Tang Han Qiu is the daughter of a business giant and is controlled by an invisible force, forcing her to become an evil female supporting character, constantly chasing after the male lead who she particularly despised, constantly tripping the innocent female lead, using every means and effort to become disgusting and annoying.

In this regard, she said to herself: I can’t stand it anymore, let me go, thank you.

Then she was reborn, not only reborn, the power that controlled her also disappeared – she could control her body!

– Male lead? Sorry, I don’t like this s*upid man. Get lost immediately, thank you.

– Female lead? Sorry… Wait! How come the female lead is different?

Now the current prosperous main heroine – the superstar Yu Ru Bing sat opposite her, smiling like a flower while looking at her.

“President Tang, would you consider keeping me?”

“The price is not expensive, a piece of candy is enough.”

•Yu Ru Bing’s Perspective•

Yu Ru Bing inexplicably transmigrated into the female lead and was mysteriously tied to a system.

Then she gloriously became the most rebellious and beloved host.

Not only did she refuse to cooperate with the system to do tasks to make Tang Han Qiu turn back into a vicious female supporting character, but she was also keen to troll the system, and hates the system.

As long as she can drive the system despondent, then she’ll be happy.

In order to be happy, the female lead in the presence of the female supporting character Tang Han Qiu became a career fan, committed to making Tang Han Qiu better and better.

The system was so angry, it couldn’t stop her, and every day it was in a despondent state.

It’s just Yu Ru Bing, this career fan, this front has deteriorated.

– She became Tang Han Qiu’s wife fan.

I've tried multiple times to finish this novel, but I just couldn't.

It never grabbed my attention and trying to read through this felt like pulling teeth, I had to remind myself to focus just to continue reading. I don't know if it's the translation, but lord, this novel exhausted me lol.

It's sweet and don't get me wrong, it's a solid novel. The MC and the FL were well-developed (not surprising since this is from the same author as Outrageous) and I did enjoy their respective plots. But, I don't know,... more>> genuinely I am so baffled that I didn't enjoy this, considering that so many people did judging from their reviews.

Maybe one day, I'll give it another try because it is one of the first baihe novels I've read, but right now, it's a meh for me. Try it out for yourself though, I mean it is popular for a reason. <<less

I'm 1/3rd of the way through this novel. I just... feel like I need to leave a review now because I may not be finishing this - OR it's going to take me a long time to get through it. -_-"

The translation is so rough! However, the plot (or what I thought was the plot) drew me in: Tang Hang Qiu (THQ) frees herself from being a system-controlled-puppet that made her into a villainess of a plot that favors the male and female lead, goes back in time in the... more>> story to when she first meets the Yu Ru Bing (YRB, the female protagonist), and changes her own life path now that she is free from control - and the first thing she does is gets rid of the scummy male lead (this is pretty much the first 2 chapters, so it's not really a spoiler). YRB in this new timeline is also not the weak, bullied, kind-hearted YRB that used to be the female protagonist of the story, because she's a YRB from some alternate universe forced into the body of the original YRB to correct the plot so that it goes back on track - and this YRB is tough, mean, and only has eyes for THQ. The male lead, who every girl loves and fawns over, including the original weak YRB and puppet THQ, never appreciated THQ prior to her being controlled. So he's now confused since this THQ is no longer a puppet forced to grovel and beg at his feet - thus, has a change of heart and starts to want her back - but NO ONE is interested in him anymore (so satisfying to say this) ! Sounds interesting, right? Sounds like a satisfying read, right?

Unfortunately, things didn't go accordingly. The plot seems to be changing all the time. What I thought was going to be, doesn't get to where it needs to go.

There ARE a lot of satisfying moments though. Some of the best parts are due to YRB's unpredictable behavior, so I'm constantly caught off guard in some hilarious ways (a lot of feel-good smiles and chuckle moments, but no actual laugh-out-loud stuff for me). So, it IS a fun read. YRB sort of embodies what the audience thinks, except YRB, like a child with little to no inhibition, acts on it in some of the best ways. So it's satisfying, to say the least. And a lot of times, just when I'm about to get tired of a subject, the author concludes it and moves on to an interesting one. Considering the long read, I'm grateful for that. However, some areas of the story overstays its welcome. A lot.

