hope the translator will be more careful when he/she is translating. <<less
