Su Ling transmigrated into an ABO novel, and his imaginary male god Gu Liheng was the supporting cannon fodder of this novel.

In the novel, a cannon fodder shou sought refuge with Gu Liheng, using a favor gained previously to make Gu Liheng marry him. But after getting married, the cannon fodder shou went to pester the protagonist gong instead, framing the protagonist shou, causing Gu Liheng’s reputation to be damaged, resulting in his death in the end.

Su Ling decided to take Gu Liheng down before he gets forced into marriage by that cannon fodder shou!

Su Ling’s body fell softly on Gu Liheng.

“President Gu, let me smell your pheromones, I feel uncomfortable QAQ”

Gu Liheng handed him an inhibitor.

Su Ling gave Gu Liheng roses every day for a whole week.

“President Gu, I love you, can you marry me?”

Gu Liheng: “No.”

Su Ling: “…” Eff this.

Gotten tired of chasing people around, Su Ling decided to give himself a few days off.

The first day

Su Ling didn’t show up. Gu Liheng: “…”

The second day.

Gu Liheng: [Looking Out Of The Window]

The third day.

Gu Liheng knocked on Su Ling’s door and said: “Why don’t you come over anymore?”

Love it! This novel is a easy, lovely read. Su Ling is a amazing MC, not braindead that let everyone bully him.

Gu Liheng is lil bit shallow, for a ML. I think the author forgot he needs more personality and motives instead just following the plot. He doesn't grow and his illness is poor handled (trauma can't be cured like that authornim!!!)

Aww, this was really good. It's peaceful and simple and happy, so if you want that, this is definitely for you. No dogblood drama, just a little bit but most doesn't really have much of an effect, feels like fillers hahaha anw this was really cute.

I always have a soft spot for transmigration novels where MC is discovered/told that he transmigrated or from another world so I was pleasantly surprised by the coma and the exchange spirit thing. Gu Liheng, , is true that he was really lucky getting Su Ling but its vice versa. Su Ling is so cute and strong and really loyal and straightforward. Gu Liheng is so loyal and loving and gentle and caring. I like it when Su Ling swims lol. This was a fun and peaceful read, there really are no unnecessary dog blood drama. Dou Dou is so cuteee, totally didn't expect that Su Ling would get pregnant that early hehehe but good surprise. Long mo Teng and Xiao Mo Yun are so OP hahhaha Uncle long and Papa Xian hahahaha didn't expect that Papa Xian thought of SL as his son before it was mentioned hahahahah pocket money hahaha and there's an additional plant heeheh really good. It was my first time encountering a plot with spiritual plants? So it was a cool discovery.

Reread no cause it's short but it's really a nice and simple read! <<less

Didn't finish, but the beginning and middle of the story were cute. I liked the plot before it became all about the plants, and

had them talking to the MC and basically adopting him as their child

I came across this story when browsing omegaverse after reading My Dragon and ended up loving it haha

Oh my god I love the plants so much! Best dad and uncle! Haha they are simply the best! SL's persistence is actually charming and not annoying as per the ML already liked him too and just contemplating.

Super fluffy and full of dog food. And the first antagonist too get a character development

Just quite disappointed that the author didn't highlight his university life and some plotholes that's not easy to recognize.

A very light and cute read. I really liked the spiritual plants and their interactions although I feel a bit sorry for them as they would be considered as endangered species. I hope that they aren't the last of their kind as that would be too sad.

This is a refreshing ABO where for once the protagonist MC is the one chasing the ML. I don't think I have read books with this point-0f-view especially with the MC = Our protagonist (not the world's protagonist), I highly suggest the books for people who have read too many Tsundere MC.

It's good though not the most logical one which is fine since it's only fictional.

There were not much relationship problems and the supposed antagonist have realization before doing major evil plans.

