The story starts off well with the protag and her lovable pet. It eventually stalls and gets bogged down in a circular plot that progresses an inch each chapter. The essence and charm of the story is lost and becomes a boring slog.

I'm enjoying the book so far, even reread it several times while waiting for the next eng translation volume release. The world building is pretty interesting and I hope to find out more about it. Character development is also good not just with the main character, but also with the side characters. The story progression might be slow to some, but it's alright for me.

This should've been titled "Dumpster Diving Slime Tamer", since that encapsulates what the story is about, without sounding like a generic Light Novel title. In the end, I can't say that I enjoyed it more or less than the anime, since Ivy's Japanese aversion to garnering attention, greatly hampers the story's potential. It honestly has been a while since I've read a story with so little content, due to the MC not having a goal. Meaning not much happens after 6 volumes, leaving little reason to continue, besides maybe some interesting future revelations by the time she reaches the capital. <<less

The unlucky, but not so, protagonist run from birthplace fo survive. She rummane in tr*sh dumps to get her needs, she know how hunter and picking up in nature.

Opinion:

Very light and get me curious about how far she will be? In land and in growth. I really like how the relationships are build. Some are very nice to see. They see her a kid in need to pretection but her adult mind influenced by memories and trauma let her be very mature but a natural childshid like how happy like eating sweets while discussing serious matter. Or how scary she get in a thunder night or how se get shy being called cute.

I fell a little tendencies of being a overpower MC, but they say she is weak.

She is very likeable and her thougths is easy to follow - the people around her seens silly and sometimes dumby

This story is so unbelievably fun. It also makes me sad sometimes. It feels like I've developed an attachment to Sora and Ivy. I keep hoping that nothing bad will happen to them.
