The washed-up magician Zong Jiu transmigrated into a horror, infinite flow novel about a survival show, taking the place of the cannon fodder who died tragically in the first evaluation round. This show was very interesting. Out of the tens of thousands of people, only a hundred people could survive, and the c-position (strongest contender) could even get a universal wish ticket.

If it were someone else, they’d probably be scared to death.

No one expected that Zong Jiu was not only unafraid, but also caused a sensational stir, shamelessly showing off his tricks the whole way.

Once his tricks stopped, and his life could be considered safe and sound, he ended up in a rivalry with the novel’s big villain.

Today you try to get at me, tomorrow I’ll get you back, back and forth, it’s pretty fun, heh.

As a result, though it was just playing around, one time they got carried away and really did end up sleeping together. Watching the nemesis who was pressing him to the ground, Zong Jiu lazily lifted his gaze. “If you want to kill me then kill me, don’t speak nonsense.” Even when at a disadvantage, he showed no trace of fear, and actually continued to provoke him.

That person used his ice-cold finger to trace his ear, and the action heading toward the aorta suddenly stopped.

“What a pity. I’ve changed my mind.”

He was once very willing to personally give Zong Jiu death. Every day, he used to regret not gouging out his flesh, personally snapping his neck. But after this person fell into his hands, another, more urgent desire grew like weeds.

Compared to winning or losing, he would rather see him crying and panting, with eyes red, begging for mercy.

One of the best infinite horror cycle I have read so far. Definitely goes on the top 3 list.

As for characterisation

Spoiler

MC is indifferent to everyone, cares only for his own excitement. But he is also very responsible and his indifference is chained by ethical and moral views taught to him by his favourite nun. So, even though he won't help anyone, as long as he takes responsibility for something, he will definitely carry other through.

[collapse]

Spoiler

Now, for ML. Honestly, u will find lots of contradictory views. ML is a villain. And not those k-novel villains who are actually 'good' at heart but he is actually a villain. He is bored out of his mind, super powerful, doesn't care about human life. He will personally kill humans, torture humans and destroy everyone if needed coz that is his character.

He will try to kill MC coz it's in his nature to kill. Later, he will start to fatten up MC so that they can meet in one final 1v1 and he can kill the most interesting and fun person he has ever met (MC). Except he falls in love with MC lmaooo. In the end, he chooses to let MC go free. And in return, MC promises to be with him.

[collapse]

You will either hate ML or love him. I love him gaah.

PvP style IF with a decent MC. The ML is a monumental prick so far and the writing has some serious consistency problems ... more>>
Spoiler

i.e. There is one psychic in the copy, then suddenly there are three when they accuse the MC, and then a chapter or 2 after that there is only one again. Or the the MC can barely dress himself or use eating utensils because of his damaged hands but then he has no problem palming pills or lighting matches or fist fighting, all of which require more dexterity of hand than dressing or eating.

yes, fist fighting, because he suddenly declares he's a qigong practitioner out of nowhere. His past memories were all about being a magician and there was never any hint of such a thing in the earlier chapters so when he suddenly becomes a fighting expert it feels very off.

[collapse]

For once I'm hoping the translators do a little work and smooth out those inconsistencies, though I realize there is only so much they can do to try and make it flow better/ make sense/ etc.

I'm going to leave it at four since I didn't make it through the whole story; maybe I'll try again later but I am seriously disliking this ML. My rating for the moment is 3.5 <<less

I just want to start this off by saying even though I disliked this novel, I still think that anybody interested in it should give it a try. Maybe you'll find it more enjoyable than I did. I honestly don't think this is a terrible novel, it just did not work out for me and I'll explain why.

There are.. So many things I dislike about this novel, but let's start with the things I liked.

1. The concepts. I think this novel had amazing concepts and ideas. There were many different... more>> types of mythology added to the instances that you could tell the author definitely did a bit of research. It was nice to see the author add in different elements to make the novel more intriguing alongside the typical uf survival horror aspect

2. Comedy. I found various scenes hilarious and even as my interest in the novel dwindled during the second half of the story, there were still some scenes that had me chuckling.
Spoiler

For example, the duo instance with Zong jiu & No. 10 (?) was absolutely comical.

