Yaassss this deserves to be one of the top novels for CN FL Romance. None of the usual cookie cutter stories with the outrageously op FL with equally outrageous skills and network (*cough* im talking bout you Full Marks and other similar stories). Also doesn’t have the unrealistic ML. Hmmmm well at least this ML could be said to be more realistic compared to the usual ones. Side characters are also used 100%. Not just mentioned once and used to further plot. Best of all, it’s not dragged out at... more>> all. I actually feel like the author could have made the story longer but either way, it ended on a good note. <<less

A very fluffy read, perfect for those who want to be diagnosed with diabetes.

I really enjoyed the prose, the dynamic between the main couple were very good. I feel like they complimented each other. The ML had a kind of gentleness to his personality fits so well with the MC's passionate and sometimes, a bit over-aggressive side. The side characters' personality were very good, too. I enjoyed shipping who-and-who. I won't say it here, so go give this a try!

I think I'll come back and re-read this again someday.

The translation was good, and gelled with the story well. This is a fluff masterpiece, the characters are quirky, the dog food is constantly served, and delicate feisty women are frequently attacking s*um men when needed. I enjoyed this read very much.

The MC and ML are adorable, the friends are hilarious.

I find the MC is enjoying her rebirth and is shamelessly using her knowledge to secure herself and her friends a better happier future, while playing whack-a-mole with s*um men from the past who haunt her.

Read if you love fluff.

I have read the raws instead of the translations. Therefore, I am unable to judge the translations.

I came across this novel by recommendations of some Chinese netizens. My first impression was that the female lead was so bold. That was something I am very impressed with but because of her boldness she managed to take a step to develop a relationship with the Male lead. In my opinion, she dares to love and dares to let go. That is something I learnt from. My impression of the Male lead is... more>> someone who is a bit traditional. If I remembered correctly, he has this mindset where that once he is married he will let go of his past. That I something I truly respect and agree on.

Throughout the whole novel, the female lead tries to improve her life. The reason why the female lead wanted to marry the male lead was that she knew that 10 years later the male lead would be successful in completeing his research, where then he would be a very successful person and well known doctor. The male lead wanted to marry to let her mother who was ill to not worry too much. Therefore, the two leads married and the female lead and male lead live together. Whenever the Male lead visits his mother, he would bring the female lead. The female lead is well loved by his parents because of her personality. From the start, their relationship isn’t very close but the female lead sometimes teases the male lead which is rather hilarious. The female lead also managed to get a job as a DJ. Even though, she wasn’t popular at first. She slowly gained fans because of her advices to some listeners that called. Her advices were really practical and encouraging. On the other hand, the Male lead was busy doing his research. Both were rather busy that even the Male lead didn’t notice his wife worked late until one day when he came home late and his wife wasn’t at home. They slowly showed care to each other by simple actions such as the male lead waiting for the female lead to come home or fetch her home after work and the female lead continuously encouraging the male lead when the male lead is feeling low that his research would be successful.

If you would to ask me whether it is realistic, I would say rather so if there are people like the female lead and male lead. The female lead’s advice is very realistic and some things can be learnt from.

In conclusion, I would recommend this novel to any readers who are seeking for a rather light novel which doesn’t include too many dramatic plots or someone seeking for a heartwarming novel. <<less

Thank you, translators, for bringing more mature romance stories to the attention of english-reading people like me. This story has it all! All the characters feel like actualized people - they have flaws, differences in opinions, distinct personalities. Both the MC and ML have great outlooks and earn what they achieve, including a wonderful fluffy romance!

Each chapter makes my day, even when something relatively bad happens. Thanks again!

Generally speaking the plot is quite interesting but the way it was executed was disappointing.

The characters are not bad, a witty FL that teaches ethics and morality everywhere she goes while staying confident and occasional face slapping,

a gentle and rich doctor of a husband and two good friends.

I don’t know if its the translation (I doubt it) but the storytelling wasn’t rlly good. It was pretty fast paced and lacked a lot of depth. Every instance was rushed seeming like they just wanna get a new face slapping or... more>> strong-female -lead-moment in.

It seems lazily written and doesn’t rlly capture any emotions.

Plot wise its aight but I dropped it because I can’t rlly see me getting invested in this writing style. <<less

I put the rest of my comment in a spoiler because if you're going to read my review then this is the part I want people to read the most:

People talk about this story as very light and romantic, but I think the main theme of the story is the struggle of women in society with regard to their marriage. Women are treated like objects too often. The woman who was r*ped was yelled at by her mother and forced to marry her rapist. The woman who ran away from... more>> home to elope was criticized, but when she was unable to get married beyond 30 she became the shame of her family. The woman who was ridiculed for being fat as a child by a boy met that boy again as a man and it looks like she's going to still end up with him even though he still has the same personality towards her (and seems to be a s*umbag too). The men all have flaws but the only woman who has clear flaws is the hateable ex-girlfriend. All of the happy endings the women in this story get are realistic, but they're all "but..." endings. Of the MC's two friends, one will likely end up with an as*hole who is still flippant after his possible love interest's best friend went into premature labor and is in danger because of his friend, and the other might still end up with her rapist

This is a story that will make you smile about the fluff, then remind you how unfair the world is even in fiction for women. I rated it highly because I do think it's good, but I can't rate it 5 because every time I read the best friends' (or MC's past) storylines I just want to cry in frustration.

