The title made me think this would be angst; the first chapters made me think comedy. Overall, it's a very sweet character driven romance, with a level of sincerity that hit me like a truck.

I do recommend this story, although I do wish it was fully translated on a single website. Ah well. Hobbies are hard work!

The author clearly loves wordplay, and I definitely wish I was able to fully appreciate it! However, it's still able to come across as funny as-is.

One thing I really like is that there aren't... more>> really any villains for the most part. You start off predisposed against ML, but it's a misunderstanding, and he quickly becomes very loveable because of how honest he is about not understanding or recognizing love. Then you become biased against the female love rival, but she accepts her own weaknesses and tries to get over it, and does have her own life beyond being a cardboard cutout antagonist invented for the crew. Then the white moonlight/little brother, who turns out to have a very simple idea of what romance is, as well as being stubborn and spoiled – but he's ultimately also just a guy, good and bad, who desperately wants to feel truly loved and protected instead of just spoiled.

And finally... MC. He comes across as teasing, flippant, and insincere at times. This is his character arc. We see him go from provoking fights to solving them, from manipulating people to letting them control their own affairs, from an unwillingness to take his husband seriously to truly wanting to do his best in their relationship. He's got a little golden halo, but is also clever, considerate, experienced, and overall a boon to the loves of other characters. He's able to live a life of familial and genuine love, which he had not before transmigrating, and others are glad that he has become the replacement because they like who he is.

Waiting online for the rest of the translation! Thank you all for your efforts in sharing this novel, it's a great read. <<less

I dropped this story a year ago after reading 6 chapters or so and I'm glad I picked it up again and finished it some while ago.

I really didn't like the writing style in the first few chapters. It felt so detached, staccato. The prose wasn't good imo. Also the first few chapters and scenes were almost like a parody how cp interacted with eachother and why they married (so silly and unrealistic). Luckily it gets much better after a while and the story becomes quite entertaining.

I liked that author... more>> didn't go for the dog blood, evil dumb villains + face slapping route., as from the first few chapters you would totally think that. There was face slapping, but in mild way as MC convinces other through his OP acting skills and coaching others. In the end, the 'villains' have more or less good relationship with MC. MC also manages to improve the relationship with 'his' family. MC is OP and a bit black bellied, but kind. ML is supportive, respectful, but also jealous. They communicate, so no misunderstandings. <<less

Easy 5 star despite me not completing it (I tried mtl but it's not the same) I laugh from Chp 1 to 47 HAHAHHA

The MC is so witty! OHMYGOD I LOVE HIM, such a smart ass, to manipulate his words like that, it's so infuriating & endearing. The banter between MC and ML is the highlight for me! And also how ML gradually learn to counterattack MC's witty remarks and making MC speechless.

//MC: I'm supposed to be the shameless one! And why do you want to drive everyday husband?!... more>> I don't want to be the shou, how about you lie down and I'll do it? ML: OK. Naval orange it is. MC: :O // HAHAHAHAHAHA I LOVE THEM.

👉This story is also really different than those usual 'I want a divorce' tropes, really!!! IT'S SO UNEXPECTED & YOU THOUGHT WRONG kinda thing. I can't say it here cause its really a spoil. 👉But it's too sweet when the MC realises and his actions after that.. Really, their communication is so beautiful.

👉Oh and best part, lots of the villains are not one dimensional and can be reformed! Wtf so coool!

Very quick and light-hearted book with almost no drama at all. The best thing that I like about this is...... C.o.m.m.u.n.i.c.a.t.i.o.n. Yes, you read that right ladies and gentlemen. This novel actually has the main couples and other characters talk to each other about things and helping solve it through communicating.

So fluffy and heartwarming. For me, this is the best among the 3 shared universe series of the author. It got a nice plot, progressive development of the characters and and the character relationship transitions naturally

Their baby is the cutest too❤.