[collapse]

That's all I liked. Now let's start with the things I didn't like.

1. Plot. The best part about uf novels is almost always the plot. In TT, it was severely lacking and is honestly what pushed my rating down. I found myself bored with each and every arc. I think the only arc I kind of liked was the cards one. Other than that? Meh. The problem with each of these arcs is that it's.. Boring. It's not as exciting as other uf novels nor is it really that interesting. The MC basically figures out things last minute and it takes an overwhelming amount of chapters for things to progress. I guess the last two arcs were interesting in a way, but it was just not well written imo.

2. Repetition. This was the final straw for me. I don't know why many danmei authors seem to constantly repeat the same things in their novels so many times. It is so incredibly annoying and frustrating to read the same exact sentences get repeated (just in different ways) in a novel. This was made even worse in this one due to the live broadcast comments. The amount of times I've skipped those comments is insane like they were very unnecessary. There would be something explained to readers in 3 paragraphs then the comments would an additional 3 more to explain it again like???

3. Romance. I'm probably the only one who thinks this, but I don't see how the MCs got together. Yes, there was tension. But.. That was it? Like, I didn't feel any love between them—well, except maybe on the ml's side. The whole novel was just them being "enemies"
Spoiler

(but not really because the ML kept helping the MC like almost every time)

[collapse]
The last arc didn't change my mind on them and just pushed me to believe that it was one-sided instead. I just don't believe Zong jiu fell in love with the ml. And speaking of zong jiu..

4. Characters. Zong jiu's character was disappointing. I liked him.. Up until the second half of the story where he just began to annoy me. I don't know if the author meant to write him as a MC who denies feeling any emotions while it's clear that he actually does feel them..? Because the amount of times he's described as being this.. Cold, indifferent person, but then shows some obvious feelings (such as guilt, joy, anger) confused me. Also, he was not as strong as I expected. I went into this thinking he'd be a smart, calculating magician who uses his brain to actually solve problems or come up with plans on his own, but that wasn't him at all. Almost every problem he encounters, he's immediately granted a solution and I say granted because it's mostly other characters
Spoiler

cough No. 3 & No. 1

[collapse]
that tend to give him one. I don't know.. He just wasn't as I expected considering the tags. I also hated how many times the novel emphasized how beautiful he was like okay, we get it.. Lol.

In addition to the MC, I also found the side characters undeveloped and not interesting.
Spoiler

The side couple did not intrigue me at all and I just found Xu su annoying.

[collapse]

There are more things I disliked about this novel such as the pacing, the fact that it did not need to be over 200 chapters long, the ridiculous plot holes, the many unanswered questions about the system and infinite loop.. But I'll just leave it at that. I think this novel had the potential to be great, but was simply executed poorly. <<less

Excellent novel! (♡˙︶˙♡) I started this novel with low expectations because many unlimited flow novels are unable to maintain the initial hype as the story progresses so I didn't want to disappoint myself. However, this novel was pretty consistent from start to finish be it the story or the characterization. The story isn't that gory but some arcs are a little disturbing.

The thriller trainee competition is where current players in the infinite loop and non-players in the real world compete for the c-position aka the No.1. The reward is a... more>> wishing ticket where the best player can make any wish they want. This is one of the main reason why the MC and ML are enemies as the both of them have different wishes/goals. However as the story progresses the ML's goal became unimportant as compared to the MC.

I actually really do like the MC even though he is somewhat emotionless. He's born lacking emotions so he's not so expressive and may come off as cold but I actually find him pretty nice..? He doesn't understand what is right or wrong so he "chains" himself to stand by the promises he made to others, making him come off as somewhat reliable and compassionate. This is what sets him apart from the ML as the author has stated a few times that the MC and ML are actually really similar. Also, although the MC is OP like he's smart and all but he's not omnipotent.

Spoiler

For example, he can't physically overpower the ML because the system have a limit to how much one can improve their physical qualities, he's not a solo player that can pass every instance but still needs his teammates help and he's not like other MCs who knows every little thing while the others are kept in the dark. In fact I find Zhuge An, another S-rank way more OP than the MC lmao. It's mainly because the MC and ML are fated enemies hence the responsibility of dealing with the ML is on the MC.

