Xu Qing died after a run-in with the zombies in the post-apocalyptic world. He then transmigrated into a ger with the same name as him in a different world. Ger or whatever, he is still the same man that he’s always been. It’s just that he’s known as the ugliest ger in the village, and he is also an orphan. But Xu Qing, who is overwhelmed with the joy of rebirth, does not care. With his spatial ability awakened in the previous world, he will raise chickens in the village, plant crops, and find someone to accompany him along the way. This novel was good. I give props to this slice-of-life tale. The extras I never read, mainly because I felt the ending was happy enough... This is worth a read, but not too much of a read again.

This novel is not too bad, but not too good either. It’s a very simple kinda slice of life of MC in a ger world, got married to a good guy and having a good family life. The author chapters sometimes a bit jumpy. So there’s alot suddenly scene. Translation is ok, I always appreciate someone took time to translate a novel. Even they start out abit shaky but it’s took alot of effort from that person to take on such lengthy projects. So thank you for your hardwork.

The story... more>> itself is simple, with cliche plots, but I do appreciate it, just a non effort read and don’t think much kinda happy read. Its short, so if you have nothing to read, just want to pass time. Thank you <<less

The story is great, translation is awesome! I dont understand why there's complaint about translation when the one I read is amazing quality translation.

About the story, it's true not much farming it's more about slice of life between our MC n ML (n their smut life) n the people around them. How they build their family wealth, how they overcome draught, the natural disaster at the end of the story, n rebuilding house, about their babies. Story also focus on the annoying ML family with neverending problem. That show what... more>> happen if a mother spoiled and heavily favour 1 child and thinking that child is great. Maybe if he's strictly discipline he could be someone great, but the doting n his already questionable character lead him becoming an arrogant, selfish n lazy person. Yeah I'm talking bout the 3rd son. Most conflicts in that family originate from him and the parent behaviour that shielding n tolerating all his wrongdoing.

Don't trust those negative review. I don't know maybe their brain a bit slow to understand the story so they r saying the plot all over the place or chaotic plot. I think it's them who lack understanding in their confuse brain fog state they write those nonsense review :") Read it urself n judge it.

There's a few point that's true tho for example

xieyu never address the attempted r*pe on him. But in that situation its probably a shame for him. Even in our current society a lot of victim remains silent. Afraid how the society look at them, judge them, blaming them, they r the victim but not everyone is nice so many heartless ppl out there just like the commenter who blaming her keeping silent. IMO she is fine, she don't want to bring shame to her parents, n how would her husband look at by other ppl? Nothing happen to her but u never know how ppl will talk about her. So she probably think silent is better. QiuDa already got retribution too

another one is the appearance of woman at the end. I also don't understand the author motive by introducing her n having her fate ended so cruel like tht. What is it for? To stress they'll never b women there? Then why bring her to begin with??

Beside these I don't think there's any plothole. Or chaotic plot? Well life is chaotic when there's too many ppl involved. Especially if u live in big family there's always something happening. The story just having a glimpse of different ppl life n interconnected each of them to our MC n ml. But I honestly think it's well written. <<less

This was a super light read with interesting main and side characters, I love that there was not much focus on the golden finger, it really added to the vibes of the novel. The translation was also lovely

Very very satisfied with this book. I love all the characters, except ML’s family. Honestly, the 3rd son and his wife and his Dad and Ama are so irritating. Can’t trust these people.

I love both the couples. Lin Fangliang and Xie Yu are so cute, so are the MC And ML. They’re all so sweet. The baby is also very adorable 🤭

Currently waiting for the translation.

the story is very simple 😁 the MC? not grdee or maybe not smart?🙄 or maybe he just want to live with his husband and children so he don't want to do business?🤔

This is one of the best slice of life novel I read, not much drama, not too OP, and not much face slapping just the 2 husband living a simple life. And I love how the author describes how the ger give birth, even its a fantasy but still reliable. The MC Xu Qing has a space, and the ML Li Fangcheng is just an ordinary poor boy. I love how they work hard and enjoy life with thier 2 cute little buns! And also the side characters and side... more>> couples are lovable. Love love this! <<less

From the description I had an idea of what I was getting so the theme of the story wasn't an issue. However, I don't know if it's just me but the chapters leading up to the next chapters are messy. The author either ends the chapters very abruptly with no context to the current situation or starts the next chapter by skipping events of the last chapter and then kind of recapping it later when it becomes irrelevent.

And when I say messy, it's to the point I sometimes can't even... more>> identify the translators 'watermarks' and think I missed a section or a whole chapter when really that's just how the chapter ends.

