This story truly touches my heart. A simple chick-lit plot turned into a heart-warming, fluffy novel - a girl and a boy met at a Civil Affairs Bureau then cohabited with a ‘marriage’ as a front.

Misery loves company - a gorgeous MC and ML.. Both alone and lonely. 😂 Aside from them, the supporting characters are also very cute!!! You’ll love all of them..

I just wanted to give kudos to the author. Although the rebirth plot is over used, this author really put a lot of heart and soul to the writing. The emotions were understandable, the story has feelings. Work well done.

This story is too cute, a lot fluff and minimum amount of drama. Some parts are touching and while the story is short and simple, it is nonetheless sweet! A recommended work for webnovel beginners like me!

The story is good. It was funny and the plot is good. MC has her own weakness and both of them (ML) is not that OP which is a good thing. I recommend this novel to read:)

Not the best piece from grumpy crab, but as we know all grumpy crab novel is just so GOOD. FL not charming in 1st time we read about her, but slowly we learn about her we can’t help to fall for her charm as ML does. She’s honest about her feeling, and straightforward. ML is just so.. Sexy.. LOL. The bedroom activity written well. Can’t help to fall in love with this couple. And as expected from grumpy crab, not many drama, lots of fluffiness, beautiful story with lots of... more>> moral message, with beautiful lines. Translator did a wonderful job to relay this one. And I read this while listening blue and white porcelain from jay chou, thank you grumpy crab to introduce me to this bittersweet song. <<less

This is a definitely 5 stars rating story. Not to be missed. Heartwarming and truly slice of life genre.

And this is so true....'A woman's hardship is when she wholeheartedly gives herself to her family but not appreciated'.....

Fluffy, funny, and a bit silly, this novel is great if you want some pleasant drama-free reading. It won't change your life, but it's a good story. The relationship between MC and ML grows believably over time, and both of them are likeable people. MC's interactions with her friends are fun, and the B plot of the business and their relationships is a nice touch that adds some depth to the story.

    • su*cide - There's a very minor plot point (in only one chapter I think? With the character being mentioned again in another chapter) involving a character that would have committed su*cide without MC's intervention, and it's mentioned that one of MC's friends committed su*cide in the previous timeline.
    • Domestic ab*se - not explicit and no physical harm, but after MC breaks up the relationship of the friend who would have committed su*cide, it's revealed that character is pregnant and the way her ex responds and continually harasses her about it at least borders on abusive behavior.

This is an amazing story. Fluffy. Rebirth. The romantic build up is great. They didn’t just like each other in the beginning.

This made me love this author. Try to check out other works of grumpy crab. It’s all amazing.

Although I certainly did not like that FL sang a song that was not yet released. Like wth, what will happen when the actual singer released that? Won’t that person be accused of plagiarism?

It introduced me to a great song though, Blue and white porcelain.

A light, but impactful read. The fluff isn't extremely overbearing, but at the same time, it makes you feel something from the inside and before you know it, you're already bearing a smile on your face. You could see the characters grow while they go through different situations and once every strand is resolved, it makes you feel proud and if you're as weak-willed as me, you wouldn't notice that tears are suddenly dropping from your eyes.

The author has written such a humorous yet heartwarming novel and I just wanted... more>> to cheer on almost all of them from the bottom of my heart. No interaction was deemed useless in my perspective. I love how the leads have actually portrayed my ideal relationship, and I adore everything about them, good or bad.

The translator has also done a really good job of translating this novel. I'm not one to give opinions on the accuracy and stuff like that since I don't know Chinese and all that, but this is one of the Chinese novels I've read that flowed so well in English. I actually never realized that until I reached the end, and I really am grateful to them as well since I never knew I needed this gem of a novel.

All in all, a really great novel. The relationships and interactions between the characters wouldn't leave you in the air. Every strand has been tied perfectly by the author, no massive loose thread would distract you in your reading. <<less

One of the few modern novels that I love. Not too much drama with the right amount of fluff. Definitely give this a go if you don’t like angst and just want something light and could give you happy vibes.

Would give this more stars if I could because I just adore the main character so much. And her friends! Her friendship is great, her interactions with everyone is great, every chapter of this somewhat episode slice of life book was like sitting down with a warm cup of tea somewhere cozy. Delicious.

Rebirth on the Doors to the Civil Affairs Bureau is an extremely light hearted novel, and that is my favorite thing about it! There is minimal drama between the MC and the ML, and they warm up to each other by degrees while always appreciating and caring for each other. I love the MC's straightforwardness and the ML's care and thought.

The MC, Yu Dong, has a few friends who she grew apart from in the original future, and her closeness to them (plus averting a bad end for one of... more>> them) is really touching. My favorite part about this novel is the radio host part, and the subtle buff that being reborn gives Yu Dong: it's believable to me that MC's increased life experience would make her able to give good advice, or do things like help the ML translate his papers and not overwork himself.

There's numerous people who Yu Dong's advice really helps, and we get to see the end result of it, which is very heartwarming. In the end both the husband and wife have extremely successful careers and cute kids. <<less

I'm giving this a full 5 stars simply because it didn't have a lot of drama, the story was simple yet full of encouraging life lessons, and it had lots of FLUFF.

The FL was quite funny. I love her friendship with her 2 girl friends. And I definitely agree with the translator, their friendship is definitely friendship goals! Ren XinXin was right. She was really blessed with great friends. I wish I was as blessed as her with regards to friendships. LOL.

The ML was a little bit boring in the... more>> beginning of the story but eventually he became more charming. I think how he handled his relationship with his ex-girlfriend is something we can experience in real life. I'm really happy the EX finally had a changed of heart and didn't cause too much drama.

Overall, it was a very fun read! Highly recommend it to everyone who wants to read something funny, fluffy and devoid of too much dramas. <<less

I totally enjoyed reading this. A wonderful fluff romance story with valuable life lessons at the side. I really loved how the romance bloomed between our main couple, its heartwarming and mature, none of that crazy whirlwind romance but understanding, stable, full of warmth and just simply being each other support through the highs and lows of life. I highly recommend. 10/10

i didnt like it for the first few chapters but gradually yu dong really grew on me. Everyone is sensible. The couple communicates well. Drama is present but dealt with logically. Best of all our MC is a radio host!! Best radio host novel ive read, bar none. The fluffy romance was a side benefit tbh

Sweet, fluffy, but not so unrealistic. Until now the unrealistic part is only about MC reborn.

The MC and ML are reasonable people so there isn't a long-term misunderstanding that can cause crack in their relationship.

This novel contain more than romance and comedy, there are some chaps that can make reader cry...
