I just can't with the "food banquet"at the concert hall. Like, people BOUGHT TICKETS just to see people EAT. I had a hard time reading that part because I was in a "wtf-phase." I get that there's mukbang but to BUY tickets just so you could SMELL food...

The weird thing is, as I am writing this review, I'm realizing that it SOMEHOW MAKES SENSE????? Like, if you've been deprived of something and you're curious about it, you'll pay good money for it. So essentially, people bought tickets so they could get the UNDERSTANDING of what the new product is and maybe use it so that they can do it themselves.

Like he's not a guy? I feel like this isn't clear. I'm not sure if it's a gender identity thing or he presents as both, but they way they handle it isn't very good. Honestly this is more of a gender bender on transmigration than yaoi. If you consider him a trans man, which he efficiently is, it's yaoi I guess. Idk that may disappoint some people.

the original owner of MCs new body died by jumping from a building because he never awakened. He choose to study plants at the college, which is not popular because there isn’t much of vegetables in this world - it’s too expensive because the soil is not fertile. When MC transmigrated, he needed money, so, he ended up working as a caretaker. Due to his plant system, he has strong affinity with the beasts (because of the nature aura - and beasts are close to the nature.

so, yes, he knows about plants because he has a plant system, he graduated in plants because his body’s original owner choose this career. And he ended up working as a caretaker at first because that gave him what he needed: money to pay the bills and gratitude points to recover his plant system. And the fact that the beasts feel comfortable around him is what helped him get this job.

then he has to look for the energy that escaped from his system. Those energies affected the plants and beast around it and MC felt responsible. Also, those beats have high IQ, they just don’t speak human language. Eventually those beasts decided to star streaming to have money to pay for their accommodations and the things they wanted. MC helped them, but most of the time he leaves the beasts to take care of it alone (the cameras are fixed) and he himself is not the one showing his life there at all. When they find out MC was pregnant, he was having a meet and greet with the beasts. He would never willingly let people know he is a female - even why he himself doesn’t quite accept this.

oh, and about he being a female and not accepting is quite simple. He always thought about himself as a man and grow up in a world like ours, that biological woman and men have different s*xual organs. In this new world he went to, all people looks like men and the only difference is that female tends to be smaller, weaker and can have babies. But to MC, he looks exactly the same as always, have the same s*xual organs he always did, but suddenly someone told him he is a female and that he can have babies - things he never wished. So, yeah, he doesn’t take this really well.

Like, how did his dad die, was he actually mu*dered by Soria and the Cox family? If yes, then why? I think it was mentioned that Meyer wanted a son and probably got with ML's dad for that but they kept ML as a bastard and kept hinting how they should have killed him too. I mean, if birthrates were so damn low in the interstellar era, having an extra son is just insurance. Also Meyer seems to be deeply in love with Soria, so his cheating with ML's dad just doesn't make sense! And Uncle Sotoko is Soria's blood brother, in what universe would ML actually think Sotoko would be a nice, caring uncle to him given the relationship complexities. It just doesn't make sense and none of the reasoning is ever explained. Even if ML held a grudge against the Cox family... it doesn't explain him wanting to destroy the world either?

For example, the energy the MC had to find could be especially impactful individual arcs. How he gets these energies and the description of scenes when absorbing could be made more exciting. It just felt like it was something very basic considering how important it is to the MC's life, the only energy I felt any special emotion was when they had to cut off a beast's horn to get hold of it. I felt that this "arc" was especially detailed and constantly developing.

Other moments that could have been more emotional; ML finding their contracted beast, MC and ML have further development before definitively getting together, exploring more the contracts, the system and the world building itself.

MC. Xie Sen. Previously in apocalypse world, now he and his plant system transmigrated to interstellar/beastman/contract beast world. Plant system was weak because saving MC life, so their mission is to gather 5 type energy to stabilize MC. This plant system help MC be friendly with contract beast since it calms them. Female in beastworld.

ML. Maine. Grow up loveless, very insecure and doting towards MC. MC found out that he could be the villain of the world so MC approached him but fell in love together. Contract beast is flying lion that somehow is still unnamed... Male

Long Teng. Original protag of the world, fearless and likes to fight. Likes Bai Jiao. Male

Bai Jiao. Specialty is medicine, cold and aloof but caring. Female

Male and female, male typically 190 cm and big muscly like alpha, while female is man 180cm but can get pregnant like ger or omega.

People already evolved so they cannot change into beast but can have contracted beast instead, while their ancestor can shapeshift between beast and human.

Contract beast is smarter the higher the level. They can make contract with the people if sync rate over 50 pt.

The world cannot grow plants so they mostly eat beast or meat (dont ask how they can farm the animals without feed... Maybe they can eat human inedible plants like grass? And grass no problem growing?). There is forest but full of inedible plants, but farming plant is impossible since the soil wont grow plants even with fertilizer.

when we thought energy gathering is complete but turns out still needs 1/5 more of the water energy.

Since MC and ML started getting together, the charas are getting a bit bland and routine is repetitive with MC going to work with cb, livestream, go home to cook, while ML working, etc and then rinse and repeat. Sometimes MC gets harmed or kidnapped in a way, then ML saves him and retaliate, then MC said he doesnt need ML protection, then ML insecure because afraid MC will leave him. This happened quite a few times. The occasional trips to gather energy is the fun part, but it also has repetitive element where they end up getting more famous/revered and bring home plant and more cb.