I think the story itself is ok but I couldn't overlook this one problem and dropped it around chapter 40 for now. <<less

Solid 3.5 stars

it’s easy read, a bit slow and low drama. Don’t expect any dog blood drama in it even when there is trouble it’s resolved pretty quickly with no scandal. There’s no business focused get rich quick type story. Usually farming novels stray away from farming and focus on cooking or “inventing” modern goods to sell to ancient people so they can get super rich or just secretly be a prince. This novel doesn’t really do that it’s doesn’t good too deep into farming but it never goes in... more>> the usual direction. Overall I did like them they didn’t get into too much drama, they were kind to each other and respectful. I more or less skimmed over the sm*t lol I just didn’t really expect the book to have it and was more interested in non-s3xual aspects. The most side characters were quite endearing the more antagonistic ones weren’t even big trouble more annoying than anything else. Everyone who was connected to MC and ML got a happy ending or at least a decent one there wasn’t any real bad end. Not even for people who were terrible. The kids weren’t annoying or overly smart like other novels.

other than him wanting a peaceful life because he came from the apocalypse, it really doesn’t affect his average life. All his instincts from surviving zombies dulled out pretty quickly and he only used his modern knowledge to benefit himself and his friends, not trying to change the world or get rich quick.

I gotta agree with others the random pregnant woman was weird choice by the author. There was so little time to develop anything and it didn’t even matter. The MC never saw her, never interacted with her and she (and her daughter) died almost immediately. Like were more women gonna pop in and eventually integrate with the men & gers or would there have been a horror element like the environment of that world was deadly to women and caused men to become gers in the first place. But like I said that was more or less abandoned.

there’s no birth from the booty or dual s3x gers they got a seam in their belly that magically I guess? Splits and the can get the baby out through it. Like a c section but then I gotta wonder how it works with their organs. They got a special powder to heal that specific wound. But they’ve said themselves they don’t have the organs like a woman so do they not have wombs either?? Or did they just mean the entrance

WARNING

Turn your brain off if you wish to enjoy this novel. There are a lot of displeasing events, infuriating/frustrating characters, & downright dumb cannon fodder.
    • My first gripe is the writing is incredibly choppy. I even checked the raws to see if the translator was skipping scenes.
    • My second gripe is world building. It was giving amateur hour. ABO world makes more sense than gers because it's just an excuse to pass off women as effeminate men.
    • Third, every single character is irritating. They are stubborn, impulsive, selfish, gossipy, short-sighted, delusional, inconsiderate, conniving, immoral, etc.

I almost believed the biased reviewers here, and almost barely finished the novel but I persist.

Because I want to find out if their points are valid, the only thing I can agree was the plot where the woman appeared it didn't made sense and wasted a few sentences just to give those cannon fodders some scenes.

But this is a decent slice of life, the MC didn't pursue wealth like any other transmigrators and just enjoy a peaceful and simple life with his family. But this should be titled as Daily... more>> life as a farmer in ancient times or something cause it's not just about the MC but those people living in the village.

people are waiting for a mega face slapping and was frustrated when they were given of only a melo slapping lol. In fact everyone received retribution the way in reality was, the ML didn't condemned his parents but instead avoided them not totally cutting them off cause still he is still being filial since it's ancient times. He just contacted them less a way to save himself from toxicity and that's the right thing to do. Imagine if MC was the one married to ML, it wouldn't be peaceful, I'm glad they're far away from the idiotic Li couple.

if people think that li laosan and his husband was let off, people didn't reading this who left bad reviews didn't understand the story. Even though ML claimed he forgiven the third brother and his husband in front of their parents, behind them ML still had cause rumors against his third brother making him look like a villain. plus they had cause the eldest wife to miscarriage they got their karma and lost one too... then at the end they only have gers no sons.. even the Li old couple got karma they didn't get to have a grandson with their favourite child and all the grandsons were kids of those children they mistreated and not much close to them.

I just hope I got to see Chen old couple to repent and live a guilty life as long as they live for ruining their child's marriage.

But all in all this is good in a way, just a laid back story between the everyday lives of the villagers. <<less

Okay. I finished reading this.

I have read a lot of farming novels with the same plot like the MC was from apocalypse world and transmigrated to the ancient time but this one is the worst story so far I have ever read.

... more>> The antagonist did not even get their retribution. The author also keep on adding conflicts yet the former problems were not even solved completely. Also, the author tend to do time skip and it hurts my head because I got confuse with the time skip.

