Comments: Chu Xinian is interesting, he's the type of author who goes to work in a funeral parlor just to be more accurate in his novels. I felt the tension on this arc where there is a little more stake facing off against the antagonists. I was glad I stuck with this novel when I finished this arc. I like the potential side CP hahaha

Zerg World

Comments: I like how the author always mentions spilled water in this arc (if you know, you know hehehe) I find it funny when Tang Yan bullies his cheap father, maybe because I have a bad habit of teasing people so I find him cute. There are 2 side CPs on this arc, iirc

If you liked the settings on this arc, I also recommend the author's other completed novel '虫族之我来自远方'. It features multiple gong protagonists transmigrating into the Zerg world after a bus accident. It's not yet listed here on novelupdates but you can find it on Zhenhunxiaoshuo. The vibe is kind of similar to this novel but it has an interesting take on the Zerg world. I hope you give it a try and find the 'Little Yellow Duck Tour' group as likeable as Little Kingkong and the others hahahaha

Comments: I was sitting on the edge of my seat for this one. Didn't expect a surpise a couple of pages in, I had an inkling the Shou is reborn and I got it right. That explained why the blackening value reached 99.9999%, Editor Meng almost got annihilated. This arc deals with guilt, regretting how you didn't believe someone and injustice against the innocent. MZS and SYS were neighbors in a dilapidated apartment where a lot of mu*ders occured, SYS got wrongly accused because he seemed suspicious and was found on the mu*der scene of his family. MZS later moved out and heard news of SYS's passing later on. The image of a teenager sitting on a wheelchair holding a pot of sunflower thanking him before he moved out left a deep imprint on his mind, he wasn't able to write anymore after that and was obsessed with solving the mu*der. This one left the most impression on me even if I knew some might find it lacking. There are plotholes but I don't like spending too much brain power when I read so I'm fine

Entertainment World

Comments: I didn't know you can do this type of thing this way hahaha I found it refreshing after the last arc, the feeling is similar to listening to 'Haus of Holbein' after 'Heart of Stone' for musical fans hahaha JL wrote an autobiography, and who will be the villain, if not his rival? The arc with a villain who has the lowest blackening value, but JL has the talent of raising it bwahaha Although some readers might find the writing on this arc redundant, I still enjoyed it a lot. What I found more interesting is that the side CP is actually Jiang Long's younger self x Reborn Older shou! What a refreshing twist! It comes to mind how different a person we are compared to who we were back then.

Ancient Times

Comments: I found it funny how RX had a feeling he must get out of the author circle because a lot of authors were dying recently, but he still couldn't get out fast enough hahaha He got inspired by old kdramas so the world book he got transmigrated into is one bwahahaha I also found the side CPs cute here

Infinite Game World

Comments: I cried on this one a lot more compared to others. Maybe because the plot twist caught me off guard. JWM got transmigrated into his novel, but the thing is, he forgot the plot because of his illness. My dirty mind thought it's gonna be a reverse harem or something because he needs to save four villains on this one (T__T) This arc deals with a fate more terrible than death, let this excerpt explain to you:

The reason why humans differ from other animals is precisely because they have unique memories and emotions. Every memory is special, which makes them unique in the world. If one day your memory is gradually eroded by the years, and you forget everything in the past, first your family and friends, then your likes and dislikes, and finally yourself... You lie on the bed, not knowing hunger or fatigue, just relying on instinct to keep on breathing. Then this body has gradually become an empty shell. Because when a person's memory disappears, his soul also dies...

That is a disease more terrible than death.

JWM once said, he always forgets the things he wanted to remember. In the end, he chose to not remember anything and I can feel his frustration and helplessness. This arc also deals with the wronged innocents and not letting oneself be a bystander in front of the injustice happening in front of you. I thought at first that JWM was a bit naive and has a hero complex or something because he wanted to spend a resurrection card on NPCs. Turns out his forgotten past plays a major role in the story, and the four villains he needs to keep alive by the end of the game are actually all undead. They were the wronged NPCs. At that point, I didn't care if I was too naive to ask for a happy ending, I just want all the characters to be happy. JWM is the only author to return alive in the original timeline

Cultivation World

Comments: SFW grew up alone by himself watching his parents' loveless marriage. A master of the seduction game, an expert in all things yellow. He's the only author to almost kill the original protagonist in only half a day after meeting them. I actually agree with him when he thought that people with the shou's character when in love only exists in fiction, impossible in real life. I think that's why I am single. I can never believe in the idea of an actual human being liking the real me. This one's theme is about how sincerity can move someone's heart.

In lack of prospective authors to bind, Little Kingkong goes on a mission and finds himself a villain in need of love.

Comments: Shou writes a sort of autobiography as some type of his su*cide note. He's a lonely soul traumatized and blinded by his mother. Little Kingkong is the perfect pairing to soothe his tortured heart. The last chapters had a bit more dog blood than I was expecting for an arc with a sunny gong

I find it funny how the authors pull each other into the pit, recommending people they know. I love how Little Kingkong has a little brother type of dynamic with the authors, which is one of the highlights of the last arc.

I cried nonstop the moment he return to the reality, I felt his frustration, his friend not believing him, and no one to turn to otherwise they'll tell his dreaming only. Him banging the window really give me a sense of panic and heartbreak, same for the ml, mygod his just a pitiful child, he just need to love- NO he only want someone to love him.. such a small thing turn his life in the original downhill, this began his obsession.

as for the ending of the arc.. I can't imagine how he feel at the moment when others deny or forgotten that they know the MC, it must've been like being took to heaven only to be pushed down to hell. I can't- he really loves him... Knowing that his not crazy but everyone treats him like one is so painful to read. I cried rivers..

really fun, the historical one is full of rollercoaster for the ml, his life is so tragic, his death in the original is so sad, also the prince life. At first I thought that his a type of empty headed prince, lol but his good. also the our MC is really kind of OP, because he studied medicine and used to work on funeral. The ML background revealing is so like I said tragic, imagine your own mother ruining you for the sake of your safety and dying Infront of a 13 yr old child. His family was implicated and was killed, only this child survived yet still experience a painful life, not even achieving his goal in the original.. yeah but eventually the MC change his perspective in his own self, he is still him, he (MC) promised (Ml) to never forget that he is lanting. So sweet. <3

can be said interstellar "insect" actually this one has lots of plot holes but I just didn't want to really dig in, the husband of ML in the original didn't actually get his retribution, the blackening is actually his trying to escape from his faith, it's actually sweet for the MC to search for roses in whole capital just to propose.

the ML had rebirth, re remember his original life

I was surprised but not too surprised by how hateful the original protagonist was. Still, I felt relieved that he was written that way instead of him turning out differently than what the author expected. Still, MC has tried to a certain extent to save his Protagonist as well, but alas, somethings can't be helped.

The cases MC worked on and the crown prince were the better part of this arc, didn't like romance much.

I liked the romance part best in this novel, especially the MC's father.

MC transmigrates into a world similar to his, in the past, but not the same world, a parallel world, I say. It was an amazing arc, not much to spoil.

MC is reborn in another body and meets his younger self. Not only was it funny, but seriously, MC's younger self was something 💀.

Not much to spoil here either, just didn't feel right not to add a spoiler here when all arc had one.

MC has narcolepsy (Causes selective amnesia and constant sleepiness). My guy forgot what his novel is about. Besides, this is the only arc where the MC went back.

Almost gave up on this arc, good thing I didn't, cause this ML turned out to be my 2nd favorite.

Gotta say that ML of this arc is my least favorite; he was fine at first and is still fine, but I hate that kinda of jealousy he shows after he got together with MC