[collapse]

Oh boy, next the ML. I never expected to like the ML as much as I did. Well, I never hated him but I thought he'll be a typical ML but he's actually really cute. He's playful and charming but it's only when we reach the Arc where his backstory is revealed that I ended up liking him so much (*˘︶˘*)

Spoiler

The ML only lived as a human until he was 6 years old and got sacrificed to accept all the malice and evil accumulated for a hundred years from everyone in the entire world (an s-rank world). Essentially he have already died when he was 6 and reborn into true malice. His "goodness" for 6 years is also returned with betrayal so I can see why he is filled with nothing but evil.

When he regressed into 6 years old in the Judgment day Arc, he is really so cute and obedient TT not willing to let go of the rabbit doll the MC gave him when he was scared of sleeping alone during thunderstorms. Keeping the rabbit doll in his bed even after the instance was over despite the doll being burned and ruined (ಡ‸ಡ)

[collapse]

I can't get over the rabbit doll TT it's like the softest part of him was given by the MC.

For the romance, I really like the dynamics between the couple and how their relationship developed from enemies to lovers. I don't think the leads hated each other but it's more of standing in different camps and ML's playful mu*der attempts antagonizing their relationship. It doesn't help that they're fated enemies too lmao. You can tell they both enjoy and find fun one-upping each other. The MC is apathetic while the ML is not really human so the both of them don't understand the concept of love. So things like ML's faded killing intent and MC allowing ML into his personal space represents the change in their hearts.

The last bit that has my heart was the fact that the ML understands the concept of, "If you love something, set it free. If it comes back to you, it's yours. If it doesn't, it never was.".

-

My one complain is that the novel is too short and people die too fast (・・;) ゞ Alas, I would also like to see more extras about the couple after the main story.

Anyway this is getting long so, to finish, I highly recommend anyone who is still contemplating about starting this novel to read it. It has both thrilling and emotional arcs with great chemistry and s*xual tension between the leads so what are you still waiting for (。•̀ᴗ-) ✧ The translation is great so thank you to the team for their hard work! <<less

MC is s*upidly OP and extremely boring. Despite the horror tag, the novel loses all sense of horror thanks to this as well.

ML's backstory makes me feel nothing and actually makes his character feel less real.

MC and ML have barely any chemistry. The reviews are honestly such a lie.

Overall narrative is very thought-out and you can tell the author put a lot of care and effort crafting the world-building. Unfortunately they're not good at writing compelling main characters that feel genuine. Which is odd because the side characters feel more... more>> believable, and there were even some incredible moments especially in the exam instance.

I'm dropping this because I lost interest after waiting for translation updates. I think it's a testament that this novel didn't keep me interested in continuing reading.

And the reason why my review is so blunt is because in my opinion, this novel is overrated and many readers sing far too many praises for the main characters and their relationships when it's really the weakest part of this novel. I noticed that there is actually a trend in which extremely OP and cold MCs are highly favoured by readers here for some reason, which causes ratings to be incredibly unreliable. <<less

I have mixed thoughts on this novel so far. On one hand, I'm hooked. I was reading this non stop for the past week, even sneaking in chapters during work hours because I couldn't put it down. The writing is very good and suspenseful, and the author keeps the reader engaged easily without over complicating the plot. I don't really like the comment barrage from the livestreaming, because I think it's lazy writing and no online commenter is ever logical, they mostly just troll in real life. I also find... more>> the set up of the world, and the ML kind of weird.

Apparently there's over 10 000 trainees at the beginning and every instance around half gets wiped out. First it's about every man for themselves and then the next chapter apparently there's tons of organizations and etc. And every instance there's always newcomers mixed in with S-level contenders, which doesn't make sense because they all struggle the same way. I cannot see the difference between the newcomer and the S-levels besides the fact that the newcomers shiver with fear more often and seem to be brain dead while the S-levels don't freak out as much. It's also weird that the S-levels seem like idols to the whole horror instance world, when apparently thriller trainee is a special competition. Are these S-levels also the only S-levels outside of the competition too?

