im really glad I read this novel but I would no reread it but I give this 5 stars but not worth rereading the MC and ML are the protagonist while the FML lead is the the tribe I like the FML while I dont like how the protagonist treats the FML just like someone sed in the comments the tribe feels more like workers the whole story while the MC is not even the manager he is more like ceo rich son who shows up once in a while... more>> with a sports car and be like see what I have nomal workers <<less

If you are looking for a light read, take a break from all the heavy stuff, this is the novel for you.

There is little to no drama in this, especially since MC is quite OP and the ML even more OP. But it is still an enjoyable read, even though it's set in the prehistoric era.

Just give it a go. If you love drama and angst, look elsewhere, this ain't that kind of novel. Only feel good stuff here.

Me being dumbo didn't read the description of the story so I did NOT know that Zhou zhou is the ML, I thought it was that BEACHY Shi li, cuz the Xiong He and him is past lovers and when I realized it I was literally jumping and screaming and my sister is looking at me weirdly.. 5/5 my wish came true Zhou zhou is the male lead like I literally wanna scream at the author 'why the pack is Zhou zhou not the ml?' and Thank Pack HE IS THE ML

For those who didn't know or completely ignored the details and got confused about who's the gong and shou, Zhou Ji is the gong and Xiong He is the shou.

Check it on chapter 161.1, I was sort of getting a hint it the past chapters but in 161.1 I finally confirmed it. I'm very satisfied🥰

The ending is a masterpiece, I like that the author didn't rush it like the others who just want it to finish so bad.

Love it! Since it's stone age related you can't really expect it to move in a fast pace at the beginning. But even then I wouldn't say it moves that slowly either. This is an excellent read and quite funny at times when it comes to certain interactions among the characters.

Very cute. Interesting story too. The extras were worth reading. I'll probably re-read this in the future, but sadly it's unique enough that it's easy to remember, so a year at earliest.

Really enjoyed it as the whole story was super cute and fluffy!

The plot did slow down in the middle, and became more of a slice of life where you get to see how they do day-to-day and little tidbits of how they improve as a civilization and how they interact with other tribes.

This is more of a romance story which is more plot-focused at the beginning and then became a slice of life. (I read a lot of the author's works and that is how they are generally structured)... more>>

The core of the story is honestly just cute fluff, which is why I enjoyed it so much. It's right up my alley. <<less

It was a fun read, but I frankly enjoyed the story in the parallel world extra even more. I find the ending for that much more better compared to the main story. What I did like was everything about Xiong ye, being such a nice lover (I want a giant teddy bear too). What I slightly found meh and somewhat unlikable was Zhou ji, acting like an overlord to everyone. Granted, he did have that bragging right, but c'mon. I found him way too selfish sometimes. Again, I found him... more>> much more likeable in the parallel world extras at least.

Many funny side characters, a villain that kept getting face slapped cuz he dum-dum, and... food! Featuring dinosaurs. And chili. Always gotta have that chili in dem farming. <<less

It's truly very light. The only antagonist is a typical no zuo no die character who gets his face slapped (literally with a bear paw) every step of the way.

Reading this feels like playing a simple build-your-civilization rpg game. It's really light and might come off as boring if you dive in expecting action.

If you're stressed out and you just want a chill read, this is it.

Just finished reading this good novel. It's soooo good, that I don't know what kind of praise to say. I highly recommend reading this novel.

I'm glad that I give this novel a chance because I tend to judge stories depending on reviews, this novel was stuck on my reading list and from now on when I read reviews I won't mind them gahhhhh just like the novel "Who Touched My Tail" I thought its not good because of the bad reviews but when I read it I totally like itttt.... more>> Mygoodness what a way to kill peoples interest to read good books/novels.

So all in all I rate this novel 5/5 stars.

Recommended, recommended!!!! Enjoy this good read guys.

It's quite interesting but not to the point that it's addicting (based on my own preferences). Good for light reading. Such a fluffy story, I very much recommend it.