The things I don't like about this story though, is what's keeping me from finishing the story. Such as the drawn out chapters. I get that writers get paid this way - the more they write, the more they continue getting paid. But when a chapter ends, I expected it to move on in the next chapter to a different subject or different thought or different scene or different ANYTHING. Instead, the next chapter is a continuation of the same moment. So a lot of times, I feel tired of reading about the same idea over several chapters. Like, I got the picture about 2000 words ago - let's move on please.

The other thing is that it's too pure, too innocent, too unrealistic at certain parts. I am by no means looking for mature content (I do know what genre this is), but some things defy logic at the very basic. It's just mind-blowing how anyone could think that because they're both girls, that it's okay to do some of the things they do. The dumbest thing is that it's how they convince themselves of this. "We're both girls! So it's okay!" Several times in this story. What? -_-". No. It sounds like a lazy way to move the plot along... which at this point, the plot is no longer entirely what it was that I had written above - at least, not 1/3rd of the way through. The other thing I found too pure were THQ's family (aside from the youngest bro). Doting families are great, but they accepted THQ's choices too easily. The author took the damn time to write out every little moment and every little miniscule gesture, but they just wanted to gloss over the hurdle of same-s*x acceptance? There was amazingly zero resistance. It's not that I want to read about it or anything, but it just made no sense at all to me. (sorry if this was a spoiler, but I didn't think it was, since it's not part of the plot and had zero effect on the story). The unrealistic parts make me wanna just shut it all off. lol. Keep in mind though, I'm only 1/3rd of the way... which is probably 13-15 hours.

I dig the second couple though. I think at this point, it's why I keep reading this. I'm hoping they get a bigger part as I read. It's very little of them, but it had already hooked me in. I'm rooting for them! <<less

Read this years ago and just read this again. It's as funny as I remembered it and it's not too serious. FL really is worthy of her title and MC is also very good. Enjoyed the main couple. The side couples are ok. Overall, very good.

Really good. Well paced, great characters, a fun and mostly lighthearted plotline, and plenty of hilarious interactions. This is one of the better stories I have read. This is just a genuinely enjoyable read with no real weak points unless you want to get super pedantic and nitpicky.

Couldn't wait but to say a piece anymore, MC is portrayed as a strong individual that broke away from the system and yet she is seemingly holding back still and going easy on her mortal enemy (bastard ML). She is also quite open and said bastard ML can seemingly easily approach her still, even within her own company.

The other MC is also more or less the same, so many openings yet seemingly supposed to be ever do strong but bold.

Bastard ML pretty much still gets off quite easy and still... more>> have his way.

Otherwise, fairly interesting thus far but it really gets ruined when MCs are being contradictory and full of plot holes.

Oh, seems like it runs in the Main MCs family. Deceivingly strong and stubborn, or plot convenient really. Not sure about the other MCs fam.

The amount of plot holes and the times the MCs pretty much presented themselves to be in danger or so is just staggering, to say the least. MCs were supposed to be strong, bold, smart! Whilst the bastard ML only really has his face. But then MCs gets into trouble with the Bastard ML so much, saying we'll get you next time for sure! Something along those lines. Then afterwards, don't really do much and just wait till the next trouble props up, only then will they get started on dealing with the bastard ML again. This was just frustrating whenever it happens. Plus the other supposedly good and strong girls that ends up becoming zombies that are just hungry for handsome faces. EW.

In hindsight, really gross and horrid from quite early on. <<less

Not sure why people overhype this with so many 5-star reviews when:

The story is all over the place, the side characters don't put much effort into enriching the main couple.

Filler side couple that don't really matter in the plot.

... more>> The male lead and former system barely gave them any trouble.

The main antagonist was BARELY mentioned in what, less than 5 chapters over 150? And then it all ended in an anti climactic way 3/4 of the story.

But instead of ending it there, the author continues, and focuses on another new side couple that doesn't really matter any more, because the main couple already got together ages ago. Although if they wrote them BEFORE the (not) ending, they would've mattered more (because their plot actually fits the main couple) than the other side couple who don't have a purpose at all.