Instead of unannounced drop of dramas and misunderstanding that ends up tragic and sad, Ling Qing (MC) tried to interact and discuss with Yu Chen (ML) who was always misunderstood, even more by the original owner of his body. Well at least now his "wife" and him has better relation. The downside is that his "wife" always ramble regarding who should really be the one to "receives the love" cracks me up.

There's also that Ling Bai white lotus b**** who thinks everything revolves and lives for him. It was really funny seeing Ling Qing (MC) acted his heart out to cross the brotherly taboo between them

AMAZING! The author out a lot of thoughts to this novel. The basic and complex morals and logic are there. The MC is an open minded person who uses his hurtful past to build a better future to others lives.

i personally love Su Yue... and yeah in the early chaptersperople can describe him as a jerk but he was driven by revenge for his parents and yet still held his younger brother'life at his formost priority. I liked the part that LQ reminded SY about the danger of it all and how Su Shu needs love. BUT He was alright with that HE'LL SACRIFICE EVERYTHING JUST FOR THE SAFETY OF HIS REMAINING FAMILY even the left amount of time they have together he wouldn't dare take that chance, he only said to LQ that someone will love him more than he can. And I just cried the author managed to preserve at least some humanity in Su Yue and it was in the form of his brother.

I love Shu Tong and Ling Bai they are one of the examples of a round characters that are constantly changing by the wheel of time.

So future readers or just interested to read in the comment... WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?! Read it now whether mtl or translated is all good since the thought of the author is still evident form the text.

The plot it self is pretty standard and there's nothing novel about it. However, the characters are superb. The dynamic between characters are humorous, it's almost comedy. It's a very good light read.

It's actually a shame that it's too short, I think it would have been fine if it was chaptered into 300ish.

One of the most mature MC I've ever read. Everytime there's a conflic might began, it ended up half way with him 'difusing the fire' and made me think " aah, it also could be resolved that way~ < (•_•) --○|~

The love ML has for the MC is something that I like and seldom found in another works that I've read. He would let the person he loves away as long as he is happy. But still possesif of them if they are together.

The point where the MC thought that... more>> this world is perfect for his little brother (the white lotus one) based on the interaction he got when he is pretending to be a white lotus got me choke up / (°□°)..

The interaction between the characters is something I look up to, even the ex-vilain.

as for dog blood drama...., nah, it ended before it even began.

I would love if there's more extra stories of their son, he's so cuuuutee♡♡♡♡

I'll keep watching this Author other work if this is their writing style, Love it !♡♡♡ <<less

As a fluff reader who enjoys relationship development with mature leads, I love this story.

MC (Ling qing) is strong one even a little blackbelly. Basically at start his behavior was due to misunderstandings as memories left by original MC was no good..

Wait till 5-6 chapters.. Don't misjudge sweetheart ml. Ori MC forced ML to marry him still ML behavior was like an angel.


ML (Yu chen) is such a sweetheart. An ideal husband to boot. He is possessive but never go yandre on MC rather tries to change himself. MC on otherhand tries to accomodate ML possessiveness.

For MC it's hard to fall in love due to his parents "indifference" for him so ML even though didn't knew but still always catered to all MC wishes for making MC secure in their relationship. ML is pure guy who has never fallen in love so to him he is learning and his learning is to do whatever MC asks him for to maintain their marriage.

Later with ML help MC came out of his past shadows left by his parents.

Both when started to treat their relationship seriously after clearing MC misunderstandings, start giving fluff. The took their marriage seriously and made efforts to work it through while falling in love with each other.

Mpreg isn't dealt much just 4-5 chapters at end so don't let go of a fluff story. Plus their son is an angel.

It isn't just senseless fluff. It starts with MC & ML working on their relationship, then mending some loose ends on MC family side (white lotus isn't MC bro, MC real bro is so cute) and MC career.

ML little cousins are so cute. ML even got jealous of his little cousins getting all attention of MC. He is just a little vinegar jar.

No antgst. Just pure relationship development, enjoyable read.

Comic elements come first from "misunderstandings" that last till 7 chapters, then MC "bullying" his white lotus brother, ML possessiveness, later MC "teaching" other actors..