Also, main issue, is that I picked up this novel thinking it was BL. While it's clear who the male lead is and all that, I'm 190 chapters into a 259 chapter novel and the two protagonists are not remotely together. Not that I need them to be, but it's just lust from the ML and absolutely no interest from the MC.

Spoiler

The novel also tries to pin both MC and ML as the "same type of people" but I don't feel that way? The ML is a true antisocial psychopath. He lives off of thrills and doing what he finds "interesting" and has no care or emotions. He feels lust for MC and that drives him to be a creepy stalker, he is narcissistic and cares about himself first and only and does not give a crap about anyone else. MC is only an object of lust for him, so far. He wants to violate him in the same way he wants to destroy and hurt him. It's not romantic or beautiful in any way. It's not even the sexy kind of lust.

MC on the other hand, is just totally apathetic and seems asexual. He's physically beautiful because of his albino gene, but he literally feels no connection to anyone around him and has no emotional fluctuation beyond anger if things don't go his way. He is not psychotic, not antisocial, has no feelings of lust or romance at all. Just null. One of the characters in the novel says he is creating attachments to himself but that's not true. MC does actually care about the people around him, just not in the traditional sense. He cared about the 2 lives that were lost in the school instance, about the contestant whose love died, about how his allies are. He isn't at all the antisocial psychopath and is absolutely not the "same type" as ML. So there's not really Yin and Yang to me.

And again, I'm 190 chapters into a 259 chapter novel.. I absolutely cannot see these two characters together as a couple. I cannot even imagine them hooking up because MC is so ace.

Interesting premise, but I found myself losing interest multiple times and only continued reading because I wanted to see the end. That's not to say that it's bad though, I feel I might have just been misled by my expectations. So I'm going to wait until more is translated to give it another! (Although it should be said that the MTL is not too bad to read because the author has a very straightforward approach to writing -- not a lot of metaphors in the description!)

CHARACTERS:

Zong Jiu (MC) : A magician with a Dr. Strange-esque background (his hands were ruined after the incident and he was no longer able to perform magic). After entering the Thriller Trainee competition as a transmigrator, he gets a chance to turn... more>> his luck around.

Minor Spoilers:
Spoiler

The MC is the apathetic type. He doesn't feel much emotion, which is explained later on in the story. As a transmigrator, it stands to reason that he knows a few things about the Thriller Trainee competition, but it's really only just a little. He stopped reading the novel before the first instance was even solved.

[collapse]

No. 1 (ML) : The No. 1 trainee, also called the Devil, is the ML of this novel. He has an appropriate devil-may-cry attitude and is pretty mysterious in the early stages of the novel. It seems like he doesn't show up at all in the beginning, but he ends up actually being one of the most present in the first instance.

Important Side-Characters: There are many side-characters in this story, but because of the way the instances are arranged, they're pretty scattered. The only constants are:

  • Zhuge-An: No.3 S-Rank! He has the appearance of being omnipotent.
  • Xu Sen and Xu Su: Newcomers (non-voluntary trainees) that have sworn themselves to the MC.
  • Von Zuo: No. 2 S-Rank! Vampire with a mysterious relationship with the original!MC
  • N0. 10: The 10th S-Ranker is also featured a lot but his name is so mixed between the clean translation and the MTL that it can be confusing at first LOL. He has really bad luck.
ROMANCE:

The novel isn't really very romantic but I kept reading primarily because I love their dynamic. It follows the enemies-to-lovers (???) trope, wherein the two main characters start off as rivals but through twists and turns, their interests in each other begin to change. Etc. Etc.

SETTING:

Zong Jiu, the MC, appears in the Thriller Trainee competition along with thousands of other newcomers. After the first task, the remaining newcomers were instantly thrown into an instance along with the Thriller Trainee volunteers. Each instance is of course different, but they all function the same way -- the trainee must complete the main task in order to be able to pass. If they fail, they'll either be thrown into the punishment instance or they're obliterated by the system. If they pass, they win survival points and the chance to move up a rank (note: after the instances, trainees in the lowest rank will also be thrown into the punishment instance.)

