As everybody also said, this story is just so good. I've mtl-ed this but even that was still pretty understable. As I was saying, this novel is just too good. All the character, most especially the MC and ML was well written and had depth. I really love the fact how the premise of the MC's rebirth happened and how the plot of the story progressed.

Moreover, the part where MC became a wisp of soul and just watched over how the ML lived his life in utter loneliness to when he committed su*cide and then on beheaded and had his body thrown was so painful to read especially from the MC's perspective. You can feel not just his sadness but also his regret, frustration, and just despair for the the ML and generally for the lost time that they could've spent happily together.

Fortunately, the story ended well and even in the extra chapters, I'm so happy that the original ML's life had closure.

Maybe I'll read this again after it becomes fully translated. All in all, it such a worthy read. <<less

This is a story about breaking down the walls that have been built to protect ourselves,

That wall suppose to make us feel save but instade it keeping us away from those we love...

This story make you know that sometimes you need to open up, give yourself a chance to know that you deserve to be loved.

... more>> This makes me feel calm. Their love is very romantic, the author explains clearly why the main character can give birth, and why he is reincarnate again.

I personally like stories like this.

There is a characters that I had to let go of without knowing their ending.

like Xue Wuyi who we know that he is dead but I really want to see a happy ending, then Qi Wei who doesn't have a partner and maybe a mermaid character named Xiao Mu Yu who helps them in the last few chapther... yes there are some characters that I wish in fanwai (extra)

so ML (the sad emperor) rebuilds his life of up to 15 years to the current timeline,

he (curent emperor) wakes up and remembers the story of his previous lives and with both memories unites with MC

i just want to ask if this novel is an Mpreg or the MC/ML can give birth to a child? In the Tag list has its Mpreg but I'm not really sure it is. I have read the reviews and no one was mentioning kids or MC gave birth. I'm making my own list of mpreg so I would have reading list about it. I'm sucker for little cute kids in ancient times.

I love this so much I mtled :) the plot is very similar to Tyrant Pampering Wife Diary but the wangfei looks especially very supportive to his wangye. like he's actively participated in helping wangye and make a name for himself, I think.

both MC & ML and their children are so adorable huhu definitely recommended

EDIT: OK I said this novel is similar to Tyrant Pampering Wife Diary. But NO. This novel is actually much much better than TPWD, especially in terms of relationship balance and the quality of MC &... more>> ML.

MC is very supportive towards ML, and he also knows when to stand up for himself. I feel like MC's second chance is not only to repair their relationship but also to help ML in every way possible, for example...

Despite ML being portrayed as Warlord, he also had his own flaws... and I love that ML always asked for MC's opinion, especially after his enthronement, he asked MC if he wanted to try imperial examination & be an official instead of staying in the back palace as the empress. I've finished this novel long before it was picked to translate. And I must say that this one is pretty good.

MC learned his lesson after his death and did his best to deliberately give his all to ML. Not only to redeem his past negligence to his husband (ML) but also to prove to everyone that the ML is cold outside but warm inside.

The novel has your tipical misunderstanding between the ML and MC. Wich caused the two of them to lead sad and lonely lives in their first lifetime- before the MC traveled back to their wedding.

The MC did not have an understanding of the MC and only saw him as a cruel man. That is until he died and the MC finally showed compasión. Making the MC realize what could have been, what he missed out with not having a proper relationship with ML.

The story is really sweet, we see the... more>> both of them marry and live a good life while they get to know each other in their marriage. They relay on each other and support one another in their carriers.

The children the MC has are just lovely, and the parents act like parents and they have their family moments. The MC linage and how he gets to have children, as well as his mysteries linage will be answered.

I like this story because the position of MC and ML is the same. Usually, even though MC is very great, he still loses to ML, especially if there are many rivals in love. An historical, fantasy Mpreg novel, love love this.. The story of An Changqing and Xiao Zhige 2nd chance of love. They fought side by side on war, and survived the conspiracies in the palace. I love how the MC good at planning.. And thier cute twins ahhh perfect!

Not bad so far, I'm only at chapter 60, but I'm not THAT into the story to continue with MTL. Will read when the translation is out and rate then.

If I did rate now it would only be 3 stars, while the war chapters are really well written, I just found it boring. I don't like war, I don't like hearing about war and I really don't like detailed chapters about it.

Their relationship is cute, by chapter 60 they've worked out all their misunderstandings and finally ya know 😏.

I just... more>> don't know if I have to know the mystery that was hinted at, at least not enough to struggle through MTL. <<less

Good second chance historical. Novl!! MC is more observing and sees how ML cares for him. It's sad about their tragedy but now they are closer and loves each other with this second chance. MC tries to do his best to ML and vice versa

The novel is so good 😊😊... The MC and the ml's relationship is really sweet and after their misunderstanding s were cleared it became even sweeter. The extras made me tear up a bit 😢 parallel world ML was so pitiful he only got to be with the MC for a few months... The mtl is also easy to read overall 4.5 stars.

What I like is that both of their characters changed after interacting with each other. Before MC was timid, coward and indifferent. But now he took the first step and braved himself to make this husband of his to be happy. It's not that I didn't appreciate this novel simplicity and humbleness of creativity.

I simply found this lacking, after reading other danmei novels which have strong character MC.

Other than the same gender couple, MC had all the characteristic of female MC. Thus I won't read this until I run out of stocks. 😃

Cute and fluffy huehuehue~~

The ML pampers our MC a lot and the rebirth has a natural feel.

It's nice because the MC isn't suddenly the best at scheming/revenge and you can see him improving.

A bit wordy and draggy later on, but first half was the best.

The MC and ML's romance was super adorable and cute. And the MC got a lot of delightful character development in coming out of his shell.

The author made a huge effort to tie the loose ends together, and manages it with the later half and ending, but I think some of that wasn't entirely necessary and the novel could have been tighter with better pacing. Nevertheless, enjoyable novel overall.

Gonna confess I can't say much about till chapter 90? I think because I read them so long ago I barely remember but god the author did good with the ending, I was even surprised author could build all this secret-world-build about another race and stuff till the end and give it a good close.

The extras 2 and 3 killed me, truly. Zhige is such a complex character in my mind that I want to keep him in a box to protect him and An from everything.

God, recommended, surely will... more>> reread in some time. <<less