The ML is OP, MC is cute. How I wish to personally see the MC circling a corpse while dancing naked. Yea its funny. The lion was very s*upid, he was given a chance and he wasted it bobo no? So yea, read it. Its cute.

Although a bit slow, it's overall a cute story.. The bear had it real easy in powering up with his mate's help.. I like the OP protagonist, specially his frenzy battle mode, except when he trampled the innocents of the Giant Tiger tribe..

The characters are ok.. But I've never seen a s*upider reborn person like that lion.. Nothing went in his way.. It was quite hilarious too.. I felt pity for his brainless actions before, but became blank later.. What a pathetic cannon fodder in both of the worlds.. It's... more>> like his only destiny was to bring the protagonist and the bear together.. Even so his craving for own child is actually quite relatable.. In the original story, the romance started so abruptly.. The bear asked the protagonist out on a whim and fell for him mainly because of foods ??? And that's it.. The feeling he harbored towards the lion over years just changed within a few days !!! Had protagonist rejected him, it seems like the bear would've gotten together with someone else quite easily..

I didn't quite like the protagonist in the parallel world first.. The bear and the lion should've resolved their problems by themselves.. Why getting closer to a man who still hasn't left his mate ??? That behaviour was quite hateful.. But then again, many people resort to many of such ways to get the person they like.. Actually the main characters in the parallel world behave more like real life people..

Anyway it is a nice one to read.. <<less

This novel may come off as a slice-of-life story about Zhou Ji and Xiong Ye's domesticated lifestyle in a prehistoric era littered with dinosaurs. It's not that simple.

Initially, it seems like Shi Li has the biggest advantage because he is the only rebirth character from the 1st world. He knows all the shortcuts and secrets. In his mind, the other two are just baggages and he abandons them. With his memories as his cheat sheet, he's on his way to success, right? Wrong

Little hints are given throughout the novel. As... more>> you put them together, you realize that there are many secrets and behind-the-scenes actions that Shi Li wasn't aware of. The entire truth is completely unraveled at the very end. It's quite a mind blowing moment

This novel centers around the entangled lives of 3 characters as they live through 3 parallel worlds

    • 1st world is the original world
    • 2nd world is where the novel takes place
    • 3rd world is in the extras
In all three worlds, the relationship entanglement between the three characters begins with Zhou Ji's transmigration from a cultivation apocalyptic world.

Finding new love at an old age is what makes the 3rd world so special

Spoiler

1st world - Xiong Ye and Zhou Ji have sad endings, while Shi Li is at the top of the world with his harem.

2nd world - The tragedies from the 1st world is completely averted. Xiong Ye's cute self pretty stays in tact.

3rd world - unlike the 2nd world, Xiong Ye is at an advanced age. All the tragedies happened and his youthful optimism has long since died.

A very heart-warming and fluffy story with minimal intrigue and angst. All the misunderstandings were resolved quickly and I loved how balanced the relationship between the MC and ML felt.

Fun and fluffy story in an ancient world of beastmen.

Gong Zhou Ji (secretly OP, but outwardly fragile as glass) transmigrated straight from the zombie apocalypse, who just wants to live quietly and eat well, until he meets the strong, kind and innocent Xiong ye, who has suddenly been abandoned by his former lover (who has been reborn) ; Xiong ye decides that he can raise him and they begin their adorable relationship. A slice of life, a light story, with an extensive gastronomic diary in ancient times.

I really enjoyed reading This. This is mostly a slice of life story and less romance but I still liked it very much. I’ve never read this kind of story and it was fun learning about the dinosaurs and the pre historic way of living. I liked getting to know the character and this was just a nice breath of fresh air. Thanks to the translator and the author. The MC and ML were logical and not dumb, they were in fact very smart.

And XY is such a cutie!

Ok, the story in general is not the best, pretty boring and slow sometimes, but I still finished it though I would enjoy it better if ZY was less OP, XY's ex was less a cannon fodder, and less face slapping happened. I cannot say that I loved it and will ever reread it, but it was ok and some people may really enjoy it.
