Xu Sili died at a young age. He woke up again only to find that… not only was he alive but he had become the new emperor of an alien empire. The empire was in a miserable state, facing a crisis of being destroyed by alien beasts at any time.

At that time, he fell down on the emperor’s exclusive gold throne. In front of him stood a handsome man in a white military uniform. The man wore knee-high black boots and stepped on his chest. There was a cruel and bloodthirsty smile on his face as he placed the laser gun to Xu Sili’s forehead. He declared, “Die, new emperor.”

Wait, wait! Xu Sili was confused when he saw the man’s face clearly. Why did this man look so similar to the virtual character he raised? Huh? This was the good-looking uniform that Xu Sili put in long hours to gain!

Si Sheng had a secret. He could hear the voice of God.

During the time when everyone around him was going crazy over the princess, he knew that everything about the princess was actually a gift from God, the one who truly saved him from the s*ave owner—

It was the great God!

He was mysterious and powerful. He had the most moving voice in the world. He stirred Si Sheng’s mind every night, keeping him spellbound and unable to sleep. Si Sheng wanted to see ‘Him’ so badly that he was going crazy.

Finally, there was a day when God asked him, “What would you do if I appear before you?”

Si Sheng knelt on one knee and humbly offered his loyalty. However, he realized at this time that he had a deeper… wilder ambition in his heart for God.

This is probably a story of the main character transmigrating to an alien world and rebuilding a home with his virtual character.

Absolutely love this novel! As far as storytelling goes in my opinion it is as good as the Korean novel The tr*sh of the count's family.

I love the romance and world building of this story. Wish I could move there myself!

so far the story is okay. As expected, its a kingdom building novel.

there are occasional steamy moments but the s*um male atmosphere in the current part I'm reading isn't doing it for me.

our male lead si sheng has paranoia issues and our main character xu sili is too dense to realise what's wrong

Okay im currently reading this novel and so far so good, but there are a few things I want to point out:

There are no real villains in this book, and the story focuses more on the development of the kingdom. There's no problem with this but it's really sad that the author missed countless opportunities to create a well written antagonist and arc.

Spoiler

For example, forget the bevat empire, the game producers would've been good antagonists! But to my surprise, they turned out to be stpid and knew nothing about the fact that their game is actually a real world. This is where the problem starts, how did this game become real without the game developers knowing?

You'd probably say, "because they thought it's just intelligent AI", but thats not a good reason! That just means that the main character and everyone is really just a bunch of data and well programmed character. The concept and logic of AI here is clearly just half-assedly made up by the author to get around. This completely defeats the idea that the game is actually a real world.

This is a plot hole and it would've been better if the game dev or the founder of the 'game' actually knew that it's a real world. They could've been an antagonist or a 'God'.

Hopefully, in the end there's a plot twist where the game devs are somehow amnesiac or something.... (Prayers, prayers)

Anyways, other than that, the story is pretty good and also the MC and ML. The story is well developed as the MC continues to build the empire and make it stronger. The chemistry between the MC and ML is also peak. Their scenes are something u really look forward to and the way continue to develop their feelings for each other again and again as if their love for each other has no limits *sobs*. However their interactions are quite not so much compared to the plot. This story is more focused on the development of the empire but their scenes def won't leave you starving.

In terms of character writing, it's actually near perfect. The characters are indeed realistic and even the reaction of MC's family. There are also multiple povs of players and such which is refreshing and interesting to see.

In terms of development writing, some parts are just a little unrealistic, like the way the MC earns money. But that's completely fine ig, the way it's written overshadows everything. The way the story develops really gets you hooked and gets you to keep reading. +The flow of the story is great

In terms of world building, it's gigantic and well-written when it comes to the roland empire but it's a little off balanced and there's not much coverage abt the other empires as of the chapter I'm currently on. There are currently 200 and they don't have much coverage. In my opinion, this would be a great opportunity for MC to start showing their standing and gain connections with the powerful empires. Hopefully this happens in the future chapters.

Overall, a perfect novel to read when passing the time, plus a novel that can def deprive you of sleep. The story is very unique and gives you a perspective of an NPC, def would recommend reading 4.0/5.0 <<less

It wasn't bad but not good enough, at least for me, I'm gonna stop here.

Spoiler

The 'misunderstandings' troupe is not for someone like me, it's too annoying like I can understand why the ML was hesitant but it's very annoying. Bruh, they've already gotten together, MC even said he was willing to spend his whole life together yet ML couldn't bring himself to fully be confident or trust in their relationship to ask. I get it, ML had his reasons and it was explained why so but meh.

There's also this part where MC enters into the game (inside a game 🌝) and ML follows him in. HOWEVER, the MC doesn't recognise him despite being described as a 'intelligent'. How did he not recognise ML after such obvious hints? The fact that his username was 'Roland's guradian' or the fact that he had the same hair and eyes as ml. Even the fact that anyone would be willing to work part time for the little amount of money he gave as salary. Let's not forget that ML didn't try to hide the fact that it was him (until he realised that MC didn't recognise him and took the chance to confess his feelings).

And the deduction that bright and intelligent MC comes up with is what? He must be a spy sent to him to seduce him by looking like the marshal! I don't know, this just bothered me so much like MC was inconsistent at times. Not to mention that this novel has 400 something chapters so the plot would be kinda slow and I guess I don't have the patience.

Won't rate cause obviously this novel is interesting and I could've kept reading if I'd ignored some things here and there. Anyways bye. <<less

I seriously love this novel.

Its a lil bit slow burn... more>>
Spoiler

but MC and ML are very sweet. They slowly reveal their secrets and understand each other.

