Ning Su’s hair is soft, his skin is pale, his expression is slightly sluggish, his body is thin, and he is out of place in the crowd of passers-by.

He listened to the people around him discussing how to clear the level of this dungeon, and asked: “I survived the level, does it count as clearing the level?”

The people around looked at him like a fool: What a pity.

After entering the dungeon, Ning Su really started to live a life of his own.

If there is a gloomy skull on the castle, Ning Su will pick it up and make it into a night light to sleep beautifully.

The waterfall turned into blood, and he took the stew in a small milk pot, his eyes shining brightly.

Occasionally, he will also make small clothes for ghosts crawling on the ground.

Later, he really survived, the NPCs are sticky to him, the ghost master followed him and called him ‘mother’, and he still had the bloody heart of the flower god in his chest.

i love this story so much I wrote a really long review and novelupdates bugged when I posted it so it disappeared ㅠㅠ

from mc's parents to ml's mom who f*cking sacrificed herself so her son could be strong enough against the system - there's also guishen's mom or the player in "pretending to be a ghost" who would have given up if not for her daughter, which earned her mc's respect

fair warning tho, there's a lot of death, some bc of the system and some (the worst ones) bc of other players so I kept telling myself not to get attached to anyone, even npcs (ಥ﹏ಥ)

i really feel for the lesbian couple in the god of flower instance (forgot the name) who were so happy : ( (and bam! it's cannibalism time

also, my heart was about to stop when MC and ML learned that in the original timeline, fang qi willingly became a human pupa and zhu shuangshuang blamed herself for not checking up on him when she saw he didn't respond to her messages and I was like, wait, isn't that what's happening right now??

also, lmao at that level 6 instance (combined memory or smth) where like ~50 (of 100) survived and they were so happy bc it broke the previous record of 37 survivors in a level 6 instance... how deadly is a level 10 instance lmaoooo? and president shi and ning changfeng just went to one for a date like p l e a s e

but those side characters aren't all the same, they all have different aspirations and hope and I love it

like, some characters did bad things bc they truly didn't have other options so you can't really hate them for that and others were shitty but still

except xuewei, she's a bit*h an I don't care if her backstory is tragic, she deserves her ending lmao - tho I have to say, it is quite a sadistic one (which makes me weirdly proud of fang qi lol, especially after I saw what happened in the original timeline) and is strangely poetic in a way THO I HAVE TO SAY I was a bit frustrated with MC not dealing with her bc he wanted to let fang qi avenge his baby himself

my man, I know you know you can't help everyone and you want people to better themselves and get stronger on their own and blabla but I feel like xuewei is a bit more than just a random annoyance! really, getting rid of her is public service at this point

i only feel bad for her sister really, whose last words ("s*upid sister") weirdly touched me??

basically I thought it would be a silly comedy but it was actually a study on human nature who made me bawl lmao

i love the development of the MC particularly, he really grows as a person and if I could, i'd give him all the candies and chicken drumsticks I could : ( (so glad he went from numb (and after learning his backstory, more than fair) to actually caring about others and more lively and urghh the feeeels

also, I love that MC (and ml) have op powers (and for legitimate reasons!) but they can't (or won't for MC at first, but I can't really fault him after all he went through) for also legitimate reasons - just made me hate the system more lol <<less

Such a perfect novel where family and friends survive till the end.

I really like MC character, OP but not annoying, the author write him beautifully, it's the same for the ML!

At first I thought ning changfeng's the ML, and I instantly disliked it, not because he's a bad character, he just doesn't have the ML aura. I rather MC with gu witch than him 😂

The ending kinda rushed, also I read the MTL version so some stuff were understandable while the other don't. Not many extra chapter too bad, I... more>> really want to know their normal lives.

But I'm still very satisfied for the ending ^^ <<less

So good! The stories are all so good! Gruesome yet wholesome at the same time! I could not stop reading.... only to find out translation is not done. 😭 I told myself I will pause and wait for translation to be complete to continue... yet, I kept finding myself stalking the status page.... tempted to click on the next chapter...

Anyways! Give it a go guys! It's totally worth reading!

I want to keep it simple because long review would gave out many spoilers.

- Very intriguing, the instances have well written plots, the scenarios, the Npcs, emotional backstories, the dirtiest human emotions gets lay out in plain sight. Death in the games will happen in one wrong decision.

- MC has alot of plots story and is a character with alot of depth, comedic and serious side, he will never leave you bored, he also always the one that carries alot of emotions. ML is also amazing in his own... more>> way. Though he's too OP, he has interesting back story and cares alot about MC.

- Side characters are all amazing individually, you can't help hut like them for the way they are.

- The most rewarding thing is seeing bad people get what they deserve. The novel really delivers and won't let these people go unpunish

- Only down sides is near the end is abit anticlimactic, could've been longer I want to see more of MC showing off in the instances and games. Too short the novel is too short, because early instances takes 30 chapters +

Please come and read, I was addicted to the novel and couldn't stop reading 3 days straight. <<less

It's the first time for me to finish reading horror theme type with less sleeping time. Only if you have free time or you can control yourself. If not, you have less sleeping times like me🤣🤣

Both MC and characters are interesting and cute. Babies are the cutest. Every single story is worth reading.

