A reallty great and heart warming story. Some the chapters are true to heart and make you cry.

Chang An is a really strong person inside and out. He tried his best to survive on his own until he met Qing Yan.

The ending may had an unexpected twist but still its's good to read such a happy ending.

Imean to give 5*. Sorry bout that. It's my first time reviewing.

I've read so many stories, and I realize there are so many bombastic parts most authors wrote which lost the realism touch. And, this is the most realistic revenge story main the sweet but very observing MC.

The mc's personality is constant, with proper development. Just because he's out for revenge, the it's not like the MC can suddenly go overboard strong. The MC becomes strong through his feeling and others around him, which help him to realize his... more>> revenge. Plus, having a suddenly op MC being a WangFei when he's used to be a lowkey person never sit right with me. It's just too obvious that the MC will always win no matter through argument or fight. It's boring to have predictable plot.

Next, I like how there are unpredictable mystery in the mind of each characters. Though the progress of the story is quite cliche, but the different action done by all the characters in this story make it great. While reading it, I can't help to keep thinking 'who?!''whyyy?!!'. Everyone is like a mystery who are slowly being unraveled as I read along.

And finally, the development between MC and ML is slow but worth to wait for. It's realistic for two people who never met before to react when they suddenly being married, plus manxman when they're both straight. But still, I wish the author put more effort in developing the two mains before all the twists come in so that it'll help later on for the MC to realize his like in the middle of the twist, it won't be too sudden. But at least, there's mpreg tag. So I don't mind nyahahaha. <<less

Althought ot has imperial days setting, the conflicts are actually pretty light. I would give it 5 stars but both the MC and ML make me frustrated on earlier chapters. The ending also seems pretty rushed for me.

Read through this in a couple days, the translation is rough at parts and incomprehensible at others, but just skim past it. The plot doesn't bare much scrutiny and a lot of motivating action happens off screen, but just focus on the MC and ML being cute instead. The couple interactions are just *kisses fingers* so cute. There's tropes and handwaving, but the ML is just perf w/ his MC. The mpreg doesn't play a role till near the end, but the whole bit where MC thinks it might be a sarcoma and then feels bad about it after his lil bun is born, is just extra hilarity. <<less

Well writed and nice to pass the time. But it's not the best I read. I couldnt feel excitement. I read too much great novel theses days so it was too calm for me, even the dogblood was not really bloody. But you ends with a goo feeling.

This was a very relaxing cute and fluffy read. It is slow paced and, honestly despite reading the reviews you do get an impression that revenge is a large theme in the beginning though that’s not true as time goes on. While the MC does not really contribute much to the overdramatic almost background plot happening I find it quite laid back in a good way? Karma plays a major role more than anything and it’s really satisfying to watch people dig their own graves in the end you know?... more>> The MC is book smart but very naive and I guess doesn’t have the highest EQ due to his background understandably. Overall it’s very good, and I do recommend it to anyone who just wants to pass the time with a simple but enjoyable read

I guess the only things that really caught me off guard was

the mpreg at the end. Also the prince Nan Xi was with, like wtf they did not explain that guy’s reason of sending her to the ML at all

This is a good story. I like that the characters are smart. Not s*upidly idiot like other novel. The love is gradually happen. Kind of sweet.
