this was a comment of mine on the novel, but I'm gonna use it as a review anyway. Usually, CN novels or manhuas would create unnecessary drama, irrational MCs, or drag it on with needless fillers, but this one is just right. It pulls at the heartstrings, it’s realistic, and you can’t help but love the characters ❤ I definitely recommend this 100/10! Definitely one of the best CN romance novels with a manhua out there!

I watched the drama and I was left speechless, like where can you get a man like jiaxu?! He was everything that a woman would fall for! Even if you are a gold digger of a woman or a whore! Wow! Crush to Lover to Spouse, an awesome transition to go through. Characters are well built throughout the story. Sang Zhi is not the usual one as portrayed in many Chinese stories, but a strong one to stand beside Duan Jiao Xu.

Brother Sister relationship of Sang siblings triggered a lot of childhood memories which were just Sweet as Heaven.

A very beautiful story!!

Sometimes I felt FL is too pitiful but later realised that it's ML who deserves her love.

The MC is cute, she HAS personality, she works for her goals (the ML. Don't try to give up on reading it! Yes, there are novels where the MC gives up everything for the ML, but here they don't do that. First of all, none of them is super rich or an inheritor of an inheritance, so "No.", there is no domineering CEO here, at most a shamelessly charming ML.)

This was surprisingly real. Sometimes there are parts that one could skip, but it makes the next chapters better to read, so I wouldn't recommend to skip those chapters. Learn some patience kids, there are so many good novels, but so slow updates.😁

The translation wasn't unbearable, it was like an MTL, but much better, but still not the best. This is just my crooked opinion (I had read so much that I'm ruined forever.🙂)

I love this story but I still couldn't give this story 5 stars because:

Kinda hard to read, sometimes even the names are translated wrongly, and there are lots of time where translator mistakenly put 'him' as 'her' vice-versa; But I perservered through the whole thing just because the story is way too interesting and the MC is way too loveable. Didn't regret my decision, I feel so fulfilled after finishing this story.

Beside the fact that it follows the standard tropes of Chinese novels (the main characters are the prettiest, smartest and nicest people around), the story is lovely and has quite a new touch. If only the translation wasn't that bad.

THE BEST romance CN I've ever read. It's beautiful and heartwarming. The relationship of the siblings is hilarious as well. Both Sang Zhi and her brother are so funny.

The only problem is the translation. It's a bit wacky but it's still understandable.

I feel like this is the best CN modern I have read right now.

The ML is top quality, he is just like my ideal type. And FL is the best FL I have seen in CN novels. She is confident, savage and doesn’t waver in her decision.

Also love the relationship between FL and her brother and his square group friends. Overall, this was probably the best Novel I read. I will come and read this again, when I completely forget the plot TwT

The best thing about this is the female lead I particularly enjoyed the who one sided crush aspect of the story when she was young cause she is female lead who actually has some character does a good job of showing her character through the story rather than repeatedly telling me. So it is interesting to explore the feelings of a crus through her.

The male lead is definitely one you feel you have seen in some cnovel or the other, though the author establishes he never had any feeling... more>> for our female lead when they were young, but his liking for her starts almost as soon as they meet again so I feel like you should skip if stuff like this easily triggers you.

An absolutely amazing read. To be honest, the translation quality is a mess, but the story itself pushes me to give it a 4.8 star rating (but I'll round it up to 5). Try it out and you might not disagree with me.

The story, as most reviews agree, is very realistic which makes it very easy to absorb yourself into. No fantasy or diabolical plot-twists but more of a relatable scenario.

I like how the story tarted and how it ended, there was never a dull moment while reading this book. There's a lot of fluffy moment and there are parts that I wanted to cry, I just simply feel their struggles in life so real. Another unique story to read one of my favorite.

Every character is perfect. The FL is sassy, smart, and she always gives funny excuses. The ML is such a gentle and shameless. I also love every interaction between the FL, her brother, and her brother's friends.