Storyline will take you to the end without noticing. Bet you have to MTL.🤭

Really recommend this. Try reading if you like interesting storyline with horror theme

As for the third arc... while there was compelling circumstances, I found the premise and ongoing mission distasteful. The first two arcs fascinated me, but the third one was unnecessarily gory and convoluted. I like when deaths carry their own weight, and with the start of the third arc a few players were immediately slaughtered to show the cruelty of the world. The random selection takes away from the bus line's independence from the MC. Also I've caught on that much of the elements of a dungeon is atmospheric that genuine clues for the reader to follow along, I don't mind but it leaves the third arcs ending in a spontaneous state: beauty was chosen for taste, there is the original pool and cultivated pool, 'it's all in her head, ' etc.

I do like that he has a genuine connection with the bus line, and how can independently come to their own conclusions without the MC.

At the time of chapter 80, I would give this work 4 stars

I read those chapters in one gulp. Interesting dungeons and riddles that you can really think about and they do not have extremely specific features, because of which only the main character can solve the problem. There are a lot of good and relatively memorable minor characters, including female ones. There is practically no s*upid cannon fodder, and what was even remotely understandable. Cute ghost kids that I really like, although I'm not usually a fan of the... more>> main character's kids. To be honest, I don't really care about ML right now, although there were some omens about him from the very beginning, they can be understood after the arch in which he first appears.

Let's see how the actions will unfold further, I will not put an assessment yet. At the moment, none of the worlds disappointed me and interest in them didn't drop.

I also really like the MC's relationship with his children and friends, but most of all with his

father, Ning Changfeng. Ning's older brother's reaction to being Mc's father really touched my heart.

People have complained about the character of the MC, but he completely suits me. Ning Su doesn't worry too much about others, but he's not indifferent at all, he helped people, but not excessively, and if someone asked him something, he mostly answered. He is quite detached, but not completely indifferent and not indifferently cruel.

This is a rather interesting personality and it corresponds to the image of the MC and his backstory, which we collect over time.

However, despite all of the above, you shouldn't expect any incredible depth or development of characters and their personalities from this work - if this happens, it is quite insignificant. The characters do not change and are quite static, but despite this they are relatively interesting.

The dungeon worlds are definitely the best part of the story, like the first child of the main character, the second child didn't catch my eye, but they are also worthy of attention.

Unlike most similar stories, thanks to the secondary and third-rate characters, the players do not seem to be an empty crowd and ordinary cannon fodder, and there is no feeling that the only real characters are the main character and someone from his entourage.

The stories are not super creepy, but they are quite filled, with terrifying and just unpleasant things that happen and that are interesting to watch, or that you can feel.

Changed: at the time of chapter 96, ML seems quite nice to me, and ML's interaction with MC's father, who is unaware of anything, is very funny to read. Love it <<less

more people should read this cuz I want faster updates. Its f*cking amazing Im telling ya and I only like 1 in every 40 CN I read. BTW the ML only appears around chapter 73 but its actually pretty great by itself plotwise, like Im normally a ROMANCE ONLY type of person but the past 70 chapters were great and it didnt make me feel like "Ugh when will the ML appear" but when the ML did appear I wasnt too "OMGFINALLY" or "WHATWHYNOW?!" it was a okay feeling ig,... more>> their relationship as Im reading rn is still developing so I have no opinions abt it yet. Every arc ending was honestly SATISFYING like it didnt make me feel "awww... thats all?" or "That was too long". Also LOVE how he collects them kids like pokemons. Also the plot twist was kinda un expected.

f*ck Im telling I cried so hard when the little strawman died, I BAWLLED my eyes out, like I get it the owner was a bit of an ass BUT HE ACTUALLY CARES FOR HIM!! I was so upset. Im not actually reviewing as you can tell, Im just venting. <<less

Edit to add: Phew, seems like he's not and how did I never consider that as their relationship, considering they have the same last name. 2nd edit: Rereading, I don't find him quite as annoying as I did the first time for some reason.

A great UF novel honestly, The story was nice, the instances were perfect for me, not too long or too short, and has enough world-building. Although the story was not as exhilarating as the more popular UF novel says the GHG or Nightmare Live, I believe the story did not lean toward that as the MC was portrayed to be not too ambitious as per the other UF novel. Still 5-star.

And also the ML surname is Ling, and he appears quite in the middle of the story. So no the ML, not the 1st rank or other, even though the surname Ning kinda has that ML vibes but nah he is not, he is the MC dad.

good plot, interesting dungeons and filled with impactful scenarios. Quite a lot of hard to accept ‘worlds”, especially when thinking things like those horror scenarios probably happen (minus the supernatural parts I guess, humans really are nasty creatures at times). I found even the time traveling was explained okay, with the possible future becoming an alternative line of sorts, the take on the system was pretty good too (would have loved to find out where it came from but the hints were there if you look for them- especially... more>> one of the last- only mentioned - dungeons). By the end of this book probably all characters need therapy- ghosts included- and my brain may need some soothing music too to stop thinking. <<less
