Second time reading this and remembering why it's in my favourites list. Just so good and always makes me cry with the happy ending. Just obsessed.

I just finished binge reading this in two days and all I can say is that I LOVED IT SO MUCH!

I usually avoid abo settings because most fall into stereotypes I really can't stand but I decided to trust the author since I love their other book and read it. I was pleasantly surprised! It's like Secondary genders don't matter in this world, no one is being discriminated against. Just like someone is born male or female, you can either be an alpha beta or omega and that doesn't affect... more>> physical abilities or the special abilities or how people treat each other. In my opinion, this is a perfect way to write abo, it really suited my tastes so much. I really loved the world-building the most: the way the abilities were treated was very realistic and the use of the sci-fi elements was very fun!

Every reveal that happened, in the end, was so satisfying with the foreshadowing the author dropped along the way, it was so fun reading this book.

The relationship was everything I expected from this author! None of that alpha losing their control around an omega, everything was done with respect and consent!

One thing I wanted at first was for the side plot (is it really a side plot? the thing that happens in the end?) to be more important and was starting to think the ending was a bit rushed until I considered it from the pov of our main characters and it made sense. Why should a bunch of university students be that involved in what happened? kudos to the author for making adults act like adults for once and handle everything and actually protect the young characters! I couldn't help but compare to other stories I read with people who have special powers (bhna lol) and it made me realize how ridiculous it is to expect some teens/young adults who haven't graduated yet to be involved in seriously dangerous situations.

Not sure if this counts as a spoilers but I will put the rest of my review here anyway:

The game (?the sports?) they play is very fun and makes so much sense in the society they live in. They can fight using their abilities without worrying about real life injuries and it must be very fun for these kids with abilities.

The dynamic between the main couple is the cutest! An alpha who has a strong mental ability but is weak physically and his omega who protects him and isn't affected by his ability...a match made in heaven! They're really compatible and their dynamic was so interesting since the first meeting. I will forever remember who ML acted during MC's heat in the beginning and how despite being muddle headed later on (in an nsfw chapter the translator managed to get their hands on) he still asked for consent before doing anything to MC. I also love how MC isn't passive in the relationship and not the usual innocent bottom.

One thing that I maybe wish we got more details on is the whole thing with arbiter. I know it makes sense for our characters to not be in the know because of their identities as just students but can the author write a spin off or something and explain it even further please it's such an interesting premise ;_; maybe follow MC's brother? I'm begging?

A very clean ABO setting with refreshing AO relationship dynamics.

There's no coercion, no discrimination, omegas can be more powerful than alphas and heats don't make people lose their rationality or are used as excuse to use r**e trope.

The MC and ML have hard to come by character constructions.

This was a very fast reading, is not perfect, the ending is good and doesn't feel rushed, but overall is not my jam, I don't like e-sports and a virtual competition feels pretty much the same to me, I also felt a lack... more>> of description. <<less

A very fluffy story to read. I love that it diverts from normal ABO story where the Alpha is much more powerful than the Omega. Mumu here is very soft but badass at the same time. A must story to read!

ahhh *cries* so happy that they finally can be happy after all that >.<

Originally thought it wouldn't be that great cuz personally didn't like sci-fi, and I found the MC way too OP while the ML wasn't as great... BUT NEVERMIND, these two things has made the novel much more refreshing - a sci-fi, action omegaverse where the omega is more dominating and powerful than the alpha - so gooood!

the parts of the novel that had romance in it was extremely sweet - so doting that they just spread dog... more>> food wherever they go; while the parts where the action took place, it was exciting; and for the parts that had 'drama' (i guess it could be called that) was heartwrenching

  • character growth: check ✔️
  • interactions between MC and ML = diabetes check ✔️
  • interactions between the other characters: check ✔️ (really like the relationship between their teammates)
  • power couple - family background: check ✔️
  • action - abilities: check ✔️
  • villain (s) = gosh that dumb cousin + one other: check ✔️
  • but pssst the role of Mumu's roommate should probs be comedic relief
It was such a good read - felt happiness, sadness, excitement, pain, warmth, and anger during the entire journey. Therefore, I 100% recommend this novel! <<less

I'm in love with this novel, both MC and ML are cute and funny. I read it all in one go, the start was slow, but the end was satisfactory and realistic. However I was hoping for more scenes with the secondary couple.

I just read it because it short but damn! It was soo good I didn't stop. The couple is so cute. It was refreshing to see an O thats soft but badass. And A thats proud as a peac*ck but respects the O. OMG!!! This is so good!