PLOT:

The apathetic MC is confronted with a daredevil ML~ The two are prophesized to be against each other, and while the MC doesn't believe in fate or destiny, the enmity between the two is pretty undeniable -- it's clear that they seem to have been purposefully set against each other, somehow both similar to each other and complete opposites.

RATING:

For now, my rating for this is somewhere between 3.5 and 4 out of 5. We shall see if it will improve in my next read! I don't really have much to say. Can't explain why I decided to stop reading. Might be leftover enthusiasm from the last novel (which was an ult. Fav) overshadowing my enjoyment for this one. Still recommend that you try to read it for yourself if you like the relationship dynamics and the premise. <<less

DONT TALK TO ME I'M SPASMING BECAUSE OF ADRENALINE.

What did I just read?

Triller Trainee... Triller Trainee... Gosh, TAKE MY MONEY.

... more>> That's so good. The author is obviously a genius. One time I thought the MC is really a goner, then I got slapped in the face over and over again.

Dude's a BAD*SS COLD-HEARTED POISONOUS FLOWER POWER BOTTOM. I luv black and white couple and this is it. The MC is a fierce white "beauty". The ML is that black bellied Devil. It's like Night and Day, Cold and warmth, Moon and Sun, Light and Dark, Hero and Villain. They're so opposed to each other, their encounters makes my blood boil and sends shivers down my spine. The excitement, thrill and fear is real.

I feel like I'm back in those days watching shounen anime fight scenes where the protagonist turns the table 180° against their opponents. It makes me so excited I got goosebumps.

This is actually one of my favorite Infinite flow Horror BL novels. <<less

What a disappointment. I had had high hopes for this novel seeing all the reviews but it was a complete letdown.

First of all, the MC. The author is forcefully pushing this narrative that he is this cold, emotionless guy. However, that's not the case at all. He feels guilt, friendship and even anger and lust. And the author tries to cover it all up by saying that it's because he made a promise. He also doesn't suffer any defeats. Everything is smooth sailing, especially since the ML is helping him... more>> all the time.

None of the side characters particularly stand out either.
Spoiler

Apart from Zhuge An, who ended up actually being the dead teacher.

[collapse]

There character called Xu Su also got on my nerves. He didn't have any other purpose other than constantly bursting into tears.
Spoiler

He was only there to push the MC into making the wish to revive all the dead, as his lover, Xu Sen died.

[collapse]
He's nothing but a weakling who is constantly pinning all his hopes on the MC. And I don't know how the MC seems to have developed a friendship with him? In the dungeon where they met, Xu Su was only a follower who didn't make much of an appearance.

There were a lot of plot holes.
Spoiler

For example, in Las Vegas, how did Zong Jiu, the MC, get the 20, 000 points at the start (After the first 10, 000) ? I thought he traded the S-class item but clearly not? And the main system wants to return to a higher dimension. How did it fall to a lower dimension in the first place? And how did the MC transmigrate into the book?

[collapse]
The author seems to just mention things and then proceed to forget about them.

Overall, a novel with unlikeable characters, an inconsistent plot and with no major plot twists. I was really hoping the ending would redeem it but it was just a waste of my time. <<less

If you are looking for a plot focused book, maybe you will not enjoy this story as much as I did.

To clarify, the plot is NOT awful at all, but it is definitely not a masterpiece.

... more>> BUT! If you are looking for exceedingly complex but masterfully well-written characters, this is a great book.

If the book was written in the POV of any other character, you get a MC that is clever but still cares about others... but the book is written from the perspective of the MC, so you actually understand that the only difference between him and the ultimate villain is that he was taught he should act good, and there is not much genuine goodness in his heart. All the reviews are keeping the ML's identity secret so I'll keep that trend, just know that despite being portrayed as polar oposites they are actually two beasts, the only difference is that one decides to stay trapped, very big emphasis on decides.

It's your classic transmigration-unlimited flow with an ACTUAL enemies to lovers (real killing intent mixed with bloody kisses). Both MC and ML are extremely powerful and cunning characters, constantly trying to mu*der and one-up the other, but even if the ML is portrayed more OP and physically strong I stand by the fact that if anyone ever lost in all their battles it was him XD.

