plotline 5/5

translation 100/5 - one of my fave translations. It was so easy to read and understand :) good job translator :))

this is the first gender bender story I've read and it was executed pretty well. Many people didn't like how the MC acted, but I thought it was pretty realistic and made sense. It's an excellent and worthwhile read:) I would probably read another of the author's books or any villain story from the translation site.

A good example of a well-done genderbender. The protagonist doesn't switch genders and immediately forget about it, never bringing it up again - it's a major point in the story and plays a big part.

Romance is also well done, with a well-likable love interest.

I saw this novel many times before as I was hesitant cuz of the genre but boy it was so good that I'm struggling now to find a good novel like this. I never expected that I would enjoy the novel when I started reading I wasn't expecting much really.

The MC didn't accept that he was a female right away which made his (or let's say her) interactions with ML more interesting and hilarious.

The ML is the typical perfect cold husband you could find in any other novel and that... more>> isn't necessarily true yes he is cold but he slowly begins to express his love to the MC in a considerate way. I was afraid of his unrequited love at first but things got better than I was expecting.

What I didn't like is that the author kept referring to the MC as a "he" and not a "she" since the MC was now a girl anyway which made me confused sometimes.

Overall this novel is that one you find when you are feeling bored so you will read it anyway but ends up with you completely attracted.

I'm not the type who writes reviews and expresses her thoughts but this novel is definitely a hidden gem so here is my first review ever. <<less

This is my first time reading a novel about genderbender and I might say it's good and quite enjoyable.

At first, when I read the flashback about the ML's first love (Ji girl) I was kinda worried? Disappointed? Because Ji girl and ML were already childhood friend, Ji girl has influenced and became a part of ML's life and whole identity.

But then, at the same time it was refreshing because most ML in chinese novel either already in love with the FL or will only fall in love with FL.

Anyways, it... more>> was a good story. It was written and translated amazingly. Also, I liked how the author create the MC, every actions MC did was in accordance to the fact that MC's mind and soul is a guy and grown up man.

MC didn't became too feminine which also fit MC's original orientation. Also, the ML's part isn't kind of cliché like overbearing one or super possessive. Although, I really want to see ML's reaction if he knew that the MC is a real guy. <<less

Really glad I chose to read this. It's my first gender bender book and it was great. I like that the guy didn't just become girly when the switch happened and worked his way through getting accustomed to an entirely new body and life while still keeping certain aspects of himself.

Pretty well done in my opinion. MC really grown on me as he had a bit of an identity crisis and on top of that he had a bit of a prejudice with the male lead. Though I'd say that there is actually no real antagonist rather small conflict here and there.

This story is basically not too complicated well maybe just a few. However what is lacking a bit is the side characters I suppose. But aside from that the growth and relationship of the two characters are wonderful. 4.5... more>> a recommended for me. <<less

Awful. After finishing the story I was left with this feeling of emptiness that I just can't describe what it is. As I was approaching to the end of the story, that feeling of not wanting it to end and hoping for more just won't disappear, but a story isn't a story if it doesn't ends.

I remember seeing this years ago when reading was one of my hobbies, I picked it up due to my curiosity and the good reviews. In my opinion, that decision was, if not, the best... more>> decision that I had ever taken.

Now I'm here again finished reading it after two days and since I forgot to leave a review back then, this is definitely one of the best novels out there that you can read. The story itself is funny, heartwarming, at times it can take you at the edge of your seat and I can only describe how the romantic relationship between the MC and ML develops as a flower blooming in the spring. Aside from the scenes in which I avoided reading, each and every chapter I thoroughly enjoyed reading.

There are only a few novels that I really appreciated reading with the amounts of LN that I have read throughout the years, and this is one of them. Reading it again still left me with that same feeling when I finished the story for the first time. I express my thanks to the author of this novel for writing such a good story as I really enjoyed this novel and I plan on reading this again but in the raw form.

I highly recommend to anyone to read this gem of a masterpiece. <<less

I just gave this a try and as I was reading this, I've realized that I already read this 2 years ago. I seem to discern that I appreciated and adored this more, than before.

I personally like how the author explains some of the viewers' rants, and I agree with her. Especially ... more>>

for me, going such length is really realistic and understandable.

I also love MC and ML so much. They are so likeable! They had their fair share of character development. Jokester. Lmao I almost had a laugh in most of the chaps because of Jian jian as never changes. A natural jokester and mood destroyer xD

The pacing, main story, side story, and even the ending --- for me it's perfect and I can't complain for more.

Although in my understanding, Jian was not able to tell his rebirth to ML, I think it's for the best. Or we the readers can just think of possible scenarios when it will happen.

Definitely recommended! No dog blood drama and uneccessary dragging of misunderstandings, hilarious to boot too!

A MUST READ NOVEL!!!