I really liked reading this novel. Not your typical ABO and the O who is our MC being stronger than the ML was certainly refreshing. MC is a really strong person he has a strong mentality and a bit shy but it was cute. ML was really good he didn’t force the MC he was understanding and didn’t go out of control which is really rare. I also loved how he struggled a lot it was nice to see him get rid of his shackles. However I do have to... more>> say that there is not too much action or drama till the latest chapters. The middle can be said to be really fluff so I understand how some reviews can say that they were bored. I too felt a bit bored ngl and like the other complaints I too feel like this story had quite the potential. Like it is a pity that the author didn’t focuse too much on the action side the abilities or the anti-ability rebels. They are certainly great ideas and could have been used better. I personally enjoyed reading this but can understand others who didn’t enjoy too. But still I think it is a great novel and I do recommend it <<less

Nice twist to omegaverse tropes, distinct flavors to the characters. Thankfully the sailing is not quite so smooth so there is some tension, though no real surprises.

I don't know why some people said the story is not good and all that stuff.... First of all if you're reading something you have to remember they're all fictional... "Fictional".... And the author is the ultimate" God" For that fictional world... It's natural if the plot seems unnatural/unreal as the Author wants it to be unreal... if you're looking for something real then I think History/Autobiography-s are for you guys not these novels...

Now coming to the novel the setting and plot is unique and good... Also after a veeeeryyyy... more>> long time I saw a pampering family (which is really rare especially when it comes to MC... Most of the time MC got abusive family and some times ML is not in good terms with his family and bla bla bla... So I really like wheen author gives MC/ML a pampering family background)... Ending is also beautiful for the main couple tho I thought there'd be family drama for ML but surprisingly everything got solved just like that.... Also the hert disease of the president!!! Author should have Clarified this problem? Because this is bugging me as I really like all the side characters.... But author just gave it a blind eye 😭 <<less

It was a good ABO story, no clichéd trope everyone is treated equally regardless of second gender and no s*upid villain tho I feel like something felt abit rushed but I didn't mind it that much.

The MC is the calm strong type (probably stronger than hubby) whilst ML is strong possessive tyrant, the duo r cute and work well together, and their story makes you really hooked onto them.

I didn't expect there would be such event happening after event and it all happened so fast it felt like a... more>> single arc just passed by and then bam the story finished 😂

Overall the story was quite enjoyable, the side character like the friend group (for exm: Sang bei who's potraying the readers quite well) and the side CP was also good (tho to be frank I wanted more of that AxA CP) <<less

After reading this story all I can say is AHHHHHH the couple is so freaking cute!! I loved how innocent the MC looks and yet he's such a strong macho man in reality. Jiamu and Yesheng are actually the most adorable pairing ever. I was slightly frustrated in the beginning with how attached Jiamu was to the fake CP and how he like ignored Yesheng's feelings in part due to that, but he makes up for it. Really nice dynamics in this story, though everything’s a little dull/anticlimactic. The side CP short was really sudden (not unexpected, but weirdly fast). I’d like to have delved into the backstory more as well.

It is ABO setting with abilities which takes place in e-sports background. Weird? Totally.

The overall impression - too childish. All the interactions, all action scenes - it is a teen novel. (But why it has smut scenes I wonder)

Didn't like it that much.

Translation is good though.

Better than expected from the synopsis. 4.5 (-o.5 for overly-OP MC) but rounded to a 5 to offset low ratings. I usually don't read omega-verse stories, but I like how omegas aren't discriminated against and portrayed as powerless and weak in this novel, and how alphas are also not omnipotent. Cute couple and side-couple, though I feel like the ML's behaviour suddenly turns from aloof to goofy in the first 60-80 chapters.

This Omega is actually too cool.. I'm totally hooked up.. I'd recommend it to any omegaverse lover..

Even though I strongly dislike the animalistic instinct between an Alpha and an Omega, since their feelings basically comes from the pheromones, I like the characters in this novel.. The main characters developed as the story progressed.. The Betas or Omegas can be stronger than Alphas.. Strength here doesn't depend on the gender but the individuals.. It's so refreshing.. I won't say that the reason behind the terrorist attacks is... more>> justified, but it's actually understandable.. Because in reality there are way to many instances exactly similar to this.. But it's always the common people who bear the brunt, whilst the original perpetrators escape unscathed..

The story didn't drag at all, instead it ending is quite rushed.. I actually wish there were a few more side stories.. <<less

I'm only at the current chapters from Chrysanthemum garden, but this novel is definitely A MUST READ! One of the best ABO I ever read.
