A fairly sweet story, possessive and insecure host + accommodating system. The MC being the system was an interesting change of pace at first, but it became more like typical "quickly wear" novels as it went on. So not super original, but not boring, either.

This story is just good. One MC is super nice and kind, the other MC is psychopathic and crazy (due to life exp).

Perfect match made in heaven if you ask me.

Mini arcs are interesting and the ending is good and doesn't feel rushed.

Ghadddd this is just what I needed!

My Review:

The world hopping is hopping. Enough to make you want more even when the sun is peeking in your window. Although its the same xianxia, abo world, beastmen, etc. And any other concepts but it was able to deliver them perfectly. Every mission has its own twists that even tho you know the MC and ML are very powerful it is still engaging and not appear boring at all instead it keeps you on edge on why havent they reunited yettt! When will... more>> you find the otherr!

Impeccable pace. Ghadddd I have been impatient lately especially after reading some novels. Its either sooooo slow with its development that makes me impatient and drop it altogether or too fast that even not reading till the end makes it looks like it has already ended. Its giving 'enkkk whats the point'. And this?! This novel has just that Balance!! That makes my soul want to ascend to heaven. Yes! The pacing is that good! Combine it with my fav. Yandere seme and a not beytche pick-me uke, really makes me want to ascend to heaven.

Couple dynamics. Ghadddddd theyre perfect together! The MC with his righteous but not too much that it irks you is like the gentle morning light. The ML with my very own fav yandere flavor is like an ice cream in the summerrrr so cold! So cool! So reasonable! Theyre interaction is not the common hate-to-love coercion sheyt at all! Maybe I am too high after finishing this but compared to other novels that ive read, this here, are one of the most seamless transitioning romance ive ever had! No coercion! No dog blood! No betchie phases! No misunderstanding! Just aaaahhhhhh

True tags. Miiihhhhh the smut is smutt-ing!! The romance is romanc-ing!!! Ghadddd combine these tags with the right pace and the right dissemination of chapters, it is THE heaven on earth. These kind of novels makes me grateful to be alive damn!

Chapters. Number of chapters are very chef kiss not too much not too little. Ngl but with those amount of smuts and fluffs and fluffs and smuts and fluffs are already good enough that leaves me no more room for extras. I leave my case. I am well fed. I am satiated. Cravings satisfied! The verdict has passed!

Translation. The translators are the big wigs!!! They deserve all smuttiest smut there is! Although there are a lot of translators who picked the novel but I mainly read from RAAS and AFIE and dudeeee theyre translation!!! I! Could! Cry! Jewels! While having an eye-gasm truelly underrated! And even the other translator like the foxaholic in which ive read a few chapters from is also not bad at all! And dont even get me started with their clean sites! No irritating ads! No distraction! Reasonable fonts! Easy to read! Eyegasmmmmmmm!!!! <<less

I love this. Sue me.

I can go in depth about the characters or the plot or whatever makes this a cohesive story but truth be told, writing reviews that over analyze everything takes the enjoyment out of a novel for me. But I couldn’t also not write a review for one of my favorite novels. So I only want to talk about what I like.

They’re always together. Stuck like glue. Practically conjoined twins. Attached at the hip. Words can’t describe how much I love it when the pairing is always... more>> together and each and every moment is enjoyable. I love them together so much. Each interaction that brought them closer together warmed my heart and brought a smile to my face.

To me, the relationship never stagnated but I get how that’s the case for other people because I get that the whole getting together thing is so intense that the sweet honey moon stage seems to fall short of the prior passion. But to me I think it’s perfect, or my rose tinted glasses think it’s perfect..

I love the cold and blackened Qin Mo (ML), literally hitting all my criteria for like a cute mushy story.

Shi Qing (MC) Omg my baby girl you’re so cute and sweet and so brutally honest.

I see a few other reviews not liking the ending but I quite like it. I feel like it’s a perfect bow where everyone is happy, and in such a light hearted novel I think such a fairy tail ending is perfect and this book always makes me happy.

