This is actually very cute and made me laugh out loud multiple times (not just exhale heavily in amusement lol). Binged it in one sitting, well worth the lack of sleep haha.

There aren't a bunch of schemes or braindead side women, just a progression of first him then her realizing what they have for the other is love. If you want some relief from scum/abusive ML and fake friend tropes, this is for you~

Warning you though that the FL is a weee bit dense in the emotional department, what we... more>> think is obviously love she is uh, convinced is brotherhood for quite awhile lol. <<less

This story was really good. The ML definitely had his work cut out for him with the MC lol. I laughed too many times.

Another transmigrated into a novel as a vicious, jealous women who bullies the ML and meets a bad ending novel. FL decides she's going to save her family from the bad ending. The first step is to curry favor and change her image on the eyes of the ML, who has been ab*sed, starved, mol*sted and toyed with, but her and her family.

There are only two types of FLs in these novels: there's the intelligent, bada$$ FLs who know how to manipulate the situation to change their reputation. Usually they're... more>> super OP but it's still enjoyable to see how they'll turn the situation around. The other type is the ditzy FL who rampages like a bull in a China shop, not trying to hide her change in personality, but focusing completely on righteously fixing the story. While doing so she somehow manages to hook everyone with her naive, lovable charm 🤮 Our FL is this type.

She's innocent, easily deceive and a busybody who sticks her nose into everyone's business (regardless of if they welcome her appearance or not). She's so clumsy and mentally inept that every situation somehow becomes worse than the original event. In short, she's an accidental troublemaker. Sometimes this leads to funny scenarios where FL inevitably ends up putting her foot in her mouth, but most of the time I just found her personality annoying.

The ML is your usual cold, ruthless, C-novel hero. He's pretending to be weak and low key, but it's actually a rich and powerful man. He is initially disgusted by and suspicious of FL, but comes to be interested in her due to her sudden personality shift. He drinks quite a bit of vinegar when he sees her being kind to others (when she was originally so vicious to him), but why he cares about her isn't clearly explained.

Overall, the story was entertaining but nothing special. I can't stand this kind of FL so I'm dropping it, but of you don't mind these kind of too s*upid to live FLs, than I can recommend this story. <<less

I tried really hard to read it, and I'm not sure it's the translation or writing but I found the FL decisions is like a teenager rather than an adult. I mean who would take ML as a bodyguard to show that she is trying to help his 'white monlight' and to a brothel of all places. This is too attention seeking.

I feel that the author needs a little more life experience, particularly with understanding human nature. There is too much naivety. For example, the FL is a dignified prime... more>> minister daughter but her decisions and behaviour is simply unrealistic. E.g. Giving food to the ML, it is day one transmigration into the novel. First, punishing him and then personally giving him food was too naive.

I know they are ancient people but surely they're not s*upid. Too many loopholes. A definite pass for me. <<less

Why did I waste my time on this?!

This is the typical trope of dumb female lead who embarrass herself in every turn and the op male lead who watches the fun.

Except the female lead here wasn't cute or funny at all. She was scatter-brained, bird-brained, airhead and annoying. I was counting the chapters to when it'll end. I didn't like the hero either. Period.

Even brain-dead novels has some guidelines to follow. But this novel is a mess. It pisses me off even more that the historical tag is attached to... more>> it when the novel could've been in a modern settings and it wouldn't change anything.

I am not even going to elaborate more elements that was just straight up bad in the novel. Bookstagram disappointed me so many times and now NU reviews also played with me🙂🙂🙂 <<less

A simple read, no huge drama, no setbacks, yet somehow was an enjoyable read.

Really liked the FL. She was kinda dumb, not dumb in a dumb way, but just silly dumb, if that makes sense. It made some hilarious moments between her and the ML.

The ML, well, is just ur usual cold, super strong, rich and competent lead. Everything he does goes well and unimpeded - everything expect dealing with FL. Just love as he slowly falls for the FL, he gets defeated by her "impeccable" logic xD.

