I’ve never liked slice-of-life type stuff before whatsoever, but this book is really refreshingly light and warm-hearted. The pace is great, it’s hilarious even through the translations, and the characters are very thought out.

It’s a joy to read every chapter. I’m only on ch.95 but I can’t see this getting ruined because I have full trust in the author!

The short ver: No regrets here. I love how very very real the characters are thanks to the author generously sprinkling personality into the characters.

Cheng ge and Gu fei are an unlikely match but slowly become the stable support the other is looking for when they find themselves being closed in on by the gloom of the decrepit town they're living in. Gang fights, run down towns and a straight A student that's been forced into a school that doesn't take education seriously.

I've only read like 2 chapters of this story.

I will say I am absolutely loving the dialogue between the characters. They are fluid and feels natural between them. Their interaction is also good and I already can feel how the surroundings around our MC is feeling.

Sadly I know I'm right now not in the mood for a tearjerker. I won't be dropping this story. But I will have to return to it later.

I read this, and I loved it :) !!! I'm still looking forward to reading all of it in English. I like the relationship and dynamic of the story between our OTP. It's getting to the interesting part, and I will be patiently waiting for it.

One of the best danmei novels I have ever read. I've been putting this novel on my TBR list, I should have read it sooner cause it was SO GOOD.

Saye is such a beautiful and heartwarming novel. As a historical danmei novel fan, I never knew how refreshing a slice of life could be. I was constantly hooked on it and didn’t want to stop reading. Gu Fei and Jiang Cheng’s relationship is so realistic and precious. Gu Miao really impacted me as well, I love her so much. I don’t think any other danmei novel that I will read in the future can top SaYe.

What is a book if it doesn't evoke a sense of pure elation within you that makes you forget about reality...

SaYe is a master piece and that's all I can say. From the way it's written to how each character welcomes you into their world, it is an immersive experience filled with warmth, pain, and just a whole lot of wholesomeness.

This became one of my all time favorite novels and that fact really caught me off guard.

I used to love reading school life stories at one point when I was younger. But slowly, I realized that such stories started feeling more and more childish as I grew older. Slow burnnnnn LOVE... the story is not only about finding love but friendship, self acceptance, and self improvement. It's a beautiful story. MC and ML started out as two trouble kids with messed up family and little to no support at home. They grew closer everyday finding trust, support, and love through each other comfort. This has been a heartwarming ride. I went into it not expecting anything and I was blown out of my mind.

The characterization, the relationships that feel real as though it could be of someone living next to you.

The two main characters really showed how a true, honest and selfless relationship can bring about growth and even make you atleast be level headed no matter where you are.

I stumbled upon this novel by chance. Have a headache ride with it cause I don't know how this 2 children with their heavy problems can have their happy ending.

I don't like violent but when all the environment the characters are in is this hell of a place I'm grateful GuFei has the ability to fend for himself.

GuFei is a miracle, born in a family of violent father, irresponsible mother, almost autism little sister, He still can grow into a fine young man who do his own thing properly.

Friggin love this book. The characters, the plot, the style, everything! Thank you WuZhe for creating this masterpiece and thank you to the translators for working hard and doing god's work. I'm so thankful I found this novel.

A must-read story. Not bcs of its plot twist or anything special. It’s just make me feel so sòt and deep, and I wanna cry.

It has given me more motivation in my non-sense life I suppose. Though you may not be interested in that plot, the writing style of Wu Zhe won’t disappoint you

Actually when I first read the summary, I am reluctant to read it since it will not give details and juicy info to read it but I don't know when I saw the graphics I was hook. I am in like chapter 30 when I realized that the translation is still not finish and I'm so devastated because I'm so invested na in... more>> the story and I still don't know MTL that time.

Then I reread it this time around using MTL in the remaining parts wherein English translation is still not available.

My experience in reading this is so emotional, I feel in love with the characters and right now I'm having separation anxiety and missing them badly.

I'm currently looking for novels to read but SAYE is still the one for me huhuhuhuhu.

If you say that 150 chapters is so long then you will be wishing that it will have more chapters after reading this.

I promise myself that I will reread it once the translation is done.

Really love this story, so far different than what I used to read, for me reading this was refreshing and new experience, love MC and ml. Grate novel.

Very intense and interesting startup. School Tyrant and top student story. Tyrant has heavy family responsibility while top student becomes orphans after abandoned by foster parents. Encouraging story with character glowing steady. But after ch 100+, a bit boring. Overall, not bad to read.

Now don't get me wrong, it was really wholesome and nice but...
