I was thrown into a group of classmates I had no contact with, and even though we were all summoned to another world, I was left behind due to a scheme by one student. However

, I was told that I could have one wish granted that was no longer than ten characters, so I told him the wish that would give me the most advantage.

I don’t have any intention of getting involved with my classmates. However, I decided to go with “this girl.”

This novel just screams the work of a teenage boy who has put little thought into the plot or developments. I mean, think of your average overpowered protagonist story, and make it worse because the writing is choppy.

There’s tons of cliches, and every character is blown out of proportion. The main character may be the worst of them all due to his personality — I guess he was a neet in the real world, but his personality is incredibly off-putting because of how assuming he is of everything. People will... more>> do the smallest actions that don’t imply anything negative, but he’ll be like “DAMN IT.” But, of course, he was “right” because the plot says so. Incredibly low-effort.

There’s also that edginess that comes with overpowered main characters. He’s a do-it-all, and he whips out powers that are so incredibly convenient.

I’m also a bit confused on the summary since it says “this girl” as his choice, but he clearly chose “my avatar” in his game. ??? I kept reading because I thought there was another wish that would make “this girl” appear out of nowhere, but she’s no where to be found. Instead of being somewhat original, it’s just your lesser than average “I’m my game character.”

There’s some enjoyability, but the writing is incredibly choppy — so bad that you wouldn’t know when a scene started or stopped — and the characters are worse. If you love those cliche, edgy stories with overpowered protagonists, then have at it, but be prepared to be disappointed. <<less