Usually, it's the ML acting like a rogue, so the switch up here is really refreshing. The FL is very domineering and constantly bothering the ML.

It's sorta weird but I like that the MC's job is a radio DJ. It's not a job I've seen any other cn wn MC have, usually it's a side character job.

I really love how this novel captures the sentimentality of unmarried women just wanting to find that certain man yet finding themselves in a situation where they lose their youthful beauty with each passing year. There is also that pressure from family and friends in being urged to marry. I know it's out of well-meant concern, but their disappointment is too much to bear. It becomes stiffling. So, I sympathize with our FL here, and her struggles as a 'leftover' woman. Is it so bad to be picky? I've seen marriages where spouses are dissatisfied with each other, or they just breakup because it didn't work out. Although I believe marriage is a wonderful blessing, but if it just brings me problems, I'd better stay single.

As a 26 year old female-presenting person from a more traditional town, even though I'm perfectly fine with living alone, I still struggle with being what we call a "matandang dalaga" (like "elderly bachelorette"), so the times when MC reminisces about her past/future speaks to me.

If there's one thing I didn't really like, it's that at times this story is too realistic. I've seen people recommend this as a light fluffy read, but while there is a lot of fluff, it's also too realistic at points. The best example is the MC's family. They're a very realistic "traditional family from a village". They're not villains, but that somehow makes it feel worse when the MC has to deal with them and her complicated feelings for her family. It can feel upsetting when one moment you're reading fluff then the next you're reading about how nothing MC does is good enough for her family because she's a woman so the most important thing about her to her family is her marriage. And because they're not villains, the MC never "deals with them" and they don't get better. I honestly skipped the family chapters because it hit too close to home.

So love the novel!!!

It was full of fluff and also some life lessons. There was no unnecessary drama as well. The FL and ML are just perfect for each other! Their love was not abrupt and was gradual which added to the sweetness 🥰

A rather sweet story that is really just about the fluff between a pair in a very strange marriage.

The MC is a young woman who has regressed back to the day her former boyfriend broke up with her. She sees someone else who has been abandoned on the steps so she immediately proposes marriage to him. From there, the MC becomes a late-night DJ and cultivates the feelings between her and the ML. She only uses her knowledge from her previous life to know that the ML is going to... more>> be successful and about the fates of her two friends.

The ML is a young surgeon (late 20s) who just broke up with his girlfriend after she refused to marry him. Surprised by the MC's proposal, he does agree as his whole reasoning is to give his mother more incentive to push through during the surgery she needs to have. He begins falling first but their romance is rather mutual and just fluff.

Overall, the MC's "butterfly effect" was pretty negligent. Her ex-boyfriend shows up once or twice but then kind of fades out of the story. The ML's ex-girlfriend shows up more frequently, and while she tries to start trouble on occasion, she is rather ineffectual. The ex-girlfriend does have some character growth before the end of the story.

She realizes that the MC is better suited for the ML. She also realizes that if she had been in a relationship with the ML that it would probably not end up being a happy one as she also wanted to be a successful doctor.

Her character, up until that realization, is pretty much written as a person who always wanted the ML to wait for her as she would "always have him" and was pursuing the things she did not have. She never believed that the ML would ever leave her or move on despite the fact that she rejected his proposal three times. Even with the third time being a bit of an ultimatum (as the ML was dating with the goal of marriage but she was not interested).

The story is relatively short so not everything is as fleshed out as it should be but it's a rather enjoyable read. The after-stories are kind of weird though.

First is the after-story from the PoV of the MC and ML's son who is a super-genius. The story is weird as it jumps into first person which is jarring after a full story in third person.

The last after-story is told from the PoV of an alien. Yep. An alien. Basically, a throwaway character returns to the story and details how his people are all implanted with chips that make them know everything. They don't have a lot of emotions so when the first one of his species commits su*cide, it starts an epidemic of their race wanting to experience the emotions that come with it. He got sent to Earth to figure out humans and their emotions to try and put a stop to what was happening with his people.

Yeah. It's a wait.... wut? after story.