Of course, this will not be everyone’s cup of tea but I implore you to give it a try !!!

Imo the MTL isn’t that hard to read but I am experienced, so, good luck lol.

Just to throw it in, another novel really similar to this that I like a lot is Reborn into a Slash Game. If you really like this novel I highly recommend it!! <<less

Because of the great ratings and reviews, I tried reading this novel 3 times for the last few years, every time I stopped around chapter 55 and dropped it. My main issue is the MC who is super annoying with his point of view and inner thoughts. I don't think it's because of his silliness/brainlessness because I do specifically like many MCs who are naive and slow in other stories.

In one of the early chapters (before the beast arc), the author also admited that the readers had issues with the... more>> MC's personality and explained that ML wouldn't like a scheming character, thus they designed MC that way. Anyway, the author still decided to change it, which resulted in the MC having more presence and joining the ML in the worlds as a character. It backfired because the more MC got involved, the more put off I felt. I don't think I want to try reading the novel the 4th time. I gave it many chances than I should. <<less

I really liked the translation quality from what was done, so first off thank you translator!

I think it was an okay story, what I had in mind at the start set me with higher expectations compared to what it actually was. MC is not really a system, he does the tasks with ML but he's not issuing them, setting rewards etc like you would usually see in other novels with a system. The premise was good, I was just a little let down because I had really looked forward to... more>> seeing something from the systems perspective. (Think of "The Cub I've Raised is the Crown Prince of the Empire", I was hoping the MC would be similiar to the system from that novel.)

I liked the ML at the start, but I personally didn't pick up where he was falling in love with the MC. Yes, there would be times where we saw development because he would question himself in his thoughts, but prior to that I didn't actually SEE any change in his behaviour. Tbh, I feel like his character from the start of the story to the end were virtually the same, maybe it would've been nice to get some chapters dedicated to his POV throughout the story so we could understand what was going on in his mind a little more. I found as the story progressed, my favour towards him diminished as I saw little change in his interaction with MC.

MC had a lot of development in the way his views changed regarding same-s*x relationships, that was good to see. The MC didn't get on my nerves, but after reading through other reviews and looking back I will say he is quite passive. Throughout the story, sometimes MC will get the courage to voice his opinion on something and will be met with just something as simple as a "No" from the ML and he'll go okay! In that sense, he had no real depth to his character. It can get frustrating as ML has completely blackened due to all the trauma he has been through (I don't blame him, he's been thru it) and MC acknowledges hes a psychopath, but for some reasons MC is so set on this mindset that "No! He wouldn't do that for no reason, it must be because *some far fetched pure intention* Omg! He's making progress from being crazy!". Like, dude, just accept the man for who he is instead of making these scenarios in your head. To some, it's endearing, to me, it got old, real fast.

After completing the novel up to the latest translation, I decided to read the MTL to finish the story. Perhaps it's because at that point I decided I didn't like the story as much as I thought I did, but it was basically illegible. Unfortunately, It's much harder to get into a MTL when it's not a story you truly enjoy. All in all, I don't believe I'd recommend this story to others, it's basically a collection of the main couple going to different worlds together which, may suit your taste, but personally, it wasn't for me. I like brainless novels, but not to this extent. <<less

The idea is unique. MC is the golden finger (system) while ML is the host.

The misgiving for me is MC didn't felt like a system at all. It's like he was just operating it in someway because the one who gave the mission is not him and he also don't have any privilege at all. He is like a host who need to travel the world for points.

The next one is the worlds. Some world are too fast that I don't feel the world at all. Some world is too... more>> slow that all I read was inner dialogue. But some world is fine.

I love the character. The setting they have isn't unreasonable. There's a reason why ML is possessive and why MC is naive.

I like it but I don't know if I'll read it again. Maybe in the future. <<less

It’s great. I love that the protagonist in our case is the system and not the host. Usually it’s vice versa, so having a quick wear novel with a small twist was very welcoming.