That being said, despite the unlimited flow theme I do feel that the book is more romance centered, or at least centered around the main couple, their complex personalities and the relationship they have with the other (it is HE!). Still, I enjoyed every second of it and will totally read it again in the future.

If you are seeking for a enemies to lovers centered book that still has the thrill and messed up aspects of unlimited flow (without a strong or prominent thriller aspect), this is perfect for you!!! <<less

Thriller Trainee is... thrilling. It's danger meets danger. Spiteful meets petty. Con-artist meets manipulator. God's favorite meets devil incarnate. And then they bang. (A lot)

The MC

  • His anthem should be Britney Spears' Circus
  • World's Most Beautiful Trainee
  • Dr Strange kind of backstory
  • Go big or go home philosophy. A casino hates to see him coming.
  • Vindictive and vengeful, and he's primarily self-serving... quite possibly a sociopath? Definitely a hedonist. But he wouldn't mess with others just for the lolz
  • Loves: Magic tricks, antagonising the ML as much as possible,... and cats. (I knew there was a reason I like him)
The ML

  • You might spend the first few chapters playing 'Where's the ML?' (trick question, he's Everywhere)
  • Voldemort kind of reputation
  • Red flag kind of ML but it would be weirder if he weren't. But he learns, trust!
  • His crimes against the MC includes: attempted mu*der (s), stalking, taking every opportunity to eat tofu, hijacking his cat, etc.
  • The real question about the ML isn't 'why is he evil?' but 'why isn't he MORE evil?!'. (But he gets better, trust!)
Other stuff worth mentioning:

Spoiler
  • The ending was absolutely perfect and exactly what I expected from the crafty MC who wouldn't settle for anything else. He managed to keep all his promises and still fulfilled his selfish desire to stay in the loop with the ML.
  • The reveal about No.3 was anti-climatic. I still maintain that he would make an excellent ML if the MC didn't choose someone else to match his freak instead.
  • The Xu side CP was so unexpected but so adorable... and then it was ripped away from us. But then we got them back. Yay!
  • All the S-Rank supporting characters are pretty interesting. I would have loved them to have more personal storylines of their own.
  • I really thought the punishment instance and final 1v1 would be grueling. Well, it's grueling for the MC in a different way... (light a candle for the MC's chrysanthemum)
  • The final extras having og!ML appear like Bingmei in SVSSS lmaooo it's too funny. At least this og!ML managed to find his own MC to keep for himself.
  • My favorite arc is the high school one because of the sheer despair and intensity of the instance. My least favorite... probably Judgement Day because it was dull, and only the ML's backstory reveal was interesting. I also consider everything after Crazy Circus to be bonus chapters because it started to hyperfocus on the romance, and the whole Thriller Trainee competition started to become redundant.

Please read!! Main CP was so good and I loved how MC matched ML's freak!!! Plot was awesome and loved the worldbuilding and the character relationships. Usually in other novels, the side characters feel very flat and 2D, but this author really made them feel like real people with actual motives! MC is a magician and wants to heal his injured hands through the system. He's really cool-headed and keeps his calm! ML and MC's relationship was chef's kiss. I don't usually like side-cp but the one in Thriller Trainee... more>> grasped at my heartstrings and wouldn't let go!

First of all, as a face con I like the author's description of the MC, he is so beautiful such that even his bearing is Ethereal. The MC is very lucky, it's said that luck is also a type of strength so I like that he's lucky. At first I was reluctant to read because of the ML personality because I hate characters with twisted personalities. But after reading about his backstory I understand why he's how he is and make it even more apparent just how much he loves... more>> the MC. Despite being twisted, he's not like those other MLs who r*pe their partners. Most of all, I like how during the initial stages whenever the ML set a stumbling block for the MC, the MC is able to come out on top due to his nature of being vengeful even towards little things. <<less

Wow I cant express how much I love this novel. This is one of the novel that has raise my standard... Ill start by the pro

