I became a hidden boss in a game.

And not just any boss, but one that can summon as many legendary weapons as it wants.

Even though it’s a hidden boss that goes berserk due to a breakdown in sanity.

Even though it’s a destiny where there seems to be no way out.

I can’t just die easily, right?

This novel is a bit of a mixed bag. While the subject matter is decent and the writing is passable, it somehow fails to be engaging. The main character is strong, but in a way that lacks any real excitement or tension. There's no real sense of thrill, and what should be refreshing moments feel more like lukewarm, flat soda, definitely not satisfying.

As the story progresses, the character does grow stronger, but not by much, and it's hard to feel any real impact. The entire novel feels too ambiguous, like... more>> it's caught between being something more and just being average. Personally, I'd give it around 2 stars.

The opening situation, where the main character wakes up in a new world, feels too vague and lacks any real hook. There's no twist or deeper mystery to make you curious about the darker aspects or why the possession happened. It just kind of moves forward without pulling you in.

That said, the plot does move quickly, and the premise is solid enough that if you're curious, it might still be worth a read. But for me, it just didn't hold my interest. <<less