One of the only time I felt something when reading through the story was when the protagonist got mad because it made her trolling much more impactful. Otherwise, she was just so cringe that the other characters can't deal with her. It makes it such an awkward interaction that I got annoyed by her every time. I read through the story thinking her interactions would get better, but it did not. The author doesn't make this into a con personality trait that the character needs to work on, but leaves it as is. Mind boggling since they wrote her with a back story about her trolling that would have been a good enough start to her development. Instead they just used it for something else. What a waste.

Another time, I felt dread at the fact the protagonist could have been completely controlled by the system, but the author godfixed it so fast, that it didn't even reach a full chapter. Like, why bother.

The story did not have any impact to me emotionally other than that. 176 chapters and I can't even be bothered to finish this. <<less

I loved this novel and have reread it 3 times so far!

However, I would say the flaw, like many other reviewers mentioned, would be the slow burn of the romance. But when it gets going, everything just becomes funnier as the relationship adds another layer to the humor that the story has from as early as chapter 1.

I would say that humor is subjective, but I personally found this novel to be hilarious. Every time I read a new chapter, I knew I would have something new to laugh about.

One... more>> thing I appreciated the author doing was
Spoiler

having Tang Han Qiu and Yu Ru Bing work together to resist the system, which really did help both develop the relationship and sell me on why the on-paper relationship of CEO and budding idol would work.

Oh wow. This novel is like the epitome of what strong female characters in GL novels should be. Both Yu-Bu-Ru-Bing and Tan-Han-Qiu are amazing in their own way. And I couldn't stop laughing at at all in several places.

I would vote this probably Top-5 of all time in this genre. What a ride it was.

And kudos to the translator!! Excellent stuff, keep it up.

waiting to see THQ and YRB get a webtoon adaptaaaation! I mean, this one's real good! I love the two of them and they're actually two of the very few names I can remember even after reading the last chapter (i mean, some Asian names are really hard to remember lmao). Tho that only means that the two of them are unforgettable! This is totally worth it! Would love to see more well-written books like this!

Tang Han Qiu is BEAUTIFUL and our protagonist (Yu Ru Bing) is her simp. I love it. I want myself a Teng Han Qiu too!! YRB can be quite annoying at times but I put up with it because of THQ. The way YRB is most times I would unintentionally imagined her as an ugly older woman - lacking in appearance but makes up for it in humor lmao.

one thing to note- their romance is slowwwwwww -

This book is okay, but that's about all I can say about it. If you like the MCs brand of humour then It will probably be quite good but if you don't like it she can get on your nerves at times. The setting and characters are pretty good and there isn't anything implicitly wrong so far except for the MCs humour and that because of it the romance that you can pretty much see from the start is agonisingly slow.

Update, I enjoyed Outrageous so much I decided to give... more>> this another go. I have to say it gets better for me after I get past a certain point. The FL is amazing which was one of the reasons I gave the book a chance but one of my new favorite characters is 008. <<less

Transmigrator x Reincarnator entertainment industry baihe, with an absolutely wild and hilarious protagonist. Another entrant in the 'evil System; files (although it's more the ruler of the System that's evil). From the same author as Outrageous, and very obviously written first, since the writing and plot's not as tight as Outrageous. It was still a lot of fun.

such as the multiple times when they were recording together for a show, but ended up staying in their hotel room, one was working and the other surfing the web, and neither of them were talking but the netizens couldn’t get enough of it...

I myself thought it was so boring with just my imagination of the scene alone. And yet, the author reused the same material several times during the whole series.

While there were flaws, there were also interesting and hilarious moments embedded throughout the novel. I enjoyed the arc in which YRB fought with the mastermind behind the system. The arc, on one hand, showed that regrets could be used against someone as their weakness and trapped them in the timeline they were at their happiest. It depends entirely on one’s mentality to escape those past regrets and mistakes to live better in the present. On the other hand, it showed just how detrimental it is to society and the world when an incapable, envious, narrow-minded, and dictatorial individual was the leader – People suffer. Period.

The novel is hilarious, entertaining, and worth reading. <<less

Calling this a parody of a Shoujo is an understatement. All the girls realise that chafing a cheating womanisee is s*upid. The villainmes and THE heroine join forces to defeat the system which forced to enact the "scenario" against their will.o Bth are not interested in the shoujo tropes and this is heavily woman centred (aka blatantly feminist).

