I was reborn into the world of my favorite breeding game.

I raised the main character myself for the happy ending I couldn’t see in my previous life…

“Sister. I don’t want to marry the prince.”

What am I supposed to do if you say this at the end?

Maybe I'm judging this novel too early, but I really don't like how MC acts...

There are several points in the novel where I find MC's behaviour gives off red flags.

First is in the first chapter where she's describing her experience with the game she reincarnated into. The game is about raising a girl and has around 30 endings (I think it's similar concept to the game Volcano Princess if you know it). However, the MC describes every ending beside the ending where the girl marries the prince as a bad... more>> ending. Girl becomes a brilliant mage? Bad ending. Girl becomes an adventurer and explores the world? Bad ending. She even complains that the girl should just stay put and do what she wants instead.

At this point, I can still tolerate it. I can even understand her feelings. It's frustrating when the game you're playing doesn't do what you expect it to do.

But after MC gets reincarnated into the game, her behaviour somehow becomes creepier to me. Feel free to disagree but... I really don't like the way MC handles things.

Second red flag. So, MC saves the girl who you're supposed to raise in the game and then named her Serena. At this point, Serena still doesn't trust MC, which makes sense given her tragic background. But what does MC do to make Serena like her?

Spoiler

She forces her to go out with her. Like actually take her by the hand and just drag her out. MC does acknowledge that it was bad of her to do that, but she also said "Serena forced her to do this" which is absolutely WILD. I don't know about you but that sounds like something an abusive person would say.

[collapse]

Yeah, MC buys Serena, who is still a child by the way, a toy and Serena thanks her for it. But does it really make her actions better?

Seriously... If MC wanted to make Serena like/trust her more, there are a billion other ways that are better than that.

Third and biggest red flag. This is the reason I dropped this series. MC talks as if she's entitled to Serena's love because according to her "she's the one who wanted to meet Serena the most" and "she's the one who cherishes her the most." Completely disregarding the fact that she's a complete stranger in Serena's point of view.

I don't know how to describe it well, but the author kind of writes the MC like she's a male protagonist in a shitty romance novel that's heavy on the male gaze. Like... I don't know... The vibe she gives off... However, I could be too biased in my opinion.

Also lets not forget the

Spoiler

g*ooming. Yeah, yikes.

I don't know if Serena is actually the FL or not because I haven't read that far. But from the way the summary is written and the way MC acts, there's a 90% chance Serena is the FL. And since MC is raising her... Well.... Look, I just hope I'm wrong and MC's love interest is someone her age.

[collapse]

Anyway, I would not recommend it. But feel free to read of you don't mind any of the points I raised above or feel like I'm exaggerating. Read what you want.

Personally, I'm dropping this. <<less
