[Mind Reading + Pet of the Group + Transmigration into a Book + System + Pretending to be Weak to Strike Powerful Enemies + Cannon Fodder’s Counterattack]

Xiao Chuchu transmigrated with a palace scheming system and foreknowledge about the future into the early-passing cannon fodder princess in the book.

Her Father Emperor would be poisoned to death, her Mother Consort forced to die in burial with Father Emperor, her elder brother and entire maternal family – loyal officials – would meet cruel fates!

The Xiao Dynasty would soon be destroyed under the new Emperor’s hand.

[Mother Consort ah, you did not fight or snatch, yet still incurred the jealousy of the Imperial Noble Consort, who issued an order for you to be buried alive with Father Emperor!]

[Elder brother ah, accomplished in both civil and military affairs, yet still viewed with suspicion by the new Emperor after Father Emperor’s death, plotted against and killed at the border pass.]

[Maternal grandfather ah, clean and honest your whole life yet still falsely charged by the new Emperor with six major crimes, your whole family exiled and killed!]

[Father Emperor ah, you were poison-swapped and killed while concocting elixirs and seeking the Dao by the Imperial Consort. After your death, the new Emperor abolished old laws, killed hundreds of loyal officials, imprisoned top generals, borders lost, people struggling to survive! Our ancestors’ legacy destroyed in less than two years!]

As Xiao Chuchu suckled milk, her Father Emperor, Mother Consort, elder brother, and maternal grandfather were all dumbstruck.

[Oh no, it’s over.]

Xiao Chuchu lamented that she was but a baby, able to do nothing.

But very quickly she noticed something amiss –

Her Mother Consort, rising higher and higher in rank, Noble Lady, Concubine, Consort, Noble Consort…much favored among the six palaces.

Her elder brother, originally unrelated to the throne, was established as Crown Prince.

Her maternal grandfather’s family, quite valued and relied upon…

Her Emperor Father still hadn’t died!

On the contrary, the treacherous Empress, Consorts, and new Emperor met their ends prematurely…?

How could things turn out this way?

Xiao Chuchu didn’t understand.

Soon her Father unified six nations ahead of time, opened maritime prohibitions, started mutual markets, took the Silk Road…the Xiao Dynasty rose to great power!

Overall it was great. MTL'd the rest of the chapters. The reason it was 4 stars is because the ending was quite... Underwhelming, it just feels lacking in some way, well, this might just be my preference/opinion, I've often had this problem on many novels I read so don't mind me.

Very cute child rearing novel, the family is lovely and loves each other, the palace intrigue in practically zero, doting emperor father. The fact that the family tries to conceal that they can hear her thoughts is super funny, the emperor thinks that he is the only one who coud hear her and it adds to the fun. I really liked it, recommended.

It's a fine read if you want to turn off your brain, but it's such a pity that it ends on MC still being a baby. I didn't expect a completely CP-less novel, I want at least a perfunctory male lead in an extra — in this state it's way too pitiful.

As for the contents, following words: fake it till you make it. This novel is full of incompetent people jumping up and down pretending to be competent. It's fun for a while. The whole country was reborn based on MC's golden finger, and MC stayed clueless about the fact that like a solid half of the people around her can hear her thoughts, despite them blurting them out in three seconds or less after hearing. It's like they didn't even try to conceal it. Ah, no matter — no one ever promised that MC's brains didn't degrade to the level of a newborn baby, it's understandable. But frustrating.

I don't understand how a novel with such an interesting premise could be so excruciatingly boring. I should have spent the last 2 hours studying instead...

The first few chapters were good! But after that, every chapter seems to just be a copy and paste with different characters in similar situations.

MC: thinks

Relative characters: !!!

Each chapter I've read is basically 70% MC thought dialogue perfectly rencountering EVERYTHING. At this point, why not just give the MC photographic memory or something?

I skimmed chapter 130 and MC is still a baby, and there's still blocks of MC inner monologue. In all seriousness, I recommend finding another novel or simply closing the browser to pursue your childhood dreams.

I believe reading another chapter of this novel could quite possibly put me to sleep eternally. But maybe I'll give it another... zzz... zzz... <<less

lighthearted read that's not meant to be taken seriously or viewed as historically accurate. The entire series takes place within the time span of the MC being a one month old baby up til her first birthday. For me, I just think it's cute that a man in his early thirties who's meant to be the most powerful man in the country becomes obsessed with his infant daughter, even if it's because he mistakes her as a heavensent celestial.

there are mild homophobic undertones in one of the later arcs, but... more>> personally I feel like the issue is more about who the homos*xual is rather than the fact he's homosexual.

