Three regressions, 4th life.

Although she was prophesied and raised as the child of fate, she was sacrificed when the real child of fate appears.

‘This country is no good, let’s defect!’

Leblaine chooses to be adopted to earn money until defecting. There was nothing wrong this far, but the place she chose was a family full of villains. She tried to trick those bad guys in order to live comfortably before defecting…

“My daughter is the cutest in the world.”

“Give her the building. She can use it as her bathroom.”

“It’s okay, Leblaine told me not hit you, but she didn’t say not to kill you?”

“Who made my sister cry!”

‘…they’re spiralling out of control, what should I do?’

***

“You can’t hit or kill people just because you don’t like them.”

My family was quiet even though I purposely looked sad.

‘Then there’s nothing I can do!’

I looked back at my family with a sharp gaze and said solemnly.

“I’m going to sleep without a blanket.”

“I’m wrong, kid!”

“I’m sorry!”

“I won’t kill anyone!”

Good.

Honestly, I love the novels with father/daughter relationships, so this is one of my favorite genres. The only thing is.... I can't read the chapters on woopread translations for some reason. I don't understand why, it doesn't load the page, i've tried both on my PC and on my phone but it doesn't load at all. Am I the only one with this problem?

The MC is so cute and I love her family. There's a time skip but it's well written so I don't mind too much. The MCs insecurities in the beginning versus her pride later on are so different. It makes me happy to watch how much she's grown.

This is my first time reading a shoujo, bg novel, and it's worth it! For me atleast. It's such a good read after a lot of transmigrating bl novels.

I love doting family members setting the most, of course I want it to be overplayed.

The interaction between the two brothers and Blaine was cute, atleast up until C35. The first 2 chapters I read, was quite rough, so I changed the translations and it got better. Please keep up the good work.

I'm still in the chapter before she met the eldest... more>> but the interaction is so cuteee up until C35. Will come back again after a few updates.

Minor spoilers!

actually anxious of what will happen to blaine if they found out that she's 'supposedly' the fake child of destiny. I hope that M girl who is the true child of destiny is not bad tho. *Wanting them to be friends.*

Do read, it's satisfying. (Not sure you'll like it tho, but up until c35 the book is *chefs kiss*) <<less

I can't help it hahahaha no matter how much of a cliche it might be, I still love MC-winning-over-powerful-family stories. Very very cute, no foreseeable romance so far but lots of potential!

Spoiler

The only thing I don't get is why she didn't take advantage of her ability as the ONLY PERSON able to read the ancient language (before the "real" child of fate shows up) to make a name for herself, even if it's still weaker than the real child. In any case it would definitely be better than the things she had to go through.

Even in this current life, after her ability to read it is revealed there's still hardly anything that happens?? No scholars looking for her, interest from the Imperial family, more people believing in her position. All it was used for was to expose a cheating merchant lol.

I think this is a well-written novel with many twists that make it interesting throughout the story

Especially the part when Leblaine was revealed to be the biological daughter of the duke. That part made me shocked and when all the family members found out about the truth, it was a very emotional moment.

I also liked the part when Leblaine appeared in the virtual battle with the ball jointed doll, I thought that was cool and badass

[collapse]

Her family is very loving to the MC and I think the dynamic between her and the family is adorable. They often fight a lot to care for or get the attention of the MC which I find funny. Even the workers in the mansion all care for her so she is very much loved in her current life.

Leblaine is a quick witted MC who doesn't act dumb or s*upid. She actually is pretty brave and bold with her actions which allows her to achieve many of her goals. I don't find her to be annoying at all because she is constantly working to protect her family and also be able to face Mina.

I do have a couple complaints about this story though. First of all, I felt like the story was being dragged too much by the end which made me feel a little bored. Also I thought the ending was okay but I thought it was confusing how

her mother suddenly comes back to life. I'm not upset about it because I think it's nice how she got her mother back but it just felt random.

[collapse]

Also I think the romance between the MC and the ML is not that well developed. I think it's understandable considering the fact that this story is focused on family but if you're looking for romance in this story just so you know I think it's not that good, there's just not enough scenes between the two of them.

Overall, I think this is a must-read when it comes to childcare stories and you might enjoy this like I did. This does have very high ratings for a reason! <<less

.

It's a well written story in terms of character development, backstories, world building and ability to evoke a myriad of emotions from its readers. I did not mind a lesser focus on any romantic subplots because there's a whole lot of family fluff that kept me sated.

This one I may want to go back and reread after some time, but the characters (yes, not just one) definitely left a memorable mark for me. <<less

So... I like the story. It reminds me of ToCF. Leblaine and Cale are cut from the same clothe. Hahahaha

I like its premise.

It has a refreshing world building.

... more>> The characters and their interactions are cute.

But...

The translation quality just is not it for me... I am grateful for the time and effort of the translator but... it makes the story, as I go on, stilted... I am curious about the ending... I know I'm not even halfway through the novel but I have to drop it. The terminologies within the story changes halfway through and there isn't much consistency... The names also gets confusing as we progress and... I'm sorry. I have to drop this.

