This is a VERY meng story! Though it is short, it is utterly sweet, fluffy, and a bit smutty at the end. I'm so excited that 自带春♂药的男人was picked up! The title is a bit clever in Chinese, as without the "♂" it is translated as The Man Who Brings Herbal Medicine, but if you take it away, it becomes An Aphrodisiac Man (literally, as Bringing Aphrodisiac Man).

The main character is a tsundere, proud uke and yes, the seme is definitely gentle and super, super tolerant as the summary above mentions,... more>> LOL!

Regardless, the main character, Ling Maoer (凌猫儿) is a Siamese cat spirit who poses a a model for his day job. One day, he meets a photographer, Mu Mu (穆牧), having a smell that is utterly irresistible. Later on, Ling Maoer finds out that Mu Mu lives closeby. Mu Mu's scent bothers him so much, that after the photoshoot, he turns into a cat to sneak over to find out the source of the smell. Mu Mu, unaware that the cat he finds is the very model he's been collaborating with, spoils the cat to bits.

I won't spoil too much, as there isn't that many chapters--but you can be assured the ending is happy and very, very smutty. There is a surprising twist that I didn't see coming though!

Mu Mu turns out to be a Silver vine plant spirit (Actinidia polygama) that is known to elicit euphoric response in cats.... This is why the ending is smutty...

The story is sweet and okay. But I expect more H scenes :' (It didnt do justoce for the smut tag...

The story is cute and all but im not satisfied enough since I mainly want to read a smut novel :)

For the beginning the story was slow-paced and fluff, at the ending was a little bit rushed and so many smut action here... But overall its good.

Still so sad we cant have the 2 extras.

VERY VERY CUTE BL STORY. Oh my I just love the haughtiness of the MC and the airhead ML XD and it's also a model and photographer story!! what else can I ask for!! my favorite troupee~~ Ah, so moee... My fujoshi heart goes kyaaaa at this the whole chapters.

And the smut? 1 word fellow. HOT.

That short story is a little masterpiece. Well written, well translated, with plenty of humour and sweetness. The relationship between proud kitty MaoEr and patient gentle MuMu is a delight to read. I loved MaoEr's personality, especially his shameless arrogance and narcissism lol... The ending might seemed rushed to some, but it did not bother me.

Ling Mao Er is a cat demon (purebred Thai-born Siamese) whose current identity is a 19 year old model, famous for being so androgynous that he can take both male and female roles. Mu Mu is a 32 year old well-known photographer who emits some kind of scent that makes him a human shaped catnip for cats. This short story follows the journey of their relationship, from a not-so-great meeting, to sneaky "pet" and oblivious "master", to getting together.

Mao Er is beautiful, but rather than everyone praising him, a lot of people actually ridicule him out of envy or disbelief. On the other hand, while Mu Mu isn't ugly, he's very plain looking. Mao Er, as an old cat demon, is very crafty but subtly animalistic, there's no "helpless animal shou" here. In general, Mao Er is 'excellent' but he's not a Mary Sue or a softboi, and he's very capable even without his gong.

Cons: Although it's meant to be short, c8 feels too fast, like the author summarized another 5-10 chapters worth of content. Also, the AN promised tempting r18 extras but I don't know how to find the extras... <<less

This is a quick, fun read.

Loud shout out to the translator! Thank you.

This wild and funny story is about a model who meets a photographer who has a personal sent that attracts and drives the model crazy when he is near. There is a great reason for that. I love how the model finds himself addicted to the photographer's smell, like an aphrodisiac!

Loved the characters, especially the photographer.

I like it! The novel is really nice and simple.

I like how Mao Er didn't have thoughts like, "Oh, I slept with a man!", "Oh, I'm gay!" He just did what his thoughts are. He's straightforward with his likes and dislikes.

And for Mu Mu, I like how honest his character are.

He didn't avoid responsibility, even if he can totally avoid it.

He can also take advantage of Mao Er at that time, about the copyright of his (Mao Er's) photo when Mao Er told him it's free but he didn't and insisted to properly talk to his assistant about the fee/price.

I actually didn't expect the novel would be so straightforward and simple. I expected you know, cliches.

But it's nice, this is like a breath of fresh air.

Their love story could actually come out as Mao Er, the only model who could make Mu Mu exclaim praises x Mu Mu, who's the first photographer to scold Mao Er for not being good enough.

But that didn't happen, quite thankful.

Recommended for a short read.

This one is a very cute and sweet short BL story. The ML is super gentle and sweet while the MC is tsundere. The ending is a little bit rush but it's still tolerable. Smut 7/10, story 7.5/10

A nice short-story involving a vain cat-boy bottom and an aphrodisiac-type casual top. Don't look too deep into it — idiot-syndrome is communicable — and just enjoy it. It's short, thus plot is practically nonexistent, but it's not bad.

It's really pity that its rating isn't higher because despite being short, it really is a very good story, better than other longer ones with higher ratings. I hope you can give it a try.~

Pretty cute. I'm not in love with the story but wouldn't mind re-reading it in the future. A lot of fluff. The ending reveal was weird LOL but it's fiction and a happy ending so whatever ? I bumped it up to a 3 star since it gave us a smut extra!

Aaaaa so funny and absurdly adorable!!! And hot too!! It has everything my weak heart needed to die of moe!!!!!!!! Its a whole package!!!! Definitely a must read!! Ahhh so cute!!!

It was definitely a good read!!!

First 7 chapters felt laid-back (I was enjoying their interactions, it was so meng) then in the 8 chapter there are earth shattering changes.... LOL

MC is so tsun but still since he was taking all the initiatives I didn't mind, if anything changes in the ML came like a storm maybe. it was coz of the time skips inbetween but since it's a HE, I forgive them all!! hahahaha

Lots of fluff and s*x.... hurhur

A Good one.... recommending to all.
