First, I think the mystery tag should be added, as we are exposed to some mysteries that we wonder about while following our main character.

Second, I liked this story. I found it well-written and intriguing, making you want to know more about the world's mysteries, the villain's motives, and the main character's past. Plus, I found the potatoes extremely adorable; I love how they call the main character "Grandpa" and the female lead "Grandma." So cute! I wish we got more of them.

The story is pretty good~ The interactions between characters are believable and the MC is just amazingly well thought out. He's relatable and not a cold monster who kills without blinking.

There are no brainless cliches like immortal cultivation-based power systems, face slapping, or arrogant young master as of the current chap where I read. It's all just magic and a Western fantasy-like world.

Suprisingly good for such a silly premise. Subverts quite a few standard tropes in a logically consistent manner and is highly entertaining.

I'm glad this is my first epic/high fantasy. It was a fun journey but keeping up with the characters was a lot while getting introduced to the setting. Nonetheless, the plot is still pretty solid.
