I love the way the MC works hard to get to his desired level and also how the ML respects his wishes. They each equally fall for each other, not much angst in that respect. Each arc was exciting, the characters well fleshed out and finally the reveal about the MC's time travel.

It was a great read, I highly recommend this novel.

I only read so far because I had nothing else to read. Honestly MC is super annoying. He has no personality and is a shy uwu rabbit. Can’t even count how many times he was described as a rabbit spirit with cute bouncy curls which f*cking seem express him emotions, disgusting. One look from ML and he f*cking can’t think and is blushing uwu and jumping like a rabbit. I wanted to wash my eyes with bleach after I read those descriptions about hiwdyffchfhfcfhv h hhbvmx bx. Well this novel has a..

Perfect couple 💕 The MC is cute and clever. Very likeable. The ML is so powerful yet very doting toward his lover. Their chemistry is so good.

Good plot twists. I thought I was reading a simple transmigration novel. But the plot twists gave me a really pleasant surprise.

Great actions. And mistery and puzzles that makes you think.

4.5/5 is indeed the perfect score for this novel.

MC is so clever and cunning. You really can't get mad at him. Even his competitors end up acknowledging his strength. He isn't OP from the start, he grows little by little, learning from the ML, from other instructors and his own experiences.

ML is caring and is less controlling of the MC compared to other novels.

The writing is stellar, the plot unique and beautiful and the romance is to die for. Each and every elimination round were so fun to read. So... more>> interesting. So thrilling.

It is clear that the author had gone above and beyond to gather info for each elimination round there is in the competition.

All the supporting characters were extremely loveable even the rivals in the game. When evaluating a BL novel, there is one particular thing I check for. How the author treats the female side characters in his/her novel. Let me tell you this novel did female characters justice. The Hyacinths were just as fun to read about as the Crosson competitors.

Now, the reason why I couldn't bring myself to give this novel full marks is that it had to mention the MC's attractiveness in every other sentence in the novel. There was excessive reference to rabbits in this novel, and it was very irritating. I also got slight PTSD from the ABO vibe I got from the main characters' relationship.

All in all, a great read. <<less

This story is one of the best... I was never into survival shows but after reading this one am starting to doubt my preference, now I really want to read other survival shows to confirm...

This novel is very heartwarming and I feel like almost everything (including fluffy, romance, comedy..) is balanced in the story as they are not too much or too less...

So give it a try and you'll never regret it...

i couldn't put this down, tbh. This was written in a way that not everyone could appreciate it but once you get the feel for it you'll get hooked. I want to rant and rave but it would be nonsensical unless you read the story yourself so I could only recommend it and give it a full star review!",)

Despite the guns, the scifi, and the survival elements, IDK why... this reads like a slice of life novel to me 😂 Maybe it’s the pacing (this is written day-to-day) or maybe it’s the premise (slow and steady growth), but yeh! While the focus is on guns and stuff, the vibes I’m feeling is that I’m reading a slice of life high school manga... PFFT! ANYWAY, back to the point! It’s surprisingly cute, definitely not what I was expecting but not necessarily in a bad way, despite the fact that... more>> I stopped reading pretty early on.

CHARACTERS:

The characters here are actually classic anime in style as well. You know... exaggerated, color coded personalities and stuff like that 😂 They’re likeable regardless, but yeh!

Wu Jin (MC) : The MC is someone that was trained to be an idol. He’s very beautiful and he has great dancing and singing ability. Of course, all that is useless when he’s dumped into a survival show audition where he has to face all sorts of burly men with guns. Oh, and he’s been sent far off into the future, so he’s completely lost with the day-to-day as well.

As for the MC’s personality... he’s a classic Mary Sue-type main character 😂 He’s beautiful, has a shy temperament that lures everyone over (as well as a cooler temperament when he needs to bring it out, AKA when he’s dancing), he’s naturally talented in both physical and mental pursuits, etc. According to spoilers, there’s an explanation for all this later, if it matters to you. I thought he was cute regardless LOL

Wei Shi (ML) : The ML is the cold and reliable type. He’s OP af, but it has basis in his character setting. He first meets the MC in the survival show audition and carries him throughout — helping him win. The two form a bond early on because of this!

The bond is actually of patient x therapy animal LOL. The ML is a genetically modified superhuman, and this comes with issues that can be fixed only with the support of a pet-like existence that they can slowly learn empathy from while they take care of them.

ROMANCE:

Because of the dynamics described above, the romance in this novel is pretty humorous at times LOL the author really pushes their Rabbit!MC and Wolf!ML agenda (more so the former than the latter). The development has been pretty normal thus far, with the MC being an oblivious younger brother who admires and respects the ML (completely missing the point a dozen times over lol).