none of the concubines end up in the cold palace. The empress is still the empress. Presumably out of respect for her father, the emperor shows no interest in divorcing the empress; however, even at the end she hasnt given up on her son being named crown prince and probably will end up in the cold palace if not divorced if she catches wind that concubine liu's son is the crown prince because she cannot act maturely despite her status. The emperor's relationship with concubine liu is more akin to a trusted confidant than the traditional role of a concubine, and I would have liked to see them develop more of a couple vibe, but regardless: even if she stays as a concubine, when her son becomes emperor she will be the empress dowager regardless of the presence of empress tong.

other things left open ended or unresolved:

    • lower concubine chen is never brought up again, and concubine min moves to concubine liu's palace after she's promoted, so presumably shes just stuck being a nobody in a harem the emperor largely ignores.
    • while one arc makes it clear that the fifth prince wins the respect of most of the other princes, its not known if the crown prince ever realizes his mother's folly or if the third prince attempts to reform himself.
    • the MC is considered the third princess but its not mentioned if the other princesses have passed away or if the author deliberately excluded them from the novel.
    • min rou's daughter is apparently the future crown princess/empress but shes never named or talk about beyond the arc where min rou leaves her husband.
    • the king of chu has a good relationship with his empress but its not known how she reacted or felt after presumably learning her son tried to kill his dad twice in order to keep his position as crown prince. I would have liked to know since she was one of the reasons the prince grew up selfish and out of control.

This story is good, great even. The translations are good enough.

The imperial harem and their rivalry. Seems like we just forgot them along the way. What happened to the other consorts, concubines and the empress? The rivalry of the princes? What about the OG protagonists? We never heard a sliver of these guys till the end.

At least there should be twenty more chapters addressing all the unanswered issues and a glimpse to the future, a timeskip of sorts. But I guess this will do. <<less

I liked this novel at first, and till now it's not bad, but I got bored.

Seriously it's the same things going for 72 chapters that I read! Nothing new, nothing may make me want to read more!

I have read "After Transmigrating into a Book, My Father Emperor Could Hear My Inner Voice" before and it was so good and I liked it so much that's way I thought about reading this one, but then I felt bored later.

And the cover picture for the novel is deceptive. The FL is infant... more>> child all the novel, she won't grow up.

I actually liked the changes of the princes. But sadly we have too little about them. <<less

The sole reason as to why the MC transmigrated was to spoon fed everything to her family and voila, all the issues that caused either their downfall or death were immediately resolved.

One of the most boring and nonsensical novel I've read. Moreover, the author seems to be incapable of writing any intricacy on the plot. Everything was just utterly superficial.

This is an interesting story to read in your spare time. When you are bored with the suffocating romantic storyline. But I'm a bit dissatisfied with the ending, because I hope there will be a continuation regarding the excitement of our MC growing up.

4 stars because Author, it isn't fair that

only the Emperor gets to collect all five loyal followers while FL's mother and brother were only halfway there.

Almost everyone have the same sentiment as me—it's too short. At least give us that satisfying ending wherein all FL's concerns (tragedies from the novel) get resolved. Can you pick this up, again? Huehue.

This is such an enjoyable read I’m a sucker for romance but this novel even without it still kept me entertained throughout.

The title should be change though from my father to my family since all her family members could hear her thoughts

As with any kingdom building story, this novel has the same pros and cons.

The story is about a young reincarnated girl Chuchu. She's an infant yet her family can hear her thoughts, and through these thoughts, the family improve the country in various industries and improve the country strength.

It's an interesting and well written story, but the kingdom building here is subpar.

... more>> The main driving point here is using modern technology and modern concepts to improve the country of ancient times.

Chuchu has a system that does a lot of things, but even the prizes are targeted towards improving the country's strength. The only prize she got that enhanced her was a scent power that made people smarter, other than that, most of her prizes and system purchases are books on improving national strength.

So, it gets boring after some chapters, the novelty of the story fades and you only see how similar and unoriginal the developments are to other novels with the same idea of improving an ancient China through modern knowledge.

Chuchu is a cute character, though she's still an infant so you don't see interactions between her and others.

Other characters have a superficial personality.

Interaction are mainly about improving the country, or problems that get solved using the ideas of Chuchu and how it improved the country and so on.

The plot is heavily invested in the problems and solutions for improving the country, it neglects actual heartfelt interaction and it does not let us readers see how the characters behave.

All we read is about how someone heard Chuchu's idea and they implement said idea, there's opposition and face slapping with results most of the time.

Despite the shortcomings of this novel, I enjoyed it.

That's why I'm rating it as 4.

If you're idle and want a lighthearted read where it's about an oblivious little infant that's slipping modern knowledge without knowing anyone listens to her thoughts, only to see her ideas being implemented, and while most of the story is not focused on the baby but rather on other characters carrying the tasks........ Then this story might hit your spot. <<less