The first few chapters may triggers you a bit but as you read you will find out that the ex-girlfriend is not that pitiful afterall. While yeah, that's not very nice for the ML to give ultimatum like that, but she is not much better anyway. Their relationship already has problems even before she left to study abroad and break up is inevitable.

MC do not fall in love at first sight, she knows that ML will be successful in the future and decided that he is a catch. I assume that in previous life the ML is single, meaning after his ex-gf left him, his mother's surgery failed and she died, so after ex-gf is back and tries to reconcile he refused. And I thought so because MC never mention that ML has lover or wife, only that he is a successful doctor so that may be why she decided that he is the best potential husband.

I won't say much about their personality because it will be obvious as the story progress. And although the ex-gf is kinda annoying she is not a horrible villainness like in those face-slapping novels. I think the most hateful person in this novel is

the ex of MC's best friend, that scummy man Lu Xuan. Heck, if I remember correctly, they don't even have a relationship in the first place, just childhood friends or something. It was her mother who set her up, to be exact.

This is a novel that I read multiple times and I recommend to my sisters. I love it.. The story development is good. The MC is good her motivation talk on each her program I love it. Male lead is a down to earth person with problems and solutions. Good couple good story I love it

Thank you for translating this novel 😘

The songs, poem and some of the lovey dovey words were really beautiful.

This novel reminds me of 'Chicken Soup for the Soul's' books. Is the kind of story that makes you realize the different shades of life.

... more>> Both the FL and ML had been dumped hence they got married without knowing much about each other. Slowly, they learn about each other and decided to make their feelings mutual.

There were not much of drama or scheming or villain in this novel. The story was light, sweet and certain parts will definitely tear you up if you are an emotional people.

Well, I actually felt a bit skeptical about the FL because the only reason she agreed to marry the ML is because she was reborn and knew that he will be successful in the future. It kinda prove that she was also materialistic although she did became a good wife to him but still it bothers me.

Plus, the author didn't really state a clear reason why her ex broke up with her. Not much of their story. This novel has much more potential but sadly the author just decided to make it short hence not much of plot.

The alien part was just so random lolll. Wtf was that??? My brain still can't digest it but since there is rebirth why not level up and talk about alien huhhh??? <<less

There are some quotes in this story that are just too catching. Translation is just too good.

It's a story full of sunshine and warmth. The radio broadcast tidbits are my most favorite. I could just keep reading this story on and on.. Not your typical ML or FL. But they are both... more>> adorable.

The story outlines a wonderful bond of friendship between the 3 Female characters. You wish you were one of them.

Easygoing, fluffy and fluid storyline. It was a pleasant change.

This is my first time writing a review, I really registered here just so I can write this.

Though this is fluffy and just cute, this is also a perfect example of a realistic slice-of-life. Except the travelling back in time plot, everything else is just so realistic.

Although the main focus of this is about our main characters, I also love the fact that the world does not revolve around them. They weren't written as OP. They weren't the most handsome/ beautiful, the richest, or the most successful to the point... more>> that everybody notices them and likes them. In fact, they are ordinary people who have their own story among every other people who also have their own stories. Because you can also feel that the side characters, and even the extras, also have a story of their own.

Now, about the main characters:

The FL, Yu Dong, is not your typical time traveller who became overly successful just because she knows the future. In fact, in the new timeline, she lives an ordinary and happy lfe with her husband. She's shameless and cheeky.

Xai Feng, is not your cliche cold-hearted or indifferent ML, or the shameless flirt ML. He is a gentleman who knows how to communicate how he feels. He's even embarrassed at times. He is also a loyal and doting husband who does his best to spend time with his wife despite being a busy doctor.

And as a couple, they are so healthy! Their communication is the best!

This is just perfect. There is a bit of drama but they are not unnecessary dramas that were just thrown at the plot of the sake of having some kind of problem. <<less

Its a great story to read. Even after reading it 5 times already, I still enjoyed it. Nothing revolutionary, some might even call it generic but still, I love it so 5*

I just love how savage she is with her ex when ever they met.

I do think that the romance is kinda rushed and they still need time to bloom.

I loved it. I regretted not reading this earlier. This novel was very light and warm. It made me feel that there is still warmth here on earth. To everyone out there who's hesitating to read this, please DON'T. Take this time to take a break from the heavy dog-blooded plots and scheming. This is a very nice read. You won't regret it. (I won't post spoilers hahaha you can discover it on your own.)

Also, I'm looking forward to reading the author's other novels.

Rerun 08-01/23 and it's still as good as I remembered.

I just randomly pick it up and the 1st chapter leave me speechless and bewildered.

I seem to not be able to not stop reading the story and I can't stop smiling. I took a big bite and eat all chapters in one go.

This is one of my favorite novel especially chapter 1~41 ❤

Such a strong MC and know what she wants right after going back in time... that's rare and that got hooked right away.