SETTING:

I initially thought this was a horror survival game story PFFT, I’ve been reading a lot of infinite flow novels 🤧 But this is mostly sci-fi. The date is a thousand year into the future, and it captures the life of idols in that time. It just so happens that the idol life int be future is a lot different (at least, for the MC’s case) — involving more guns. Despite the guns tho, the story is not really very violent. As mentioned, it gives off strong slice of life vibes lolol.

PLOT:

The main plot is the MC’s growth development. He starts off clueless and pretty weak, but throughout the story, you see him learn more and more — making waves in the debut competition. There’s also underlying mystery in his trip to the future and the ever-present background of the ML being Captain America 2.0 (LOL though not in personality).

RATING:

Although I can recommend this novel for those interested in sci-fi slice of life, it ended up not being for me hehe. I will reread it another time regardless though, maybe I’ll like it better then! The translation for this is really good, and despite the fact that it’s pretty conventional when it comes to character settings, I still enjoyed it a lot in the beginning, so I’m hoping that I can enjoy the rest too~ For now, my rating is 3.5 out of 5. This was really excellent but it took me FOREVER to finish. I don’t know what it was about this novel, but I would be extremely invested in each arc, but then I would always get unmotivated to continue. I think I took several month long breaks in between reading.

The novel itself is really fun, and the author clearly put a lot of thought in the creating unique challenges for the characters. I really liked the MC, he’s adorable but also smart as hell. And it wasn’t like he just miraculously... more>> knew everything, instead, he was able to use his reasoning to approach the games in a different way from the other players.

I also like that he didn’t just suddenly become strong. He worked really hard, spending countless hours training. It didn’t feel like his accomplishments were handed to him.

The ML is a fairly standard formula. He’s super strong, powerful, and rich. That being said, I liked him. He’s a “happy wife (husband) happy life” kind of guy but he also lets MC solve his own problems to grow.

The side characters were awesome, I even loved the more annoying characters like Thin Fire lol.

Spoiler: One thing I didn’t like was that the main antagonist of the novel was kind of swept under the rug ? Like, he left just as suddenly as he came. It was like the author got bored of that arc and wanted to play with dinosaurs again lol. It was fine though because the whole “I need you as my scabbard” thing did not interest me at all.

Some of the plot lines for the games got so layered and tricky, I’m honestly amazed anyone other than MC could figure it out. Layers of history, paired with science, philosophy and deductive reasoning. Count me dead

Holy crap this novel was unexpectedly really good.

I've read a lot of infinite flow novels, so I'm quite familiar with the whole "MC who's really good at reasoning passes through a bunch of instances" concept but, like, this is different. First of all, there's f*cking guns. So much gunfighting. The MC actually does follow a logical weak to strong curve in terms of his ability with guns. He's talented, yes, but he also works so hard that his progress is within reason. He progresses fast enough where it's satisfying, but... more>> not too fast to the point where it's illogical (like some other novels). Also the logic in this story is very coherent. The instances adhere to quality over quantity, and each is so intricate and detailed. And they make sense. Each and every one, all the logic and reasoning and background stories make sense. And they're so f*cking unique as well and goddamn large-scaled. I loved the setup of the cell automata map, the magnificence of the tarot card instance, and the stories within the Versailles instance. And dinosaurs. They f*cking raised and customized dinosaurs are you f*cking kidding me.

Now, in terms of the MC and ML's relationship. Oh my goodness. I love love love their relationship. There's so much mutual respect. The ML is overpowering and possessive at times but he respects and supports all of the MC's decisions. And the MC admires and respects the ML's prowess but he never tries to rely on it unilaterally. He always tries to win on his own, and he's always training hard so he's able to walk side by side with the ML And also like, their love makes sense. The progress of both of them falling in love with so f*cking sweet, and their relationship was also very f*cking sweet. Like

The MC's backstory was such a good plot twist. And it wasn't like it came out of nowhere. There were hints to it from the very beginning. The "transmigration, " MC's superior hearing, and of course more and more hints were revealed later in the story. But because I had been so accustomed to just accepting the premise, I didn't even think that hard about why and how the MC transmigrated. And so the backstory was just so f*cking good and explained so f*cking much. Everything made f*cking sense. Also!!! The side characters are lovable! Memorable! 3-dimensional! Everyone has their highlights and personality quirks. I really thought the author forgot about Wen Lin but then he did that during the Versailles instance. I was kind of pissed on behalf of the MC ngl but like dayum Wen Lin good for you.

And unlike many other novels, they're not simply foil for the MC. They each have their own strengths and areas where they are better than the MC in. And the MC doesn't get first in the competition every time, he doesn't even get top 10 every time. And that's because of the existence of these very real and very powerful side characters. He doesn't catch up to them instantly. Just like how the MC improves, the other characters improve as well.