This is mostly about the MC's journey on chasing his 'male god' and the male god ML's journey towards healing. With cute and lovable spiritual plants on the side. ❤

Not bad. A good short read. I was going to drop it (as I had felt that it was at a stage that seemed like a happy end) then I realised I only had 20 or so chapters to go so finished the rest. I like the plants, they're really cute. Also the relationship between MC and ML was quite sweet, happy for them and their family :') Tbh the plot wasnt very stimulating but I had kept going for the plants interactions haha they're a gem

Its pretty good. It a little bit weird at first because of the spiritual plants but it gets better. I really like papa xian here. He is really cute :3 and of course the over protective uncle, uncle long, their bickering season is always entertaining to read.

This is incredibly cute and sweet~ The highlight is the plants of course, I've never heard of harvestable magical plants with personalities and everything. Papa Xian is sooooo cute, I can just imagine its roots swaying happily and being pleased with its 'son' Su Ling (๑≧▽≦).

Otherwise I really liked our main CP, with our poor smelly baby Su Ling (MC) and friendless president Gu Liheng (ML). I'm satisfied that Su Ling did some good face-slapping and got the happy ending he deservedddd~

MC woke up in a strange room, worse he noticed that a stinky smell is coming from him. He realized that he got transmigrated into a side character in an ABO novel, so the stinky smell is actually his pheromone?! Moreover the original is supposed to be dead by su*cide, so MC decided to live to the fullest, not to mention he can meet his male god (idol) here. MC's male god, ML is a pitiful character in the novel, he's good, loyal & blameless, but because of an arranged... more>> marriage with obnoxious Omega, he lost his lives. MC determined to have ML for himself to save him and MC like ML anyway, so it's perfect.

Weirdly enough I feel that the writing style is more mature in the beginning and become more immature as the story progress?? The overall impression is immature writing style, the conflict is too easily solved, MC golden finger is too thick, it seemed that the author is a bit rushed to end the story. Still a pretty good read. <<less

Cute and lovely. Worthy of being praise. But the context need more thorough explanation. It's the fastest growing novel I've read and although it's good (not beat around the bush) it's still feel too short. If you skip a line, you gonna feel like you skip a whole chapter. Good luck to readers who like to skip lines like me XD

Cute novel, unique abo plot with spiritual plants involved which I thought was super cute btw I LOVE uncle Long and papa Xian. Healthy abo plots with no forcing is always welcome!

In terms of the drama and the plot, it had a good setup and the characters were adorable, except it was nothing special and just felt monotonous and rushed in the end.

Romance wise, I thought it started off really good with a proactive omega and a reluctant alpha, and it continues being good for 75% of the book and... more>> eventually ends up being bland with the plot.

4 stars for the characters, unique world (and the spiritual plants) and plot! <<less

I really enjoyed reading this novel. I think one of the best parts is that despite Su Ling being kind of an OP main character, he was not emotionless or too manipulative. Sometimes in novels with very smart/cunning MC's, they end up being too smart to be interesting. Everything always just goes their way with zero effort and the MC never has much emotions. Su Ling is a bit different because while most things do end up going his way, there are still moments where he feels obvious uncertainty and... more>> insecurity. He sometimes doubts himself, but keeps resolutely moving forward despite all that. It makes him a lot more relatable as a character even though he is still OP.

As for Gu Liheng, he's not just a crutch to support the OP MC. He has a unique background story, and although he may be mistaken as a cliche 'cold' ML at the beginning, he shows genuine care and warmth for Su Ling right from the start. Also, the synopsis of the novel may make some people have a misguided first impression of the ML.

Spoiler

Gu Liheng doesn't reject Su Ling because he's just some cold, unfeeling character. In reality, Gu Liheng feels things very deeply, and he often rejects Su Ling because of some deeply rooted insecurities and trauma from his childhood. He believes that there's no way he can make Su Ling happy.

[collapse]

As for ML's condition and the cause of it, I think my biggest pet peeve in this novel is related to Gu Liheng and his mother's role in his issues.