The dynamic between MC and ML are funny and cute. The arcs aren’t mind blowing but they are still enjoyable to read. And the ending has to be the most satisfying ending to a (quick wear) novel I ever read.

The novel isn’t mind blowing or doesn’t do something entirely new with the quick wear trope but it... more>> does what it does pretty straightforward and well enough that I don’t mind ML being too OP or MC being your typical shoujo protagonist. Tbh there were never moments where I thought he is a hindrance or annoying. <<less

At chap 75 and truly a good QT novel! I don’t really prefer QT, but this is waaaay too engaging especially when they switch to the QT world and their own world. I like.

Also liking this crazy psycho. Waiting for more!

4 stars because romance is cute, sweet, and holds up well. The first 2/3 of the story progress at a good pace, but the last 1/3 plummets, the story accelerates and everything becomes confusing (it may be because of the MTL). From the arc in the world of Quin Mo there are few explanations and everything happens quickly, and even the final arc is What? Is that all? When did it end ?, the story would have ended more fluidly with 15 more chapters (for example: the exploration of the... more>> original world is null and non-existent, only a market, an association and a church are shown.). But the CP is so adorable, the way MC gradually and naturally accepts his feelings for ML is refreshing, plus MC is useful on many occasions, he doesn't just become a fragile ornament for ML's worship (except... in the final arcs cough cough), all the worlds feel coherent and developed, I especially enjoyed the personal dimensions arc with shotagong lol and there are good doses of smut throughout the novel. He highlighted Su Rui as a secondary character from the save disk mission, at first he seems like someone completely intolerant and manipulative but in reality he is a true unconditional friend, he appreciates his only two friends to death even if there are so many things about them that irritate him. <<less

At first, it's really hard to read this especially the 1st arc when MC and ML first doing the mission, MC reaction to ML's way of doing work is annoy me, he's anxious and nervous to death that I got really cringe and bored. But after 1st arc ended, MC gain more understanding about ML's behavior so it's really great! The way MC does thing as a system is understandable since he's anewbie system, moreover he's a spoiled teenager before he died. MC is not that dense at ML's feeling,... more>> he just..... always trying to dodge the topic of possible romance that's why it took you nearly 50 chapter to spit out love confession from MC. But it's okay, it's not like MC reject or hate ML's tofu that much. Basically MC is just a confused teenager that experience his 1st love haha.

Try to read this until chapter 10 (the end of arc 1) first! Trust me it's good! Every arc has a different length, sometimes only 5, 10, 15, 20, 17 and so on so it's unpredictable. Sometimes the mission is already completed but they didn't go out so we can't guess how many chapter/arc.

MC is cute, even though he's kind of naive but he's not! He's a bit..... chlidish? But has a determined and soft personality. He will panicked and anxious when things got wrong but quick to regain his composure. He's way of thinking is normal, not s*upidly following ML and not too genius. Just right. He's way of thinking is step by step, gaining clues, look at the situation, and searching for a solution, that's why I said normal.

ML is a yandere "you're mine so you must stay by my side or go but die" but still has a boundary, if MC starting to feel uncomfortable he will stop, if MC reject his tofu much he will stop. So..... as long as MC doesn't resist him.... haha

Why do the others put the ch as completed when it's not yet completely translated. I'm stuck at 61 since there are no new releases so far. 02/16/2020

All I can say is that, I think I have a thing with MC's who are obssessive. Like, a lot of BL that I read, 98% obessessive. Am not complaining nor I would like it to be in real life but the way the story goes. It's perfect for me. Love it.

Ok let's talk about characters. MC is not a Mary Sue type not cold beauty type, and it's a good thing. He's just adorable carefree system. So caring, a bit s*upid, always selling meng. And as always ML is a powerful and domineering guy, with facial paralysis (most time), super manipulative, AND super yandere...... in a good way. Why do I say in a good way? Well... there's no r*pey scene, no overdramatic bd*m/gore scene too. And MC doesn't mind to be possessed by ML, in fact he likes it. What a good boi, me likey~ (⊙v⊙)

The romance is actually pretty slow. The snu snu scene only happen late in the story, but don't worry~ ML is always eating MC's tofu from the beginning and MC is a submissive so yeah... the relationship is very harmonious.