Also the MC is so CUUUUTE AHHH. I've completely assimilated with his mama fans in the novel. Let me tell you about my son Little Witch. He's cute and sweet and obedient but he also shoots guns and can dance and looks very very cool and sexy!!!! I love the contrast between his "cute and soft" character setting and how fierce and focused he gets sometimes in the competition. And the ML is also very hot and handsome and powerful but I think this is one of the novels where I straightup aDORE the MC. Like I love the ML too but AHHHH such a cute little witch. <<less

The overall plot of this novel was great, lots of foreshadowing and unexpected plot twists that you wouldn't expect. The relationship between the MC and ML is adorable and I like how the MC decided to gradually improve himself. The sheer amount of information from the games are insane but interesting even if it causes a headache. Highly recommended.

Words cannot describe how much I love this novel! I came in NOT expecting it to be interstellar, only interested in the showbiz side of it - but this truly is a survival game full of really exciting and fun themes, exciting plot and a very interesting cast of characters. I've never read a novel that makes me feel like I'm enjoying an anime episode before, full of twists and turns but it's so damn good.

If I could re-read this novel a 100 times I would! If you're interested in... more>> tarot, history, math, evolution, etc. I think you'll be very excited and pleasantly surprised when reading this!

I have to warn you first though, the story is mostly set in interstellar setting.

The MC is actually an interstellar person, he just lost his memories and had fabricated memories (in the 1st-2nd chapter) so don't linger on to the idea of transmigrating back to modern times.

Other than that, I want to give this a big thumbs up. The translation is amazing, the story itself is superb. There's nothing to complain about -- even when I took a small break from reading, I feel excited coming back to finish this story.

The competition is fierce and exciting, there's no despicable character in the competition- everyone has their own strengths which brings the heat up for the MC by a notch!! The MC doesn't always win the games, but everything is well paced, well planned and I really like this alot. Not only does he have to fight against others - he also has to figure out the games, rules and how to win at the same time.

The different age regression - whether it's Wu Jin who's younger or Wei Shi - are BOTH very lovely! Very screaming worthy! I'm a big fan of younger ML so this is so delicious when I read it. Oh my god!!

I can't decide who I like more - honestly in this novel, I love ALL the characters so much! The entire cast is amazing, well-rounded and complex. I love how they fight so fiercely in the competition - never leaving a weak point, yet outside they can come together -- unexpected allies, strengths in a team, hidden strengths that gets very good treatment/shines brightly. Everything is exciting and I honestly can't pick a favourite because I love them all so much!! <<less

Tbh there are some boring one because I’m not to into that topic... but over all if you like a wholesome novel, with great plot characters development and just light and not to heavy I highly recommend this to you...

The talent show is what really sells this - amazing! Wish I could see it in an anime or live-action.

And the romance doesn't lose to it, it's a really good secondary plot that ties in a lot of questions you may have about the MC.

love love love love LOVE this story!!!!! Such an interesting concept and the plot is seriously so cute. Very clearly inspired by the produce101 series imo but also very different!

Absolutely adore the character development of the MC and his interactions with the ML. His progress and growth as a fighter is so endearing. The side characters are all so enjoyable as well. 10/10

This novel is so good. Reading this novel was a whole another experience. After completing this novel, for a couple of days, I was only thinking about this novel. I want to reread this novel once more to experience those feelings. Although in the middle, one of the elimination rounds was a little bit slow, I enjoyed the whole thing. I must admit, the writer was brilliant in storytelling, world-building and in character designing. Also, the translators did a good job in translating this novel.

I really really enjoyed reading this. I can write a whole ass essay about what made this story so enjoyable for me, however, I would rather just say that if you like cute but smart MCs, a story which gives you reason for almost every character's personality and happenings, then you would definitely enjoy this. I rarely read stories belonging to the Sci-Fi genre but this was one of the best novel I've ever read in any genre!!! I don't know why people are calling it cliche, maybe I've not... more>> read enough novels yet.... <<less

Very entertaining, cute and fluffy with a tad bit of angst! The MC is lovable and the ML is supportive and strong!! The side characters are funny and entertaining as well. There is a slight twist in the story but it makes sense in the overall setting of the novel. There are a bunch of extras in the end of the novel that talks more about the main pair, as well as our favorite side characters. Overall, a very enjoyable read with a HE if you like novels about team... more>> survival competitions built in a futuristic world (like a Hunger Games, without the irl deaths). <<less

This is a very unique survival game story!

Different from the typical survival game/horror unlimited flow stories, this story does not have any death scenarios for players in the survival games. Moreover, the survival games are fairly sci-fi with metal weapons and machinery.

The MC and ML have an intricate backstory that explains their past. This is one of the most engaging parts of the story.

The MC is relatively OP because he is almost always protected in one way or another by the ML. The ML is also a hidden OP boss. The character settings of the MC and ML are a lil bland and boring, but the author makes up for it with interesting plotlines. <<less
