I like the Han family so much. They are so open minded and also the way author try to normalise that people who don't want to be in love is fine too (⁠ ⁠◜_◝⁠ ⁠) ⁠♡

To be honest, I feel like author foreshadowing so many couples in this novel but I don't know if she gonna write about it or just left it in the dust

For example : Wujing+BaiXuege stepbrother pairs, CuiHao+Xiayan no name actor X gold master pairs, WuYang + Qi something that met MC and ML in hotpot restaurant. I feel the tension in this 3 pairs. But may be I just feel too much ⁄⁠ (⁠⁄⁠ ⁠⁄⁠•⁠⁄⁠-⁠⁄⁠•⁠⁄⁠ ⁠⁄⁠) ⁠⁄

The background characters or people who opposes MC are pretty brainless most of the time and I expected something else when I read the synopsis, like I can't tell who's the real og Shou in this novel until they explained it (thank god). The ML and MC have some small or petty misunderstandings. Sometimes the characters even the main ones are pretty unreasonable. MC had a loving family similarly to ML's, he was pampered all his life but he seems to move on easily? In the end, even til the extras, MC never told ML his secret, he doesn't need to but like ML will accept him no matter who is he and ML even dreamt of it. It's pretty unsatisfying if an author hinted something and the next it was brushed off and ended. I was eager to see MC venting his feelings and past to ML.

Like many of the reviewers said, the couple's dynamic is sooo good. We know that they're not exactly boyfriends (maybe f*ck buddy? housemate?) but they're already sooo fluffy and domestic... Also MC is a total chad and badass, he is so funny I can't help but laugh at his antics!! Also ML is not your typical cold gong u usually found on danmei, he is also funny & flirty towards MC (but only to him!) There is always comical moment even when MC & ML meet the white lotus & green tea b*tch~

MC has my ultimate pet peeves in transmigration danmei: dense as f*ck when he's actually already messed up the original plot by hanging around the protagonist gong. Usually, I'll just drop this kind of trope because it's annoying as hell, but looking at the couple's antics, it's kinda okay

this is also the moment where MC actually realized he loved ML, he cared for ML (even more after knowing that protag!shou almost treated ML as his crush's substitute)

Furthermore, I feel like what happened in the MC's old world after his death could have been covered. And what was the reason for his transmigration? And what happens to Bai Jian, the original MC, at the end of the novel?

I think one of my favorite parts is when the MC realizes that the original!MC's personality would lead to the ML having to constantly bow his head and back down, which explains why the ML's personality in the original novel ends up much more subdued than the ML that he knows. He becomes extremely protective of the ML, who he thinks shouldn't have to go through such dog blood ab*se, and should remain the spoiled but generous peac*ck type that he is right now, because the MC really likes the ML as he is and doesn't want him to suffer. MC wants to protect the ML from emotional hurt, and changes his mind about having the book couple get together like in the novel.

Another one of my favorite parts is where the ML is speaking to his brother about the MC, and the brother is surprised that the MC doesn't know the ML is his biggest tyrant fan who supported him from the beginning. ML basically says the MC knows the ML thinks he's good, but since the ones that love you are supposed to think that, he wants to stay an anonymous fan so MC can realize outsiders also think he is talented. In addition, the ML wants the whole world to see how good the MC is, which is a refreshing change, really, from most President-types.

I know that ML is a tsundere and hasn't realized his feeling yet, moreover their relationship indeed started as FWB and then became closer to sugar daddy so to a degree, ML's treatment was really too good for such relationship. But at the moment, they have never made clear what kind their relationship is. In my understanding, MC is not his yet, but he is so possessive and overbearing. Although he still let MC act, it's still come with a lot of conditions which showed distrustful attitude. I'm not sorry I don't find this behaviour cute. I rather have an outspoken yandere than this kind of tsundere. It felt like a passive-aggressive act. ML is sweet outside, but his supposed "cute" thoughts made my eyes roll.

Maybe this author is just not my type. I've tried her other works and I don't like them. Her idea of "cute" is always clashed with mine. At least there is always one thing that irks me so much like this one