Overall this is an enjoyable read, the current TL is good too (Kleep! You're the best!). And the most satisfying thing is the ending. Too sweet too sweet my heart hurts so bad *cough* oh well, this is a good novel. <<less

What a cute story. Just completed and I am tearing at last chapter. MC is not usually dumbo or badass but just simple normal person with funny thoughts. ML is black-bellied with obsessive tendencies but overall green flag.

I feel like crying after completing 😭 worth reading

I really wanted to like this novel and stuck with it till the end, but it is not as good as people rated it.

This novel is emphasizing on the "romance " part, so all the worlds an backgrounds are flat 2d. And the romance itself...I do not feel like it is love, this is stockhol syndrome! The ML is a psycho and keeps suppressing MC. He forces himself on MC and does not take a no. Later MC is brainwashing himself how good ML is to him and that... more>> he loves him. The writer did try to sugarcoat it with a fluffy panda outfit and cute MC.

To be honest, the 3 start rating is already a stretch. I felt so annoyed and angry throughout this novel and was waiting for some redemption that never came.

So no I would not recommend this novel. <<less

In general, it is not bad. I just wasn't hooked on the characters, and I feel that ML's relationship to MC is a bit far-fetched at this stage. I liked that MC is a System. He has a good personality, but he's not my protagonist at all. I felt awkward every time he talked and interacted with ML. Perhaps it's his character. I've read novels with similar MC and I liked it, but for some reason it doesn't work here (for me).

I also like ML and his background, but I... more>> don't like his attitude towards MC. At such early stages, everything seems to be fine, but I still feel uncomfortable.

You should try to read this if you like stories like this. It's probably just not my cup of tea, but if I'm in the mood, I'll still try to finish reading. <<less

A super quick quick-transmigration story. An arc can span over three chapters and then it is resolved with the protagonists only taking 5 days in the world to complete it.

While I enjoyed the story I did feel it was a bit rushed and ML fell for MC so fast. It was almost insta-love. MC on the other hand seemed stockholmed into loving the yandere ML.

Ending felt abrupt to me with no explaination whatsoever.

Author also writes that once they wrote that ML and MC were successfully together she didn’t know what... more>> to write anymore and I felt that as later arcs seemed utterly boring. Author also likes to infodump with no scene exposition.

While the story leaves a lot to be desired, it is a decent enough read.

My rating is 3 for the plot but 5 for the solid translation especially by Translating Tolerably who uses the cutest panda emojis. Average: 4 <<less

As someone who doesn't enjoy super long and drawn-out novels, this was absolutely perfect! Imo the MC is not overly oblivious and someone who despite failing to acknowledge his own attraction to the ML during the beginning, overcomes that hurdle quickly and actively reassures the ML multiple times their feelings. I find it super sweet that although the ML begins as overly emo and distant, he is able to bring a nice balance between his super possessiveness and love for the MC.

Both the ML and MC is overpowered asf without even realizing it. The ML comes from a high-level cultivation world where he was continuously hunted down because of how powerful his body was and eventually ends up betrayed by even his father who is a dark cultivator. He views the MC as his savior of sorts and is possessive from the beginning, continuously upgrading himself using the points that they earn to become overpowered. He's super smart and never fails at a mission, able to foresee any betrayal and surprise that comes his way. The MC, on the other hand, is revealed to hold a miraculous power within his system that is unparalleled by any other because he possesses God's Treasure. Basically, both are super strong and are able to achieve mission objectives without any difficulties.

Overall, a great light-hearted read that solely explores the relationship between the MC and ML with great albeit sudden world-building and the cutest ending!
