I really like it, but sometimes, I can't stop myself from thinking that wouldn't it hurt more for the person who cherish someone in their memories to forget about them? Every time the world ends with the Mc's and Ml's existence being forgotten, I always felt somewhat uncomfortable and bothered. It was as if they never existed in the first place, and what about those people that were really close to them but would later forget them unknowingly. It was as if the world is automatically erasing their existence to the mind of these who were left alone, without even giving them the right to cherish it or recall it in their hearts, especially if the people in those memories were a huge part of their life, like their goal to live on or to do their best to achieve something. For me, it's better to still remember them, even though it hurts, at least, you'll know that they indeed existed. It feels crueler to forget someone unknowingly, especially if they are really important, just imagine what those people who have forgotten would feel if they somehow remembered, remembering how they've forgotten unknowingly the people they've hold very dear to their hearts, wouldn't that bring an even more greater pain? Because, since those memories contributed in a huge part of their life, it was as if a portion of their soul had also been taken out, just like what Yang Wenya mentioned, that even if they live without those painful memories of MC and ML, they would feel as though something was missing in their life. No matter what they do in their life, they wouldn't be able to achieve a true happiness without worries, because they didn't even know what they've lost in the first place as they weren't aware of it. Besides, even if some memories do have some painful parts in it, we couldn't deny the fact that the reason that made us who we are now are the experiences and happiness along with it, a fleeting moment of happiness can remain forever in one's heart as long as they remember it.

They could finally have their own happy ending.

I think the world they transmigrate into are just created by the main system once needed (the system's task is to bring two people torn apart by fate together; in this case the MC and ML of the real world) and the MC treated it as a game.... though a rated one ?

ML loves the MC, why else would he accept the (suspicious) other system's offer to join him on his journey?

In the first world which they failed, (which was not completely shown) ML acted even more caring and pampering to MC which made MC go OOC because it reminded him of his long time crush (ML) and MC failed to play out his role. As such, both were given a punishment/penalty.

ML is penalized with forgetting his memories of the next worlds (only remembering that first failed world) and he must live the life of the character till his natural death.

All ML's roles are meant to be s*um (though his system said his role is to make MC happy... did they read how thirsty MC was? ? jk. I have no clue). The irredeemable kind of s*um in this world full of dogblood and sketchy relationships. ML didn't like the roles either nor did he enjoy the roles (he even softened at the second world while about to force MC). But looking at how hard MC is working to keep his character intact and how dedicated he was to keep acting, ML has to work hard too. He also wants MC to be brought back to life at their original world.

MC, on the other hand, was meant to make sure the protagonists of that world live a good life while playing his role properly.

During his first failed mission, he got attached to its people (ML who was in a s*um role) and ended up falling for him and answering his advances which was against his role. Mind that failure would lead to death of MC, so he was bothered. Using the system's advice, he focused on his role and though of it as a simulation game... hence his very casual and off-handed approach to the worlds.

MC has always been in love with one person only and he proves it by his decision in the last world. In a world were everything around you is great, where every horrible experiences you had became the exact opposite, and where you have numerous friends and your feelings are reciprocated, MC was given a choice to continue living there or return to a world, his world, which was lonely and quite frankly lacking in all aspects. He chose to go back and face everything even the loss of his beloved person.

They have mutual feelings. Though they turned more manic as the experience had to have changed them living all those years in those roles.

? I wonder who the hell selects the roles to be given to the hosts? And how the hell where they expecting this to work in fixing two together?
