It reminds me of Stockholm Syndrome with how the MC was emotionally manipulated to feel all the negative emotions from her 'saviour' whenever she wants to leave. I hated how there's barely any plot progression other than bed scenes, memories of the past from various characters' point-of-view, and childish acts to paint the image of how the FL (poison doctor) did so many things just to get hurt by the MC's rejection.

Unlike the other person's review, this is a novel from the 'wife''s POV where she's the leader of a... more>> sect that was hated by both pugilists and despised by evil cults. They're just fighting and killing their enemies without having the brains to hide their operations, they even make public announcements before launching their revenge. No wonder they had many enemies. Totally not surprised. -_-

So, 2 years ago, the MC was heavily injured and poisoned by the Tang Sect. She lost her memories after falling on top of the FL who proceed to kick her when she was unconscious = her head hitting some rock. Somehow, they did the deed (yes, when the MC lost her identity and became heavily reliant on her). After regaining her memories, she left without a word after waiting for 3 days for the FL to return.

Then the plot comes to the FL saving her once again and using s*x as a replacement for 1, 000 gold (the "price" of saving her life). A phrase about 'a single night is worth a thousand gold' (春宵一刻值千金). Following that are the past flashbacks, acts to make the MC jealous or intentionally tying her up and tossing powder on her that will draw her nightmare - snakes.

At this point, I can't continue reading. My interest in the plot about the MC and the FL's missing masters was depleted by the charade of nonsense. <<less

Since there are no reviews, I will leave mine.

This story is not cultivation, but there are a small number of people who use Aura even though they are not strong.

The story doesn't have much plot, it's more about MC and FL with their fluffy moments and their action in bed (literally whenever they get the chance they do).

... more>> MC is mostly dominant, as far as FL is a Tsundere. There is not much drama whenever there are misunderstandings are resolved immediately with fluffy moments.

As for secondary couples there is not much to talk about since they are not mentioned so much and there is not much development.

The things I didn't like.

The ending is a meh, MC and FL fight against the sect of Mc's family to rescue their master, and after so many problems the sect was not so bad and only let them leave.

And also a secondary couple the master of the medical sect and a married woman who is pregnant and regrets everything divorces and goes with the master of the sect and gives birth to twins a girl and a boy, the boy is given to his father and the daughter stays with her. The husband was in love with her and although he knew that she did not feel the same yet I love her, and after she could devour her I still support her through tears. (The author said that he was going to release a sequel and the protagonists will be the twins, especially the daughter)
