1st ARC : Chap 1 : Rebirth Company

An intern was bored out of his mind when a soul walked in. The soul was equivalent to 24k gold. For those not in the know, 24k gold is 100% pure gold. The intern was happy about his first-ever sale only to find out that the soul had accumulated the 24k gold aura by transmigrating to numerous worlds as a side character. His character was so insignificant that he couldn't even see the main couple up front and of course the one who'll die first. So, the soul had a wish. He wanted to be the final boss (the main villain).

2nd ARC : Chap 2 to 11 : Prison & Trial

He was accidentally sent to a xianxia world with a halo which turned out to be the white lotus halo which he didn't know was a white lotus halo. The halo will automatically be activated 3 times to assist the host. The soul was now in Yin Biyue's body. Yin Biyue (MC) was in prison, accused to set up a killing array that almost kill the protagonist, Luo MingChuan (ML), and 32 other fellow cultivators. Visited by ML wanting to know the reason for the killing array, MC was flustered which activated the halo. With the assistant from the halo, ML now thought he once had forced himself upon MC and the killing array wasn't a killing array but, a transportation array to get the both of them back to ML's hometown. Feeling guilty, on the day of the trial, ML admitted everything to the horror of his master. MC was shocked because he did not remember what the halo did. Both of them were given a light sentence to the dismay of other fellow cultivators from their sect. But, after they analyzed the situation and realized the array won't harm them and add-on with the love rumor of MC and ML, the sect members decided to give their full support.

3rd ARC : Chap 12 to 50 : Zhong Ming Mountain’s Flower Picking Festival

MC, ML, and MC's junior brother, Duan ChongXuan, traveled together to Zhong Ming Mountain. A competition was going to be held there and the winner could climb the mountain to pick a lotus flower which, after eating, could be considered as being reborn. In this arc, ML solidified his feeling toward MC. But, as MC hadn't reached adulthood yet, he decided to wait.

4th ARC : Chap 51 to 65 : Xingshan Temple

After eating the lotus flower, MC's hair was still white-grey. Only the readers knew that it was an effect of the white lotus halo which was harmless. MC thought that it was sort of chuunibyou and wasn't worried about it but, ML wanted to travel the world for the antidotes. Of course, MC agreed. In this arc, both MC and ML found out that ML could be the reincarnation of a powerful demon cultivator.

5th ARC : Chap 66 to 82 : Travell with Saint Sword

ML unknowingly learned demonic cultivation and reacher the 8th stage. To proceed to the 9th stage, he either has to consume human energy or do duo cultivation. MC suggested doing it with him, without understanding the full context of duo cultivation which involved s*x. ML rejected him and said that he could destroy his demonic cultivation which will affect his power and start over. After being saved by his Master, the Sword Saint, from the monks who wanted to capture ML for his demonic power, MC decided to travel with his Master. He asked ML not to do anything s*upid and to wait for him. The demonic cultivators felt that their master, Mo ChangYuan, was about to be awakened and band together for war. They knew that ML was the reincarnation of their master and he have to surrender to his demonic's will to be fully awakened. While trying to prevent this, ML was badly injured and was saved.

6th ARC : Chap 83 to 119 : Virtuous vs Demonic

MC decided to take ML to a secluded place because after ML woke up from his coma, there was a chance that he could be the Demonic Master. The intern from the Rebirth Company managed to track MC and told him about the mishap. He would take away the white lotus halo and MC could ask for compensation. MC asked the intern about the chance of ML being the Demonic Master and was told that the only way for that to happen was by MC stabbing ML with his sword and the sword could also kill the Demonic Master. The intern unknowingly helped to unravel MC's heart. MC finally knew that he love ML. The intern left a talisman in case MC wanted to contact him.

Chap 85 was the chap MC and ML did the duo cultivation. The thing was, ML used his power to sort of hypnotize MC while MC thought the halo somehow activated and he forced ML. Because he had solidified his heart, MC went all out and confessed his feeling and promise to give ML a grand wedding or some sort. ML was amused but, at the same time liked this new and cute MC.

just a white lotus (like a good one) the whole time, I think I was just expecting him to be a little more villainous I guess.

never became a villain like everyone in the novel kept saying he would. He was just shown as one in flashbacks/dreams. Needs abit more drama I guess.

I did like the side couples though