Kudos to the translation team/translator for the effort. <<less

Story-wise this is probably one of my favorite transmigration stories with the main theme being about family, you can tell the author put a lot of details in how the MC uses information from her previous lives to her advantage in her current life.

Leblaine is a great MC, she's smart and won't show mercy to those who deserve it but she isn't perfect as she has trauma over the ab*se she suffered in her previous lives, which makes it easy to sympathize with her.

Although I really like this story there... more>> is one major flaw that made me eventually drop the story which is the translation, it's probably one of the worst translated stories I've read and is similar to MTL. There are a lot of grammar errors that make the novel difficult to read which takes out a lot of my enjoyment and immersion. <<less

This is my first time writing a review because this novel is REALLY my favorite and I think people who likes to read something with a family trope will love it too. The translation isn’t really that good at first but it’s getting better and I've also finished this novel just rereading it all I can say is NONE OF THE NOVELS I’VE READ CAN COMPARE TO THIS! I’m a really really picky reader and I lose my interest very quickly but this novel, even if I reread for the... more>> fifth time, still feels new. To those people saying why she acts and talks like a child and things of course she will. She’s a 4 year old kid who has a short tongue do you really expect her to pull a calliope and give life advices? And fyi her plan was to ESCAPE it’s not that she didn’t have any plan but she didn’t want to continue it because once again she hoped and wanted to trust that her new family will take care of her, love her and cherish her like no one ever did in her past lives. In my opinion and from what I read, Leblaine is just a girl who wanted to be loved by her family but was sacrificed, ab*sed to death and starved to death. Another fyi is their family is a VILLAIN. VILLAIN. Of course they’ll do bad things they literally have criminals as employees make it make sense smh also the novel gets better throughout the story so :D <<less

I read it at the very end.

--And it was so worth it.

If you like protective families, easy to understand yet interesting plot, and smart but cute MC, then this is the novel for you.

Give it a read if you want a good way to kill time. :)
Spoiler

The MC has gone through a lot in her three lives. And she somehow found a way in the most appalling choice, and those choices in her past life made her calculative yet not cold. Her family is cute to read, but the romance is pretty much non-existent, which is good for a change.

It was good. There's fluff at the start but somehow it got complicated and thrilling later on. The female MC has a great major character development as she became more Dubbled or maybe worse than the Dubbled; I don't know if that was a good thing. But with the complicated plot, the story seems to be really planned and not just full of nonsense.

I also love the major and big character development for her father and brothers. They might be the typical tyrants but they have diverse characters on the... more>> story, so it's good. It's initiallly pretty good, I didn't find things complicated, their relatioship was cute and all. But I started having a serious issue: the "similing like a villain" phrase just turned me off so many times. The author kept mentioning this at every turn, and tried to force this vision of "oh, I'm a villain, with a villain family and criminal servants", if it's briefly mentioned than okay, cute, but if it is over and over again it gives a headache.

Also, why is the CP the ML??? If she wants to make their House independent, it does not make any sense!! Also, I don't really knoe if the idea was later dropped, and if it was, I'm even more disappointed. And, I didn't feel them at all! Like, there's no chemistry, no relationship progression. Also, why the hell did she have to become a child again?? God damn it man, really unnecessery and does not add to the plot one bit.

[collapse]

I'm also pretty unsatisfied with the brothers development, they don't change anything, it looks like they don't even have a life besides adoring Leblaine. No personal relationships, no opinions of their own, nothing!!

Anyway the beginning was good, but as it goes, it's boring. And

This will be a biased review, and won't talk much about the faults of the novel.

Non-spoiler warning:... more>>

The translation for this novel on Woopreads is, honestly, pretty bad. Kudos to the translator for translating it at all, but a lot of comprehension is lost due to bad grammar. It got better for a bit while the TL had an editor/proofreader, but it seems they left. Despite the bad translation, though, the story was so good I could overlook it.

[collapse]

That is because it feels so satisfying to read, that I don't care much about the faults of the novel - or notice them at all! The main character is cunning and a bit greedy, even - watching her amass more and more power feels super satisfying!

The character interactions are intriguing, funny and heartwarming; I've been told I had a dumb smile on my face while reading this novel!

While the plot and story, imho, are very attention gripping, the prose itself is nothing special and is rather barebones. The worldbuilding also feels a bit underdeveloped, or rather, "hollow" - aside from fleshing out partial details surrounding the "political intrigue", the world feels pretty... I dunno. Barren. The focus is very much placed onto the people of the world first and foremost (which isn't a bad thing!).

In summary: If you want to read something where the tension keeps building and building, and where there's the satisfying taste of just desserts, served together with evil family fluffiness, this one is for you. <<less

This is a really good not too deep of a story. There is political intrigue, but it's well thought out and laid out. The author does attempt to give you clues to figure out what the MC is up to when they don't spell it out. I had also found the MC's demeanor and personality, quite enjoyable! She's meticulous and in the beginning, you can tell just how frightened she is to get close to anyone. Most of all, I really, really enjoy what they did with an adult mind... more>> being restarted in a child's body multiple times.