Spoiler

The reality is that ML's mother mentally and physically ab*sed him after her husband died. The novel tries to pretty it up by assigning a condition to it, pheromone rejection (basically, her bonded alpha died and her system when into chaos due to his sudden loss which made her very unstable), but it was ab*se, plain and simple. She was so obsessed with Gu Liheng being a perfect successor that she would scream at him or hit him if he disobeyed in the slightest. She wouldn't let him laugh, smile, or show expression or she would scream and cry and hit him. So, as an adult, ML literally has panic attacks if he accidentally shows emotion. It is really tragic, and yet his mother is forgiven way too easily. She never apologizes, never admits her mistake, and ML just forgives her. Honestly, this just did NOT sit right with me. What she did was awful, and no matter what fictional issue the author made up to explain her behavior, I cannot accept that she never had to truly atone for what she did.

[collapse]

While what's listed in the spoiler is kind of a major issue for me, I truly enjoyed the rest of the novel. What's so funny and unique is that the most prevalent side characters are the spiritual plants and they are absolutely amazing. I think the author was so clever with how they came up with the sentient spiritual plants. Papa Xian and Uncle Long are the absolute best, and they are one of the absolute highlights of this story.

There are a few plot holes or hanging plot points:

Spoiler

I thought it was funny how a major plot point was introduced at the end and glossed over in a couple paragraphs. We learn that the 3 grade A spiritual plants were gifted to Su Ling's mom by the literally emperor of another planet. And yet, we never learn anything more. We get that information, and then it never ever comes up again. Seemed like a pretty major information drop but nothing every happened with it. I found that odd and a bit out of place, but it was so brief that it was fairly easy to ignore. I just found it a bit odd.

[collapse]

Overall, this is a great read. Su Ling and Gu Liheng are super sweet together and have a relationship built on mutual respect and adoration. There is relatively little angst, but since the novel is fairly short it isn't boring. Additionally, a lot of the action takes place in a period of only 3 or 4 months so a lot happens in that time. So although the conflicts are brief, everything happens at a quick enough pace to keep everything interesting. I think the length was perfect for the plot of this story. We didn't get a bunch of long, dragged out misunderstandings that are common (and often frustrating) in longer novels.

I was also absolutely thrilled when we learned what happened to the original Su Ling's soul. He gets his happy ending as well, and he really really deserved to be happy after all the misfortune he suffered before swapping bodies. Knowing that he got to be happy was so sweet and heartwarming. This novel is definitely worth the read. <<less

I don't usually read abo stories but this one was nice. Though I think what carried the whole thing were the plants. The guardian plants were way more entertaining tbh. I wish there were also sentient plants here (I'd very much want to ask my plants a thing or two).

As for the leads, they were okay. I like that they have proper communication and talk to each other. And they're sweet and fluffy.

For side characters, a nice development for a few, specifically mama gu and Zhao qi. Glad they didn't... more>> stay as annoying characters.

A few things I somewhat dislike though:

  • Why there was no closure for the Su family? Unless I missed it?
  • Soooo... Gu An became a what? A hobo? An outcast? Disowned? Wish there was even just a tiny snippet what happened to them after.
  • Wish granpa qi was found earlier.
  • A little snippet with what happened to Zhao qi would've been nice too. Like show how he really changed his life.
  • Some characters felt like they just got thrown in because... reasons? (giant bear and that prince)

Loved it!!! The characters were locals and cute... the story was sweet and cute without any unnecessary drama and complications... I liked the design of the ABO world here as there is no discrimination against the omega... Also the main attractive point is the strong omega protagonist... Thanking the author and the translator for bringing this to us...

For ML, I have only praise, he's just an example to ideal lover, he seems a cold man, but actually he's so gentle.

The desenvolviment of story was really well, what surprising me a little, I wasn't expecting a novel so good as this one. It's been a while since a read a so good story :3 <<less

Starts okay but the more I read, the more I lost interest.

Didn't particularly like any character and started disliking them as I continued reading.

Finished it just because I had already read more than half of it by the time I wanted to drop it.