The story had potential but I’m not too sure if it’s the writing or the translation that’s just made it hard for me to enjoy reading it.

Hmm not too sure how I should describe it but the flow of the story was a bit awkward in writing.

It is an entertaining novel, there were parts that made me laugh, but it is not the funniest novel either, I would have liked the author to write more about the feelings and past of ML, that part was short.

Another thing that doesn't quite suit me is the fact that he ends up getting along with the whole Jiang family well, I understand that he has got on well with Jiang Liangchang, because he realizes that she is no longer the real Miss Jiang, but that does not make him get along with her brother, although I love Jiang Yunting's idiocy, it does not mean that he behaved badly at first and he never apologizes, I really liked the evolution he has as a character the brother, from a spoiled rich boy to a mature young man, another thing that is not understood well or well I did not understand, was the fact that the father wants to marry her hastily, before the brothers messed with the prince I do not understand the rush of wanting to marry her. I would have liked more interaction on the part of father and daughter, that part is always empty...

This novel is too cute! The FL train of thought is very refreshing. She's trying to avoid the death trap of her family by trying to "save" the plot of the novel by fixing up the problems surrounding the ML. It is hilarious in how the ML misinterpreted her actions.

This is my 2nd reread while trying to catch up to the latest release.. Initally I rated this a 4 ☆ which shows this novel has good potential.. But while rereading I was doubting myself rating it that high..

I didn't really agree with the FL's decision making. I get that she fears the ML and her plot ending but she overthinks it and it's not cute (well, except for the ML who finds this "cute"). I really hate it when FL has already been told not to do this thing... more>> but still insists on doing it. I feel like she's a pre-teen but she's a grown adult that survived without her family's support. She's supposedly tougher than this.

The ML already explained to FL that his "moonlight" is not really his "moonlight". And ML directly telling her to cut it with the matchmaking. But nope, she stubbornly believes he just didn't fall in love yet and still tried to matchmake. It's making me want to pull my hair out.

Although, the author has some good points on the butterfly effect on the plot, but it seemed she missed out another scenario and that is not to interfere too much. Anywho, I'm dropping this. It's a 3 because it's still readable. <<less

A shorter version of Doomed to be a Cannon Fodder.

Jiang Liangchan transmigrated and realized she and her family were on the losing side. At first, she tried to follow the original path to the T while at the same time changing the fate of her and her family. She worked hard because her mother looked the same as her mother in her previous life. She even made a pact with the protagonist, Chen Fang, for a getaway card. If the trajectory still followed the same route, she wanted... more>> to save at least her mother.

Chen Fang was flabbergasted because the intel he got on the Jiang family was different than what meets the eye. Jiang Liangchan and her brother were both silly at best and even though he wanted to stay away from them, their antics made him tired and yet warm in his heart.

The translation was on hiatus and I carried on using MTL. <<less

uhmm the title kinda confusing. Anyways our FL does not have a system or any mission. She just know the main story of the novel and she figures it by herself on what to do after. Do take note that her thinking is kinda bound to the original story settings ok, give her time to face reality. Although have some misunderstandings ML Already knows fl's weirdness haha ML do faces FL straightforwardlly why her actions are like that. In the end ML straights up confesses to FL his feelings to... more>> have her not be confused of her own makeup stories from orginal novel story. AS For being flirtatious?? Nope FL is not though her actions do gives ML her cute side at the same time ml's tired with fl's antiques hahaha. FL's father was a prime minister, she doesnot have a general father but FL do have a younger brother. Her younger brother is kinda naive but with proper teaching he became a god young general. Anyways a good bg quick story. <<less

It’s a funny story. The heroine is very ditzy lol. I find it endearing but I can see it can be annoying for some people. She is a very soft not very smart or bright one but she does put a lot of thought and effort in trying to abort the initial plot of the novel. The FL’s brother is the typical spoiled brat but with a tofu heart and a cursing mouth. The ML is alright, has all qualities and charms a ML should have.