Most stories, just have a straight adult mind in a child's body. She doesn't. She has her adult mind, but she has to struggle to overcome her child mentality (brain not fully developed). The more strength and power she uses, the less grip she has over her mental state. There are several times in the story where she overuses her divine power, then she starts to panic somewhat as she can't control her childish impulses. This is a new concept for me and I quite enjoyed how the story plays off of it. Because she can't help herself when she's in that state, she can't think clearly, she's swayed by her emotions more easily and she's more prone to remembering the past. I'd always been slightly annoyed at stories that play off of the adult in a child's body because it never makes sense why they act the way they do. This story managed to provide reasoning for that issue. Something I found quite enjoyable and refreshing for an idea. <<less

The translation is very good and the story is just good enough to pass time.

The story is supposed to be a family pampering an adopted daughter but it doesn't seem like an equal exchange of love. It's more like the parent and sons became her loyal servants who she can scold and order around instead of being a happy heartwarming family.

As I read further, I began to want to change the rating to a 2. I found this novel because of the manga promo and was really looking forward to reading it. However, the writing/translation gets on my nerve. It improves somewhat later, but at the beginning, the story jumps and sometimes, I don't understand what is going on. There's not much description and you can't always tell who's talking and when MC's talking vs. When she's thinking.

From what she told about her previous lives, I feel really bad for... more>> her. Never got any love and had to watch Mina, the real child of destiny, get all the love she craved.

As I read on further, I become more and more irked by MC's personality and how everyone's just pleasing and basically idolizing her. I get it, she kind of saved your lives from the scary duke, but if you really think about it, it was also because of her trying to meddle that the situation ended up like that or actually, it's not really her who saved you, but because she spoke last, she's the savior. Everyone just basically adores her and gives her everything. It's getting a little unreal. <<less

This story its quite refreshing. Our little MC is not just a damsell in distress and not a full OP character. She just a girl, who lived 3 horrible lifes and died miserably. But she use her knowledge in this life to progress and I love how the Duke&brothers&whole household just showering her the love and adoration what LeBlaine deserved long ago.

The only almost-400-chapter novel I never got tired of reading. Such an amazing childcare story with many ups and downs, and pacing that doesn't keep you waiting or leave you bored. Proud to have finished it entirely. Took me an entire week but it was worth it.

For my review sorry for my grammatical mistakes english is not my primary langage.

SO...

To tell the truth, it was great yes buuuut there are parts where it was a little long honestly and my primary drive in this was her family relationship ... more>>
Spoiler

and then her love one although it was at the ennnd of the end

[collapse]

They are particular parts I absolutely adored
Spoiler

the first part when she was 4 and when she constructed her relation with her father / brother ; some revenge parts like with the Duke of Amity or the revenge on the Duke of Vallua

[collapse]

The fact is, it's good to make a lot of characters, but it's less when it's not credible bc she become bestfriend for life with them in a few days.

Some relation where really better developped than others
Spoiler

Lea, the chairman

[collapse]

And it's a point where even with her family at some point it's just action, plot, politics, pain etc. and she just risks her life H24 and they fear for her or the contrary but I find it really really bad that they was no more just realixing moments between family, friends etc. This novel is honestly 80% Bullying on the heroine but her plotting 15% having good moments and 5% revenge

It's like I get it's so long already but honestly if the plot is interesting, the reason I read this was for these little moments.

Some parts felt so looonng
Spoiler

like with Mina, it took so long when even when she met her she was already so superior to her ! Or with the other fake sibling etc. Or with the temple !! I get it it was the biggest part but seriously, the pope is a nobody from ancient time and is overpowered like that ?! It was like he was more powerful than Neliard himself.

[collapse]
.

And it's just with her relationships, even if the action parts are long, honestly there are many plotholes in them and sometimes it's just not realistic at all. I mean, I know it's a fantasy book it's not the point, but it was just too easy sometimes
Spoiler

like when she obtained consent from the 4 countries at the end or when her Mom ressucited : I was like yeah great but why ?

[collapse]
.

But honestly it's an enjoyable, but all of these points, the biggest being I want more good times with her family, are why I won't reread this.

And more than that, if there's really one thing, one BIG thing I must criticize, it's her romance. Not that I don't like the ML, he's amazing but hec
Spoiler

Adrian is one my favorite MLs from all novels, and it counts a lot to say so bc honeslty the plot here isn't that great. Thanks to him, I was reading chapters after chapters too see little moments of them, and WHAT ?! They get officially together at the 5 five chapters, here me out, at the last 5 chapters out of 365 !! And unoficially, it must be like at 320 but they haven't even been on date hec, they kissed like 2 times and WE DIDN'T EVEN HAVE A WEDDING !! But yes we see their daughter and what !

[collapse]

I'll tell you, that's a steal to make an ML So awesome, caring, marvelling, handsome, smart, strong, who does so much for her and for the romance to be that undevelopped. <<less