There aren't any drags, as both leads believe in communication.
In this novel characters make the story. As the step by step fall in love for each other.

Well author focus is always leads story. Every story lead characters are different even though genre are same.

I smile silly whenever I read a new chapter update of any bl novel of author.

I hope translations are regular.

This is a pretty entertaining novel about a transmigrated ex-film emperor as he works to live peacefully in the novel that he's transmigrated to.

The romance is a little rocky in the beginning but their relationship is amicable.

Turns out that the original host's memory is unreliable so they start off with a misunderstanding. Additionally, MC closed off his feelings for many years and has difficulties accepting the feelings of anyone despite ML's love for him.

i really like how MC and ML keep their line smooth and clean, not like other ML who rush in for loving the MC. I specially like how they keep their communication without misunderstanding so far. At first I hate how MC lil bro act but after read his back story, I really want to cry. Real Ling Qing and his lil bro just a child who want to be loved by their parents, their family but not getting enough attention.

MC is confident just like the Qingchi in another novel with the same author but my issue with him is that he's too careless with other people? At first, its good because it helped in improving his relationship with ML but as he encounter other people, you'll see that he has no boundaries and doesn't care if his action affects the person or misunderstand his intentions. It reminds me of those "world protagonists" in a QT that purposely make other people fall for them just to make those people into... more>> a harem. He seems to be doing this even from his previous life because of the influence of his past. He has a hard time falling in love with people, so he could be just testing what he would feel for that person and if it wasn't enough then he just refuse them even though the person already fell, which makes him heartless and uncaring. For me, he doesn't think about other people at all. It feels uncomfortable seeing him intentionally/unintentionally take advantage of others even tho what they feel is fleeting and shallow, MC is still too confident that he can just refuse everyone since he doesn't easily get attached anyways. I feel like a bermuda grass sprouting in the MLs head isn't really far-fetched.

Also this is a personal preference but I don't like

sudden pregnancies, this is the 2nd time I read with author using this way for MCs to have children and both are in the entertainment industry. She probably thinks that its a good plotline to add but for me it just makes me feel anxious. Not that I don't like mpreg but I always want to see them achieve success first before that and make firm decision not just because the child is already there so they'll just have to accept it. I also hope his road to success won't get delayed because of this, I don't remember how it happened in the other novel but he still got the title and it was still a satisfying read but I can't have the same expectation for this one.

Fyi, I read 61 chapters of translated version, and the rest are MTL.

It was the right decision to read this novel and keep going.

I keep laughed out loud in the first 10 chapters. MC's Shamelessness was MAGNIFICENT!

... more>> And the rest of the story are not Disappointing.

Especially ML. He's one of the Best ML EVER!!!

At the beginning sure he seems a little Tsundere-like. Won't admit his affections through words, but shows it with Actions.

But when MC was in Emotional mode, he KNOWS what to do and to say. He holds him tightly and lovingly, and he wording out what MC need to hear. No question, no hesitation, he just DID!

MC may be Shameless, but does have that emotional mood, and ML truly the Best person who know how to Comfort and give the best of his Love to MC!

Anyway the rest of the story are Great!

No Evil Villains, and no Villains can't be defeated by MC intentionally or unintentionally. No exaggerating scenes. Everything was well paced and Very Very GOOD!!!

I'M ABSOLUTELY LOVING IT!!! FOREVER FOR THE ETERNITY AND BEYOND!!! <<less

This is absolutely a fluffy and Comedy one. As I am a fan of RomCom and showbiz this suit me. The communication between MC and ML is so good. First the misunderstanding and description can make new reader think this is a dog blooded novel. But obviously not so. Start from Ch 6 they declare the misunderstanding and time on time they feed dog food alot.

I think this cp can kiss alot haha 😆.

This is my favorite one 💖. Idk what to write so let me stop here hehe

And then I skipped to see what the ending is like. It's my personal preference but I don't like the white lotus ended up happy with the MC's real brother. It bothered me bcs I was hoping he wold be kicked out of the Ling family. I just don't like his. character

At first, I was convinced by a tons of positive reviews for this novel and so I tried to read this.

