It's fine, but the longer I read, the less I could stomach the novel's shortcomings.

1) Too many secondary male leads. I don't know the ending, so there are three stocks right now, with three more in a background admirer role, and it's kinda too much. I know I will feel bad for whoever two of secondary MLs ends up alone, so I don't want to read further and make myself even more upset.

2) Too OP in backyard fighting, even if MC says herself that she never had that experience in... more>> her previous life. At the same time, revenge plot - investigation of her own death and death of most of her family members is basically non-existent.

But if you like backyard fighting and numerous male leads (no actual romance actions, considering MC age in this life) each with a compelling plot, then go for it. <<less

It’s my second novel by the author and I really like her FLs. This one is calm levelheaded but very independent. Initially I really dislike the ML but slowly I was convinced. It’s really hard not to like such a devoted male lead. The story is captivating and the events keeps happening without a dull moment. I just feel some villains didn’t get proper retribution and were over too fast but it’s also good. Translation is good. Love the FL immediate family: her step brother, her parents and her grandma.... more>> The 2nd aunt is also funny. <<less
