these types of mafia~ yakuza-esque type of stories are really my guilty pleasure T^T of course I'm not always expecting some fluff or somethig of the like, but I usually avoid the ones with the r*pe and noncon tags, but since I read a lot of people saying there was only one scene of r*pe, I thought i'll just bare with it. What made it for me was the plot, I liked the pace and the action. It had some good twists and overall I just liked that it didn't took the first comission as the whole plot for their story to develop, like some stories usually do. Another thing I totally loved was the MC, the way Ja-kyung is written makes him somewhat relatable even though his circumstances aren't that relatable to most of us, if any. He's a likeable character, I just wish him peace and lots of watermelons lol, and even the ML has some weird unexpected charms, but yeah.... As for the smuts scenes, there were some that were enjoyable and others that just weren't for me.

I was reading slowly for the two first chapters because I was so busy but after that I cannot put it.

I love each character, the detail of all of them, the cruelty and the violence is just perfectly fit. The comedy, angst, bickering, action, they are all awesome.

At first I'm not expecting this novel to be so intoxicated. But I can't stop putting it and keep reading till last chapters!

The plot is quite unexpected, with lots of sadistic event, which might hinders you to liking this novel. And the smuts are very detailed, even though at some parts are too much.

But this story has the most enigmatic ML! Lots of adjectives can attribute to his character: lunatic, psychopath, cunning, mischievous, pe*vert bastard, crazy possessive, but also the sincerest person when it comes to his love for that... more>> only one person!

I love the dynamic between the couple, and the people around them. Even the extra chapters are also 'extra' with a strong storyline.

The Author portrays the characters in amazing way! For example, ML madness and his action for MC, MC's childhood and especially the characteristics tension between MC and ML.

Plot:

Although, I said this is so good but I can't deny that this is not for everyone. There are a lot of gore scenes and killing, torturing are literally in every chapters. But also there is full of SMUT🌚

Another things that I love about the plot is, even though the story is pretty heavy with family issues and a lot of tensions, the jokes and the comedy author put make me feel a lot more comfortable than I thought! Pretty Funny really🤣

Like while ML is threatening but the situation becomes funny because of something. So, don't worry bout the story being too heavy. The moment you think "Oh! No!", you will find yourself laughing after a few seconds 😉

Personal Fav:

Well, I love red flag who are obsessed and possessive so this is my fav. There is some scenes that make ML nearly Death Flag but considering his personality, that's not out of plot.

And sometimes it gets toxic but you won't be sorry because this story is " If ML is too red flag, the story become Toxic but If MC is strong in that Toxic Story, that makes them POWER COUPLE" type.

I won't give any spoiler or about story. So you guys might less interest in this. But trust me. Jut read it till ch 50. You will definitely love it if you like Red flag ML, Strong MC, A Frim plot with delicious SMUT (there are some r*pe scenes so just be aware of that), Comedy and things that are related to gu ns, fights or Gangsta.

The first half was really good, but it felt like bickering or moments between the main characters just kept repeating, while the storyline didn't progress. There isn't really any character development or relationship development.

I don't think you can call MC a total pro assassin when he keeps losing or struggling in fights.

I'm disappointed, I was hoping for it to finally get into the relationship dynamic, but it just doesn't get any mention. I loved it! The storyline is great. I love the fact that Jakyung doesn't become too submissive. Il Hyun also remained a little psychopath.😅 The story is overall great and makes you read more. I completed it in two days. 😁

I love this! It had plot! I was tired of the fluffs and stories that were centered around their romance. And the smexy scenes! I feel like they are more realistic than what I’ve read in a manhua or a novel that made it seems like these things are actually pleasant.

Ahhh I love this. It's got one of my fav tropes of all time: psycho love interest who is still psycho by the end, ie he hasn't been 'fixed', but has a deep and fatal soft spot for MC.

Seriously some of the moments the main couple have will make you tear up. Their relationship becomes so close and affectionate, their love is so tangible by the end. Sure there's a rocky start... or a rocky first 2/3rds..... but the end relationship is made all the more satisfying by the slow... more>> burn.

I really liked MC's character as well. He was never scared to take the initiative and do what he wanted. He's a little bit of an hard ass which is great as you barely see MCs with strong mindsets sometimes. And when he fiiiinally starts opening up to ML you just feel like hallelujah!!!

Tbh the first half did stretch a bit for me. It was just a little bit too samey. But the end is sooo worth the wait <<less

This is a good read with a pretty good translation.

The characters are good and the story is thrilling and doesn't drag.

Honestly it was very good from start to finish.

I was dying for a truly MC, not one who say he's strong but do nothing during the entire novel, and here I found it.

Ja-kyung is truly a badasswho seduced me as well as the ML.

Just one little criticize :

This was an excellent, exciting and fast paced read! The MC and ML are both men who grew up not knowing love and not believing it could exist. They're both very violent, terrifying and broken people (Il Hyun definitely takes the cake for being the scariest though - I do love a yandere though). But they're a perfect fit for each other. The relationship feels natural as they get closer and more relaxed with one another, as they finally put their trust in the other and believe in love. A full action packed thriller with family politics, gangs and assassins, it delivers what it set out to do in the first place- leave you at the edge of the seat.

It was a fun and hooking reading. My favorite part was how unhinged the ML was and how the MC wasn't naivety fooled.

The plot was progressed quickly so you don't have time to get bored. It's good if you want action, smut and an overbearing ML.

The story is good. And the translation is also good. The story is kind of funny. I like the dinamic between the couple. I also like how their relationship not established abruptly but not too slow either. It's feel natural. And I like how in the end the uke starting to understand possessive and obsessive behavior of the seme and the seme starting to more humble and understanding when uke really mad or want some "freedom".

It's a good one. The ML is definitely crazy lol. And as some reviews said, I liked how the MC's attitude didn't had a sudden changeover or became timid unreasonably. The Ml's last act (which I thought was extreme too) proved it.
