Su Ling transmigrated into an ABO novel, and his imaginary male god Gu Liheng was the supporting cannon fodder of this novel.

But after getting married, the cannon fodder shou went to pester the protagonist gong instead, framing the protagonist shou, causing Gu Liheng’s reputation to be damaged, resulting in his death in the end.

Su Ling decided to take Gu Liheng down before he gets forced into marriage by that cannon fodder shou!

Gu Liheng handed him an inhibitor.

Didn't finish.

This was quite nice for a relaxed reading but I later on got bored. I was honestly waiting for when he would go to college because it seemed like a huge motivation for our MC and the original host.

It wasn't really bad. Just that by the time I reached this point, I was already satisfied and wasn't that interested in what comes after.

It's cute. It's fluffy. Not much spice. It's just the kissing and wake the next morning type.

You have characters processing and dealing with their problems in healthy ways. The ML is in therapy and learns he deserves love.

the mum gets the help she needs with her trauma. The "villain" character eventually realises that he needs to stop carrying his previous life with him and see this as a do over and a fresh start

I was confused by the mention by the uncle about how they never found the dad's body and couldn't confirm he died. They just took the fact that none of his accounts were every touched and he didn't contact his family to prove that he was dead. Was wondering if that was going to go somewhere like he was on a planet with amnesia or something. But it ended up just being a throw away line.

The plants are such funny characters.

This is just a sweet, slice of life story. There isn't much action or responses from the "villain" characters. The MC's unpleasant family fade away pretty quick. The original troublemaker pops up a couple times with limited screen time and the evil uncle is dealt with quite quickly.

I really liked this story and will read it again. It's a great refresher story for when you have read something heavy/complicated/emotional/etc before you find the next one.

It's just a sweet and gentle story with some funny plants and healthy relationships where couples talk about their feelings and respect eachother. <<less

The story was nice but I got bored halfway through. After the whole pheromone thing was resolved it kind of got boring. Overall ok read. Might finish it later.

Came back to read it and it was much better this time around. It follows a lot of similar tropes from this kind of novels so it can be predictable but it's good.

A capable chemist rebirths into a canon fodder character in his favorite book. Coming from our world he entered a world of six genders and pheromone induced experiences. He encounters prejudice due to his own unpleasant pheromones.

He’s a pleasant character: straightforward and affectionate with a brain. His decisive pursuit of the ML is fun. Once they are officially together, I felt less invested in their relationship. I was still invested in the story.

In this world spiritual plants achieve varying levels of intelligence. The spiritual plants our MC encounters are all... more>> delightful. Seeing what new, strange or quirky thing they would do next never felt old.

The world building does what it needs to. The secondary characters are by and large weak with only a few being developed beyond a walk on need for the plot.

Truthfully, I almost always despise omegaverse stories because of the built in problematic sexism and propensity of r*pe. This story does mention a forced mating but it doesn't happen to our leads or their immediate friends. The sexism... even in this story it almost killed my desire to continue. If that isn’t an issue for you, you’ll enjoy this even more than I did.

If it is, know that despite the inherent flaws in the cultural set up, the fairytale joy that permeates the spiritual plant interactions all the way to the last scene never failed to make me smile. Give it a try. <<less

The plot is nice. How MC don't want his male god to suffer then marry him. Also how MC discovered the truth behind MC nasty pheromone smell.

The character are also good. MC and ML are cute and sweet. The side character did their best as well.

All I wanted to say was why do MC need to marry ML because of that reason? Though it is only a novel it bothers me a lot.

Next, why at the past half ? Part of the novel, they need to add that bunch of plants.

Yes plants is a must since it was required to heal the MC and for the job of omegas but for me, I felt that it was not needed to elaborate at all.

Well this is definitely good and the translation is also good from banana!!

Recently I took liking to ABO setting novels and this story is definitely good and I love the concept of spiritual plants. I like MC's character he is strong and someone who looks forward instead of crying over past. ML is also a good pair with him.

Summary doesn't really come into play until well into the story, and it's not quite as what you might expect. Regardless, not a bad story. Pretty enjoyable, though I did have to take a break in between.

There were a few elements that could've been more interesting had the author pursued it more, but the way things were resolved wasn't bad.

I like the MC and the ML, the side characters were pretty forgettable (aside from the spritual plants; I love them LOL), and the villains were petty and even more... more>> forgettable.

It's a kind of casual, feel good story that you read when you're bored. <<less

Pretty good. Quite fluffy and the characters are good too. No complex plot, no major plot twist, no angst, little character development from the ML. I'm pretty sure in a few months or years I'll forget abt this story. Its not that impactful. The author and the translator seems nice <3

Edit: 3 weeks later, I've stumbled upon this once again and surprised that I already read and rated this. Ps. I really loved the ML here, I think.

Love this. It cute and fulffy. It's fast paced so you don't have to worry about getting bored. And the author is constant and steady with the plot.

I also love the fact that there is no toxicity in the story. No r*pe, alphas havings egos the size of the empire state building or omegas being treated like toys or s*aves.

Okay so I dropped this novel sometime after they get together cause it was getting a bit boring for me, but I would still rate it as 5 stars.

I read this long time ago so I might be forgetting some details, but I actually quite liked this novel.

I like the MC of this novel. He is straightforward and likeable and quite independent.

The ML of the story is also quite likeable. Was a bit frustrated cause of his continuous rejection of the MC (not really rejection, and he does like the... more>> MC, just to be clear). I quite liked the ML.

Overall, I really liked the story and you all should completely read it. <<less

Very respectful to Omega, no non-con, plants with a conscious (IQ) which is a very interesting idea. There wasn't much of a "chase"; they seem to like each other pretty quickly. Rather, it focuses more on ML recovery from his mental barriers and, well, the plants! The plants are a mix between cute kids and protective papa bear (plants). MC's conversations with them are pretty funny as well. Overall, I thought the plot and romance itself was kinda lame, but the idea of ABO plus conscious plants was pretty interesting,... more>> and the lack of demeaning of Omegas was also a great plus. <<less

The beginning of this one was fine but gradually I just couldn’t bear to read this any longer 😑 I’m absolutely fine with cliches and all but this was just too much for so this will be the last time I’ll ever read Mary Sue abo genre. Really glad to found and read this and will never forget this traumatic experience.

No or minor plot holes, no ab*se marketed as romance or toxic relationships, likeable characters, nice plot progression, logical events, true to description, didn't get bored at all.

There was nothing that bothered me and I'm a picky reader.

First, I love the world background of the novel. It's really well done. The spiritual plants are especially interesting.

Second, I love that the villains are not brainless one-dimensional characters.

Most of all, I love the relationship between the MC and the ML. It's really precious because both are flawed characters who are not omnipotent.

It started off nice and ended nicely without much of unneeded drama however I got bored in middle but I still pressed on completed it. The omega is not weak here as in the MC he is decisive and strong which is one of the great point of this story. It’s fun story

This novel is great. The plot, characters and background information is perfectly written. I became smitten with the storyline since the beginning. The author wrote such a fine masterpiece. I also want to thank the translator/s for the hard work. Keep it up.

So cute 😍 no unneeded drama, misunderstandings are talked out and this story is just pure saccharine sweetness.

What really made it 5 stars for me were the adorable spiritual plants and the ABO world that doesn’t discriminate, full of respectful alphas and the omegas who have their strong positions in society ❤️