At the beginning, I love how the plot started of very funny and I can't stop laughing at MC's constant declaration of divorcing the ML for the few chapters and I totally binged read it until the MC and ML finally resolved their misunderstanding.

But then, as the plot goes further around 35 chapter, I gradually began to feel uninterested towards it and not fitting my appetite anymore. However, I still... more>> tried to hold on up to chapter 45 until I finally had the urge to write a review for this.

About the MC, although I feel a little uncomfortable (?) as he gradually began to act narcissistic, I don't really have any problems for him. He's pretty funny from the beginning, his constant teasing and flirt to ML always made me laugh of helplessness. For the ML, there's nothing so bad about him, I really appreciated how he began being devoted to his wife.

Their relationship was not bad, whenever there are misunderstandings it would be solved immediately in the blink of an eye. They're the epitome of a peaceful and healthy couple. It's just that, they get along pretty fast? Right after reading the summary of this novel, I expected things to be a little slow and I just want ML to keep working hard to gain his wife's trust whilst the MC would've kept complaining 'I want a divorce!' That would've been more exciting, I mean, that was also the title of this novel, right?Nevertheless, even if the misunderstandings were resolved a little fast, at least it smoothly ended before the two began getting along.

At most, my complaints are only directed to some background characters, for example, Ling Bai.

Ling Bai he.... I'm sorry to those who like him but I really want to say he's pretty s*upid it's starting to frustrate me a little. I don't like how his brain works. I know how important his presence is to keep the faceslap going but the Author should've give him some brain cells even a little bit?

In all, this novel is good. I love the constant bickering between the two couples and it's as if both brains are as one, each person's conversations always rhymes with the other.

The thing is, knowing how my standards is a little high which is a little problematic... This novel might not be a cup of tea for me. Of course I shouldn't judge this before finishing this since I'm still nearly at the half of the series but I really can't bear reading further anymore ;;;

Maybe I would just pick this up again one day to give justice to this story and give it a proper review~

I have read 4 of this author's novels. The first half of this novel is the best of her works. It's hilarious and interesting. The ML and MC both feels like 3D characters and the romance is great!

but the 2nd half is just a rehash of Transmigrated into the Film Emperor's Death-Seeking Fiance. This is incredibly lazy writing (which she also repeats partially for other novels). Obviously she only want the RMB without the effort. I am actually very upset at wasting money lol. If you have read Transmigrated into... more>> the Film Emperor's Death-Seeking Fiance before, just skip the 2nd half so that you won't feel aggrieved. If you have not, congrats! This is a wonderful novel. Just don't read her other works.

I will not be reading any more of this author's work. Good riddance. <<less

I very much liked this novel because of how funny and light hearted this is. It had potential to be a dog blood plot but it didn't and had a better end for every side character without ending it up in a bad ending. Not gonna lie they both had a rough start and I can see where they are coming from why they had a rough start. MC is one of the most matured but sassy protagonist I've read and he didn't chose revenge or let those who bullied... more>> him suffer because of what they did but chose to be wise about it and thinked of this as nothing or a child's play. He's very outspoken and may be too much of what he does but he knows best what to do in situations his in. MC didn't really liked ML at first besides his money and looks but at the middle and last part (and extra) he learned to love him with the ML's effort to loving MC besides the trauma he experienced in his childhood and I also liked the way they flirt is so sweet and has a smooth segway to flirt with each other. ML is a very misunderstood character here and his such a big teddy bear when they got together but he did some dumb sh*t at the beginning that made me roll my eyes but MC ain't gonna follow that and do his own shit. I do like how he really made an effort to understand MC and love him even if they had a rough start. ML turned out to be a sweet and caring guy but can be very jealous at first because MC and be selfish to force MC be with him at the start. Even though there was an mpreg at the end but I really liked it and it was a good end for it to finish for MC to have a loving and complete family and make more good memories with ML. <<less
