The setting is a generic fantasy world. You know, the classic where the author spends 500 chapters with the protagonist stuck at age 10 before they abandon the work or it fades into obscurity. It is slightly better than most Korean novels in that the characters receive some level of character development, and the main characters are generally present, but I suspect that it will happen instead in a cyclical way where the main characters aside from the protagonist and his maid get changed every few dozen chapters.

One interesting thing... more>> about this work is that the protagonist possesses the ability to consciously manipulate the work, albeit a finite number of times. The protagonist also possesses something called the "Plot Store, " however it is awfully incorporated into the story because the items in it change conveniently for an issue just when the protagonist needs it. It's a cop out, and it takes away a lot of potential satisfaction and fulfillment from the plot.

The other issue is that the setting and characters are, ironically, inconsistent. This is likely a symptom of the web novel structure where there isn't enough time to ensure that characters are consistent, but in this case it felt like the characters devolved into tropes. For instance, the "Demon King" went from having some intrigue to her motives and relationship to the protagonist, to essentially becoming a loli protagonist-con that is mostly useless aside from being "cute." <<less
