Yin BiYue has made the worst purchase ever. After transmigrating countless times into the bodies of canon fodder villains, he buys a ‘Fiend Halo’ from the Rebirth Company, supposedly the best aid for an up and coming final BOSS!

He’s ecstatic to finally get a villainous role where he won’t die after just a few lines, if any at all, and is raring to become the best opponent a protagonist will have… However, why was everyone looking at him with pitying eyes? Why was the protagonist rushing over to help him get out of his crimes? Most importantly, why was his ‘Fiend Halo’ just making things worse?!

Meanwhile, the intern salesperson at the Rebirth Company discovers that he might have accidentally sold a prototype White Lotus Halo to a certain villain…

I'm very disappointed in this novel.. I like the description I really think its a nice novel to read.. I gave 2 because I like the first part of it.

like when the villain activate the costumer self service that should have help him during the interrogation of the protagonist but in fact it create a big misunderstanding.

like the comment above, its true. Theres not much lovey dovey scene between the leads but for once I read a novel with fighting scenes that made me excited so I kinda like it. I dont care if the fightings look like a scene from a shonen manga. For me if its cool then its cool! ?

I finish this story using Google translate and get the gist of the story.

Its good???

love it...???

The only downside is... not much sexy time....???And my brain is somehow fried and had a circuit break down ?????using Google translate... later when it's completely translated gonna read it again. the story is good like I said but its takes patience and tolerance reading it in MTL. If you dont have the patience and the will to sacrifice your brain cell for this story I suggest DON'T read this raw!!! You will only be... more>> disappointed.

Wait for it to be translated and lets all encourage the translator to translate this faster? Haha, I won't put pressure to the translator. Take your time. Its just that this story is much more to be appreciated if translated completely. The reason why some People give this story bad review is because Automatic computer translation is very bad. Headache inducing.

But everything except that is quite good??? so funny everytime the halo activated...???

the side story and 2nd-4th lover pairing is quite good too... the last one pair is quite unexpected.??? <<less

MC sucks at being a villain... even without the halo's whitening effect, he still wouldn't suceed...

The plot is typical, ok but nothing too special.

Could've been a lot more interesting if the story stick to the premise and MC is good at being a villain (instead of... well... generic white lotus... seriously the MC doesnt need the halo to be a white lotus)

Overall... 3.5 star

I'm on chapter 15 and I have decided to drop this series. Reading other reviewers seems that glaring problems have already started to appear very early on. Maybe it's because of the update frequency or the actual story itself.

By chapter 15、 I was lost. Who is the ML? I don't really remember his name or what he did. The MC? Except that he had the white lotus halo、his initial personality had somehow disappeared to this completely stoic、 calm protag who seems cool with everything and not even question "why"

This is hilarious, and the concept great, and worth reading just for that. It also gives something of an explanation of what happens to the original soul after transmigration!

Incredible story with incredible translation (from the perspective a non-native English speaker). I could understand it smoothly.

The story has a hint of comedy while we see the protagonist finally get a sense of existence, beyond his role of cannon fodder villain or his expect Final Boss Villains role.

I can see that the romance will be slow burn and I was excited to see it progressing, especially with the MLs identity's revelation in the past chapters and the tension between the protagonists' group. But gosh, the new translator's site is not... more>> working 😭 is it down? Cultivation novels are a pain in the ass to MTL 🥴

What will happen to them? I need to know!! <<less

Honestly I was surprised at how good it is, I don’t know how I never heard of it before this point. The plot is very well established to the point that I read it, very much a cultivation novel. There was a second in the beginning where I wasn’t sure who the ML was though, simply bc the I found the obvious pick for ML to be too bland of a possibility, obviously I stand corrected, and that’s where the slight negatives come in, I suppose

until I read other reviews, I didn’t realize how I passively would skip forward bc the amount of plot building, while commendable, was a bit much. At some point I remember thinking that it felt like I came to this novel just to read another wuxia novel, tbh I do not care about world building, which is why I would skip forward quite a bit.

One thing I will definitely complain about is how irrelevant the actual plot of him being a villain with a halo effect is. I felt like a few chapters in and he was already viewed in a positive light, and he barely brings up being a villain for quite some time. His every action was hero coded, not villain. Even the other characters viewed him as such even without the halo. Bc of that, my favorite part of the concept, him being villainous with the halo, was basically nonexistent. Also, the romance is barely there, but I find that common in these tropes so that wasn’t too surprising.

I won't rate it as I've only made it to chapter 16 and not sure I will even pick it back up.

Unpopular opinion-I wasn't a fan of SVSSS, the relationship was too toxic, so when I saw many people in the reviews compare this and it and say this one was boring, I was actually excited. I liked the first half of SVSSS but strongly disliked the second half, so I was hoping this novel was what I was looking for. I think it's the authors writing, they wrote a lot with out much happening. You can skip half the page and not mis anything important. I don't know I've gone through so many novels that maybe my standards are too high and I'm being nitpicky, but I don't think this novel is my cup of tea. <<less

This novel has an interesting premise but the text is too flowery for me to listen (text-to-speech) properly while playing a game DX as such, I decided to give up while I was ahead and come back when I had the time to read it more thoroughly. As for the content I’ve read so far... my opinion is *thinkingface* well, it’s a bit ambivalent? I chose it because I remember reading an SVSSS fic with the exact premise and wanted to see the original lolol this one has the MC... more>> being a repeat Transmigrator that wants to be a villain with depth... but fails because of the white lotus halo (which doesn’t feature as much as I though it would) and because he’s too non-villainous despite his great acting skills. There’s a bit of a mystery going on cause the MC’s memories aren’t complete. As for the ML, he becomes hooked in almost immediately because of misunderstandings. Definitely not your average ML. Kind of like a white lotus Binghe, but older! Anyways!!! I’ll come back to read it again later and leave a proper review then. <<less

At first the story was good. I liked how despite MC’s tries to seem a villain everyone misunderstood him, thinking he was a pure white flower. Till now it was funny with some action. Not the best I’ve read so far, but so-so overall.

MTL up to Chapter 77, readable.

Skip right to the end, the source of calamity is the CP misunderstanding. The point is, good communication is a must between couple/lovers/partners.

Not very adventurous in terms of emotional rollercoaster reading material. Good to pass the time.

The concept is unique and its definitely worth a read. I'm certainly not picky with the Shounen Ai genre but the idea is an excellent enough on its own.

This is a comedic story and the plot is crystal clear, as evidence, it seems that relationships with the protagonist are set early on in the story (except for the main pair).

There is a downside and that is the fact the protagonist doesn't have a distinct enough character.

Godspeed to the translating team so I can read more of this interesting novel.

This is funny, interesting and different, its like anything he does is looked at like the actions of an unwilling martyr lol! And he is like: WTF Im the bad guy, so what is this?!.

On another note, the ML is not the possessive yandere type thats so popular, he is more of a nice sunny guy so its feels refreshing

Senethari puts it best: the halo and the MC's self-designated role aren't exactly matching up well, leading to comedy gold. There are also hints of mystery being introduced, along the lines of the original soul's past. Really can't wait for more.
