They aren't together yet but def have feelings for each other. MC is still a bit clueless but the ML def knows his feelings and is trying to court the MC.

Funny so far wish the MC was a bit stronger? Still love him tho, but he is most def depressed and has other mental issues. I can def relate tho lol

A gem! I never thought I would enjoy this one so much. I have 18 bookmarks for the pages and dialogues that moved me. I laughed so hard and cried too. I’ve read this twice, and for the nth time, I find myself rereading the pages I bookmarked when I’m bored. This, along with The Wife is First, is my comfort novel.

MC – A lazy yet genius (but truly lazy) doctor. Anything is fine with him—whether it’s getting married, eating unpalatable food, or even dying. It’s all fine. His dao... more>> is doing nothing.

ML – A ruthless yet loyal prince to the country. He’s serious—until he meets the MC.

I’m not great at writing reviews, but I have to commend the author’s storytelling. The comedy is top-notch. The author masterfully weaves the story from the couple's first meeting, to becoming friends, to partners in fighting evil forces. The translator did a fantastic job! It’s funny and engaging, fluffy and endearing, sad and brutal all mixed into one.

I also love that the author clearly divides the good and evil forces—there are no bad seeds in the MC and ML’s families.

The side characters have their moments too. I even feel sorry for the antagonist.

This was so romantic and fun! The author does a great job blending slow-burn romance with traveling hijinks. The story kind of lost steam near the end when there were too many conflicts to juggle, but tied up all loose ends neatly. It was quite unfortunate that some side characters died despite the build-up and development which hinted at potential redemption. The extras were pretty satisfying as well.

This is a good story that manages to show not to underestimate people. The romance between the MC and the ML is great and the side characters were interesting enough I want to know how and with whom they ended up with.