Of course this novel not only focuses their relationship but also their world which is "game" for players. MC is the emperor in this world and ML is his Marshall. MC tries to control players because players are like double edged sword which can make Roland Empire shine or sink. There are a lot of characters with appearance and personalities. Also Sometimes the author writes from another point of view like players. We can see what they are doing as well. Their reactions are literally hilarious. Edit~

It was pretty satisfying ending for me.
Spoiler

We pretty much saw every timeline they showed us. Actually when I thoght the novel ended and checked to make sure I was surprised and happy to see that the author was writing for the other timeline.

The world building in this novel is just enormous. There are a lot of characters more than I can imagine. After getting know them they dissappear a little because it's hard to talk about them all the time when a new character is coming so I can't say that I hate this much. Also the novel's main focus is world building we mostly see the improvement of the kingdom. Romance is there but it's not the main focus and I actually liked it because the planet is expanding and we get to know a lot of things. When I think of this novel I know what kind of Planet they are in, their civilization, their past and their future so It feels refreshing. I read from mtl. It is actually not that bad just some names get messed up every time. It has 687 chapters right now and the nu says its ongoing but looks a little completed for me. I'm not sure. <<less

I feel that the romance is super cute, the missions to make the city better are very entertaining, the secondary couples here and there give me life, the virtual world within the virtual world and the songs as powers are the best of the best !!

I love this type of setting and subplots, so if you like something above, give it a try! ≪3 super easy to read from MTL. <<less

*Flips story over* wheres the rest of it?! I need more! 🥺 I really like this story. Its like eating fluffy sweet bread. Very entertaining but kinda slow. I really love these slow kingdom building types of stories

MC is only slightly dense to ml’s love but that can be forgiven most of the time because ML is super intimidating.

MC also has an interesting background. Rich boy singer. Who gets to use music magic. Its like watching a support main trying to dps. Bruh just accept your a support character.

I loved this one. The worldbuilding is great and it's so interesting to see the development of a game through an NPC pov.

The MC and ML's relationship develops pretty fast but it makes sense. The MC only really has the ML to talk too, who understands the MC's situation.

I am rereading this for I don't know how many times. Everything I wanted in an advanture-fantasy-scifi novel is here. Really. It doesn't have a serious and gloomy setting but is also wasn't boring. If you are on a vacation and you want to find a series to read this I would recommend.

The flow is good and even in the middle of an arc there would be like a preview of the next arc. You can't stop reading it that's why I suggested to read it on vacation or holiday... more>> because if you happens to have work or school day, that would be a problem XD

My only complain is that THE INTERSTELLAR JOURNEY IS TOO SHORT, although there is a good amount of chapters for the Interstellar Arc it still fell a bit short compare to the momentum. But I understand this because the main plot as mentioned is infrastructure (prosperity of Roland), still I was hoping for more QAQ. And also the satisfactory on the high star elementalist learning about the new Roland Empire is too little, I got a bit hungry, pls author-nim give us some of those characters point of view. If this two things I complained about was implemented then this would become a perfect story for me (my preference), nonetheless, this is already a memorable story in my heart.

Another thing, I don't know if it's because the large part of the story I read was MTL'ed but I never really get how the Interstellar beast came about as the world consciousness explained.

Despite those things I'm giving this a novel a full mark! ❣️

+++I JUST WANT TO SAY the current lifestyle of Leopold and Elvis, I really want it!! Imagine after all those things, you get to retire peacefully as you watch the Empire prosper without you having to do anything but still have a status and be taken care of by the players due to the favorability. This is the life that me and Cale Henituse wants (I feel the need to mention the very person who wanted a slacker life but continuously make trouble for yourself, you'll be remembered) <<less

I really like the territory building trope but this one has a lot of personal enjoyment for me. The progress gets perhaps a bit too fast/OP sometimes so if you like realistic territory building kind of story, this is not for you as it does require some suspension of disbelief. The translation is very good.

There is a large cast of characters and we often even get to see their POVs so the world feels quite alive but at the same time it feels like it jumps places abruptly. I like... more>> a lot of the side characters, sadly some of them ended up abandoned in the many plots there are. As much as I enjoy this, it would definitely be better with some editing connecting the plots and perhaps even cutting some (or moving them to extras). Unfortunately, that's just how webnovels are in comparison to published novels.

The romance is not really a main focus (you could even consider it slow and a lot of it could be seriously better with some communication) but after they get together the sugar is sweet and you get to eat it pretty often. Right now I am rating it 5* but I might revise the rating once I have read everything and seen how the different parts wrap up. Regardless, I really enjoy reading it now. <<less

By so far I really like this novel!

I'm orienting on the popular review, and can say that:

1. There is leveling up plot (LitRPG genre, if you heard about it). It is a bit too diverse in my opinion, but interesting;

... more>> 2. Romantic "subplot" is not sub at all, MC and ML give dog food almost in every chapter for me to it, so I really happy-appy-appy;

3. ML is indeed yandere, but he loves MC very much and respects MC's opinion. Though he is cold by nature to other people, he really tries to please MC's relatives and protect those, who MC finds important. And one important point, he doesn't force MC to xx if MC doesn't want to! I even think that it is more often MC who actively seduce ML for the bed things. Oh, and ML is something about the most powerful creature in that world, but he doesn't help MC unless he can't solve the problem by himself. ML mainly is responsible for killing few ultra creatures, that can't be overpowered for the time being and sometimes rescuing MC and his people, but he doesn't interrupt MC's progress and plans at all. MC can show his strength and doesn't get unnecessary help from ML.

As I have already said, I really like this novel. It gives "The Legendary Moon Sculptor" vibes, but BL and with almost omnipotent ML. The only points I didn't like are diversity of MC's activity, as I said earlier, and number of MC's relatives (too much). You can try read em, something around 20 chapters? And see for yourself if you will like it too. <<less