  • This novel has so much tension and honestly satisfy my craving
  • No weak MC here (truth to be told after reading this im quite bored with weak MC or fragile in other novel)
  • All the arc is super satisfying and easy to understand
  • The MC and ML doesnt hit off early and you can see the romance building
  • The ML doesn't fall in love early and doesnt help the MC to win at all
  • Broo there so much more but this is one of my top fav
  • The arc are not boring and there is depth in the char background
Okay with the cons

  • Honestly I think this novel is perfect but I think the ML love for MC is confusing
  • The ML show up in the game but only interact with mc
  • ML the cliche type cold powerful I think it okay because the MC shines more
I honestly recommend reading thissss so good never disappoint

Ps. bad grammar

Nvm I expected a lot from this novel but I really cant get into it. I hate the fact that ML is a creep who seuxally harrasses the MC; I can appreciate toxic yaoi but seriously..
Spoiler

it first happens when the ML was controlling a pervy doctor who strips the MC, reminder that they don't even know each other yet at this point, it was just tasteless and made me feel disgusted

[collapse]

Another peeve is how the MC is an albino male but only has the visuals of being one yet miraculously don't have the harmful side effects, sounds a bit convenient no? I know I shouldn't judge this harshly since from my years of reading novels, authors aren't mindful of these things since they mostly just focus on writing what makes an MC beautiful or OP. Still won't stop me from getting irked out.

It might just me being unable to immerse myself but the arcs aren't quite notable imo. They're well-written but not exceptionally unique. People say the MC isn't totally OP either but honestly he kinda is.. He didn't work for any of what he got now, he's conveniently lucky and I wish I would've seen him actually find anything challenging.

Honestly it's worth a try but it's just not my cup of tea.

I loved the premise but the ML being an assaulting perv/creep just turned me off so much.

Spoiler

and based on comments here it looks like this behavior isn't even gonna change for about a hundred chapters

[collapse]

I like the MC but with this type of stories I feel like the author is just gonna make him overshadowed by the ml

making him strong but ofc the ML had to be stronger lol

Very easy to MTL, and was readable.

I loved all the character and the chemistry between them. Originally I thought number 3 was the ML but yeah, clearly proven wrong. The way it built up and the way that the devils feelings kept changing was just 🤌. I highly recommend this to someone who loves enemies to lovers.

Just made an account to write for this. It's amazing, I've been looking for a novel to read for about a week now as a lot of the novels I found irritated me one way or another with the illogical content or annoying s*upid MC. This is just perfect, it doesn't make my head hurt. I love the chemistry.

Mtl is understandable

Edit: completed, I love it so much. Thank you

Good novel! My rating is around 4.5

Although The ending is somewhat predictable, it is very satisfying for me, esp the after stories of the characters. In addition, the copies and events of infinite loop are really well thought. However, the love story of MC and ML is just a common trope where the S1 rank is the ML and is overpowered. Nevertheless, it gets more and more interesting in the 2nd half of novel. But the near ending story disappointed me since... more>>
Spoiler

I expected a more exciting climax in the copy yet I was given with a yaoi scenes

Most of the readers will find to dislike the ML (like me) !! But his personality is still bearable

Spoiler

ML oppresses (wants to kill at first) the MC every time due to his boredom and difference in ideology. He seems like a child. But he is really a child (6y/o) but is forced to become an adult due to malice. The story will become unpredictable and more exciting If only the author makes the S#2 or S#3 the ML.

[collapse]

The MC is also described as cold, indifferent and similar to ML yet he is kind and chivalrous (which I like). This is probably due to his childhood-brought up by nun.

Downside: there's an indefinite rating in trainees (changes are minimal in S rank, yet great in low levels etc), unlike some infinite flow or episodic horror BL where there's a systematic ranking from viewers, copy completion, side stories accomplishment.

Second, some little plot holes. Third, the author insisted that each stands in the opposite sides yet they are similar but the author failed to describe the details of comparing or stating the similarities between them (mc/ml) in the beginning of story. Only near the end that their each pasts are told (very briefly).
Spoiler

It was only stated that they're on opposite side but have similarities. It's better to narrate in the early chapters the past life of MC and in the middle, the life of ML so the readers can see the DISTINCTIONS (similarities or differences to MC and ML that led to each present personalities).