I'm actually not into gender bender type nor bxb love story. But of course, in this world, there's always an exception.

At first I want to find myself a fluff because after "I dont like this world, I only like you", no chinese book satisfies my hopeless romantic soul. Then I find this book and it has 4.6 ratings, so why don't give it a try?

This is too addicting. The first chapter already makes you laugh so hard and it gets more and more interesting. The male lead (who is as straight as pole but unfortunately always been rejected by a girl) turns into a woman. What worse is becoming a married woman, whose husband is his love rival😂

The strong point in this book is the character development both in Su Jian (our boy who is trapped in woman's body) and An YiZe. How Su Jian who is straight and loves women very much slowly accepting his condition and learn to love An Yize. But that doesn't mean he becomes gay. The book always shows that he's still there, he's still a man, he's still himself and once again, loves women. But Su Jian makes an exception for An Yize. He's willing to accept that he loves An Yize, not men, but only An Yize.

Before reading this book, be prepared of An Yize's sweet thought and act toward Su Jian. The boy is such a tsundere. But I warned you with Su Jian's hilarious thought and imagination. The boy could make a whole drama in his brain😂 <<less

9/10 this was literally the most amazing book ever!!! Every chapter was gold and couldn't stop laughing. The leads also so good. Loved it <3

yall even I was super hesistant to read this coz the FL is original a male nd I haven't tired or was in the mood to read a yaoi story and kept it for reading later but so regret not reading it earlier.

Hey there are a lot of good reviews but this novel is just not for me.

There are many weird things like 'I, your father! ' Or 'Your mom' and other refrence that I don't f*cking understand.

The story is interesting but those things just made it really annoying to read.

... more>> This is my first time reading a chinese novel, so maybe a lot of chinese novels had things like that written and if so then cn novels are just not for me.

I don't understand what the references mean, the references are too long and unnecessary, and it's just made it hard to read.

I just can't stand it.

If you're like me then don't bother reading this.

Really, I've read this one years ago and till this day this was one of my best and favorite romance novels. I even dare to say that it's probably the best male to female genre story that you could ever read. And the Romance is a progressive one with a sweet and fluffy tone to it. And it's actually quite charming and I really really love our main FL (or ml), like his personality is so funny and I still can't forget some of his lines that I took as... more>> an ongoing joke in my daily life till this day. I read this when I was quite young, but now I wanted to reread it again (which is quite rare since I never reread novels). Anyways don't worry about the gender bender tag beeing too forced or weird in any way, since it's not. And the situation with our fl' (ml) switching genders is kinda resolved in the end. Maybe, and his past and current family united together. So yeah it was a memorable journey to me reading this back then, and it's no wonder why it still has a very high rating after all of these years. Lol I feel really old now. <<less

I really enjoyed it! Actually, I was kind of surprised by how much I ended up liking it. I laughed a lot, and I teared up a lot (maybe I'm a crybaby)...

The comedic moments are plentiful and, while they sometimes ruin the romantic moments, it doesn't feel annoying. It's just the main character's personality, and I find it charming (and so does the male lead hee hee) ! There's a bit of light angst sprinkled throughout the story, but it's mostly very, very fluffy. Major plot events don't drag on... more>> painfully long, nor do they feel rushed.

The romance is a tiny bit slow but in a very pleasant way. The author's portrayal of the main character is realistic, I think! He's slow to realize his feelings, but it's only natural considering his situation. Overall, the novel is a well-paced soft love story.

The love rival aspect isn't all-consuming, and I think it's handled quite well. I especially liked that their retribution wasn't over-the-top and life-ruining. I often read quick transmigration novels, and the face-slapping in those is generally very harsh and sometimes feels excessive. But in this novel, her future hasn't been destroyed, she hasn't been tormented, and she can still go on with her life. The author seems to have really thought through the novel and was very reasonable. <<less

It's good, it's been awhile I have this happy feeling when reading, although im not fond of gender bender

I really really love lady su's character, the MC is what makes this novel enjoyable, I enjoy every chapter, and I feel sad everytime I read more chapter and it became less and less, it's light and fluffy, there's no s*upid drama, and the writer is amazing. The consistentcy of each character is really one of the best compared to other novel, the people in this novel are like real person,... more>> they have their own personality, and they are driven by their reasoning. That consistency stays from the start until the end of the novel.

This is truly the best josei novel i've ever read! Yes it's really really THAT good!, And you won't regret it <<less

I was a skeptic but am now a believer! My advice is to just enter in with an open mind; the story as a whole is generally very cute & hilarious. MC pretty much carries the novel with his one-liners & crazy assumptions. Some may find it frustrating how long it takes for him to admit his feelings, but I think the pace is pretty realistic for someone who suddenly swapped genders. Super cute story; would probably read again for the buns
