I'm not sure why this is so well-liked. Its only strength lies in the absurd comedy of the male MC acting like a submissive, cutesy flirt and it being super effective. Other than that, MC is absolutely infuriatingly forgiving. There is a woman, who is literally worse than 99% of the demons, who MC literally pleaded with the demons to not kill. And let me just say, the demons are actually demonic. They kill and torture humans for sport, eat their body parts as snacks and so on. Even children... more>> and literal infants. So this woman is absolutely vile, because while she may not be that grossly violent, she is an absolutely unfeeling piece of shit.

So yeah, MC literally begging to save her life made me drop this.

Even more so because he was begging to save her life right after she had just slaughtered most of the humans MC had managed to save after the demons invaded the country he got transmigrated to, and made her daughter, who she has neglected her entire life just because she was not born a man, drink a potion that temporarily turned her into a demon... and rot away to death. Her daughter, who has spent her entire life trying to get just scraps of attention and acknowledgement from her PoS mother, all in vain.

The novel is very funny with a simple premise so far. You get a protagonist that wants to be in a slow life novel falling into a violent world, and he slowly tries to change it for the better.

It's a funny novel. The concept it's simple but well worked nonetheless. And if you think you're just having a fluffy and cute comedy, be prepared to have some surprises

This novel has proven to be quite entertaining, taking the route of a physically weak isekai protagonist that has to win the day through other means. This has proving as enterntaining as how in Overlord, Ainz looks for ways to not screw up.

There are some fanservice scenes that, although tame, they are most effective.
