The writting is just too simple, kinda lacking experience. The good thing is it similar to face-slap genre of chinese novel but actually written in a way that not as cringy, so it is somewhat satisfied to read. Can't expect great thing from this tho cause it is too simple

I’m not going to give a proper review, my apologies. If you have this novel as five stars, you’re crazy and are blinded by MC hype moments to see that the writing underwhelms itself through poor character writing and under exploding the concepts it brings up. Let’s not even mention the ending and generic plot. Admittedly, I do not harp on reading these types of works as I also enjoy them, but this worse than the mediocre stuff I could tolerate by turning my brain off.

The manhwa art and season 1 progression made me think this would be at least a decent read. Boy o boy was I wrong. The manhwa definitely has a better script than the novel cause the side characters all act s*upid so that MC can shine. Honestly I was expecting more cause this had an interesting premise cause the MC is on his last chance and has to clear the game not as the sole survivor but have a competent team with him. Yeah MC uses others for his goals... more>> which I like but then the side characters seemingly lose their IQ just so MC looks better. One more thing I dislike is that in the manhwa at least we get to see more of MC's younger brother and how MC wants to protect hima and their bond which makes MC's motivation make sense cause he wants to protect his family but in the novel we don't get to see much of MC's younger brother at all and that's a shame too. I'd say this is ok 2.6/5 stars rounded to 3.2 for the manhwa art. Hope that the manhwa script is revised and better than the novel <<less

Shallow, mediocre.

After a few weeks of waiting for more of new chapters to come out, I decided to continue and realized that nothing of these hundred chapters remained in my memory. Thinking about it some more, I managed to scramble some fragments, but it only brought me to a conclusion that it was so generic, there was nothing to remember in the first place.

Thus, I'll stop reading here.

But I still can recommend it to some people who like similar stories - it is by no means bad. This novel can... more>> bring you some fun, just don't expect anything special. <<less