Also, the MC suddenly became useless after giving birth and he loses suddenly his qualities when he was surviving in apocalypse.

The MC and ML relationships are not described enough and it feel like they became lovey lovey to each other so fast. It was a quick love.

There's also not a lot of business for the ML and MC. Since the MC is from other word, I have expected a lot from him. I read other novels where they became rich because they have a lot of source of income but this one is quite the opposite. Aside from the grocery store and the wood carving of ML, they do not have other source of income.

Let's just say that I regretted reading this. <<less

the translation was a bit weird at first but became better and better... tho to be fair it was already 8/10 from the start

the novel is funny and relaxing....a great way to get out of all that angst reading.... some parts are weird in that they can just be skipped without effect to the story. I gave 9/10 for that.

Thanks for the hard work translating~

I agree with others when this should be a 3.8 and the fact that its an iseike and space power are just for the popularity of it because it's not used and it's not needed and I felt like the story would have been better and original without it,

but I desperately liked the story for only the place my mind was in depressed from a series of tragedy books that made me cry my eyes out otherwise if I was reading this at a... more>> normal time I probably would rate it lower and wouldn't like it much cause this is purely slice of life really a bit boring and barely any action and very mediocre MC doesnt solve anything doesnt come up with much ideas and their big money making business' relies on ML crafting wood so a big disappointment overall.

i dont think I will reread, but ill recommend if someone wants a breather from stress and drama. <<less

I really love old China transmigration stories so I'm very biased to this kind of story. The story was good but there were a lot of unfinished plot points and some that were completely unnecessary. The MC's apocalypse backstory was one, the women in the last chapter was another and there are more.

But overall, it's a great story to pass the time and I love the way the author described the main couple's love. No misunderstandings, no annoying set-up, just pure sweetness.

I won't rate the novel as I have only read 11 chapters and I will be dropping it.

I enjoy slice of life stories but this story was a little bit too boring.

Author/translator remarks: The translation quality seemed decent. There were times it was difficult to tell who was speaking, and just general paragraphs that were difficult to read. An overuse of exclamation marks as well. I assume these points are down to the original author, but I'm not sure how free the translator was with their translation.

Storytelling: it's quite dry.... more>> I know it's slice of life, and that's exactly what I wanted - something mundane and easygoing, but the way it's written just didn't capture my interest at all.

Red flag: personally I have a red flag with this novel. Its not underage, both the MC and ML are over 20, however, the ML falls in love at first sight, but it is also mentioned that the ML thinks the MC looks the same age as his younger brother (15 yo). For me, the fact that the ML fell in love at first sight with someone that looks 15 doesn't quite sit right. But, that's just a personal preference, I only wanted to raise it for anyone else that may feel uncomfortable due to it.

Overall, I found it a bit too bland in the storytelling to feel compelled to continue reading. <<less

So... the MC has a magical space but barely uses it. If you wanted to read this novel for the magical space theme you might not like it much. The MC uses the spiritual spring in the space tho! And he threw some medical herbs into it to grow by itself (only used it once tho).

The MC doesn't use his modern knowledge to invent many things but he starts the use of other woods in furniture I guess? And he sells pickles. and.. mmm... he teaches his fellow villagers some... more>> recipes and starts the use of fish as a regular staple food in the diet.

The MC has 2 kids.

A lot of family schemes and drama and it gets old.

As for the thing with the woman appearing and then dying well as a fellow (almost) writer lol I think 🤔 she could've been the woman who replaced him in his team during the zombie apocalypse because she was also a space user. And he was able to transmigrate because of his connection to space? So basically maybe the author added it to say his future isn't threatened. (If it was like that and better explained it would make sense in the novel cause he probably got killed because of his team in anyway. Who gets 'separated' from their team's space user even if they have another one?)

I usually don't like reading the extras but the author's choice was good. Heck I didn't even know I wanted to know more about those 3 characters. I especially like the last extra and I feel like they can be given their own novel. (Give me some of that scar faced ML🥰).

Overall it was an easy read but left me craving for more invention, farming, collecting, infrastructure building. <<less

I liked this story, I felt the translator did well considering English is not their first language.

That being said, author! Pimples don't make someone ugly to the point the whole village talks about it! The female character was not needed in the story. I also kept getting confused in the beginning trying to keep track of the many characters.

Other than that, I very much enjoyed the food aspects of the story.

4.2 relaxing story.. But I don't really find it satisfying with another characters on it, our main cp is ok, they're many side that had difficult life with up and down emotion, mc's background not do much except the spatial space he had, and many rushing story here make it more unsatisfied with it