The orginal heroine' was kicked out when she was 14 because they got a son and didn't want a girl because of the usual Asian mindset. Bu*t they aren't shy about asking money from her which the orginal gave when they used "I raised you" card even touch they gave zero support to her and she is working her way through college. The villainmes father is also worried about her starting a business suve he sat how much his wife suffered because of the rampant sexism. The villainmes sister' in law parents were also of the same opinions as Heroines parents and were only planning to Marry her off. The SIL wanted to start a business of hers without anyone's help even her husband who belongs to one of the richest families (Rhe villainess family). So she keep her marriage a secret).T

The writing is blatant pro woman and Anti Shoujo romance tropes. They aren't man Haters. The villainess is Close to her brother and her father. The brother of the male lead is rhe highest simp for the Yu x Tang CP. <<less

I can quite comfortably say this is my favorite Baihe novel to date. The romance is a bit slow (slightly slower than I would like but I think the reasons for this are justified) but it makes up for it with a good story, funny moments, fun flirty moments, and a lot of dog food in the final segment.

The story is written a tad different for the usual, with the main angst component finishing around the 3/4 mark, leaving a lot of chapters to flush out the wife, father ;)... more>> and career fan storylines.

Definitely recommend reading the novel as well as the other novels by the author. <<less

I read this quite a while ago. And re-read it. And read it again. Let's just say I really liked it

Tang Han Qiu, our "villainess", breaks free from the shackles of the system and wants to live an independent life. She's intelligent, cold, and ruthless but those abilities were suppressed by the system in her previous life. Now she just wants to live free and hopes that with the chains gone she won't have to worry.

Yu Ru Bing, or Yu Bu Ru Bing if you prefer, is hilarious and deserving... more>> of the title Archimedes the iron-bar-salted-fish. She's brought in to deal with the "bug" of THQ by the system. What the system didn't count on is that YRB is the world's foremost expert in trolling and frustrating anyone she disagrees with. And YRB especially disagrees with a system that wants to control someone else's life. Expect many moments of laughter when YRB makes the system or the people around her suffer her iron-bar.

Ultimately this author likes to play with fate and autonomy in their stories. They subvert the trope of system novels and turn things on their heads in well written ways. Just like Outrageous the author succeeds here in writing a wonderful story of overcoming fate and falling in love. Plus it's yuri! <<less

By the same Author of Outragous, a novel I loved reading.

This novel is a gem. The comedy, the drama, the storytelling is all on point.

The Protagonists is both lovely and interesting. They both got their baggage and emotional scars.

... more>> Tang Han Qiu may give the impression of being a confident, dominant and serious CEO. However she's actually a quite kind person and has other sides left to be discovered as the readers makes their way through the novel. (I loved the process of digging through her personality).

Yu Ru Bing (the FL, not the original) is a delight, she's a wonderful mixed bag of flaws and excellence. (I dont want to spoil anything, but she's the comedy engine for the most part so far).

What I love about Yu Ru Bing is her principles and how far she's willing to go to stay true to what she believes is right.

Both characters has traumaemotional scars to deal with aswell.

Anyways: Is it worth reading? Hell yes!, it's a delight so far and from the other reviews it gets only better.

Edit: Completed. Yep its good. Real good. Some of the side characters is <3

The humor is completely lost on me. It gets quite a bit annoying also the MC mentions her fan club membership at every turn. Like I know she is doing it intentionally to mess with the system but it is so excessive that I don't feel like this world is real. That's actually the biggest problem. The setting feels very fake like people are still in the Matrix and only two people have figured it out and no one truly acts the way they should.

A lot of things feel lost... more>> in translation unfortunately especially with the way characters talk to one another. No one actually considers the MC might be mentally insane with how she changes her attitude every 5 min at the flip of a switch?!?? It doesn't make any sense. In chapter 157 spoiler:

Spoiler

I'll be honest, from 008's memories, it sounds like the second generation (the Goddess) mu*dered the first generation (big sister) so that she can take over. It's so sad because the first generation brought a dirty kid in (the first generation) and let herself be tricked. If only she didn't bring in this evil child. Now the evil child mu*dered her and replaced everyone's (the agents') chips so they have no free will and can only be forced to do her bidding.
