Lu Lin resigned from his job in the big city, returned to the countryside, and inherited the convenience mart left by his parents. Then a thunderstorm sent Lu Lin to an unfamiliar ancient era. Lu Lin was reborn as a young man with the same name and surname as himself, and he was about to be married to a fierce Bio who goes up the mountain to fight tigers.

Adjusting to ordinary farming, not a long story.

Note: In this story, “Bios” typically have manly features and a birthmark shaped like a flower on their forehead. They are not as tall as men and they are able to bear children, but childbirth is more difficult than it is for women.

Such a good story. We don't get to see the really rich and powerful couple at the end, but they had what they worked for with effort and not thanks to any mary sue label. It made me so sad to see everyone grow and have their own children, I felt almost like a mother.

It is such a great story❤ I love how light and fulfilling this story was

The MC is such a foodie that he influences not only his family but also the whole country. And the ML is so cute, he started with being frugal that he will scold MC in his heart for being wastrel but would still spoil him to buy everything he likes and in the end, the whole family became like ML who will buy and eat everything they like

I love every characters and to be honest there... more>> is no characters I didn't like except the both sides bloodsucking family

This not a story where everything is on the right track. There is ups and downs but it will be solved in reasonable way

The MC didn't really depend on the store for the whole story but what his golden finger really is, is that he is a transmigrator and he use and integrated his knowledge of the things from the modern society to the time and space where he is to not only make his live easy and comfortable but also to the people around him

All in all this is one of my favorite novel that I will surely reread.

I actually want to cry that it ends so fast that I red it for just 2 days <<less

A decent slice of life story of a transmigrated person and his family’s efforts of having a better life.

Very little romance tbh, but I like that its just background to the simple plot.

What I don’t like is that about 80% of the story isn’t in the MCs POV. A lot of the first half were just chapters and chapters of the MC and ML’s family and how they’re suffering. The latter half was just other side characters and their lives.

Story would’ve been better if it focused on the business/city building... more>> aspects more, and if his ‘cheat’ was a lot more useful than just simple storage. <<less

Its one of the most relaxing slice of life transmigration novel ive read so far

Honestly I want to eat the food theyre mentioning, my google tabs are filled with different cuisines now.

Theyre happy im happy but the ending seemed rush but im not complaining cus it ended well without the need to overcomplicate an uncomplicated story.

You know the story is good when you get to the end and you're sad that the author hasn't written it anymore.

It was the exactly feeling I got when end of this novel... I could easily read another 100 chapters of this novel.

The way the author writes is so simple! It doesn't take long for the story to unfold and the author doesn't waste time with uninteresting things, I like to see slap face scenes, so I really like how the author always shows the reaction of the MC and ML relatives when they know how successful in life MC and ML are.

The only complaint I have is the lack of romantic interactions. You know that MC and ML love each other, but there's no kind of "fluffy" that we always expect. But that didn't make me like this novel any less! The story is amazing!

I saw someone criticizing ML at the beginning, but ML besides being a Ger, had to fight against his whole family and support two children A-L-O-N-E. ML couldn't be weak. ML didn't have time to worry about a person who would rather commit su*cide than marry him. He was fighting in the mountains, risking his own life every day so he wouldn't let his brothers starve to death.

He used all the money he had to buy MC. He didn't have the financial conditions to treat MC. And, even if he have, winter was coming and ML's younger brother always got sick in winter. Obviously, ML would rather use the money on his brother than on a stranger who doesn't want to marry him. If I was ML, I would do the same, MC is an adult and can make his decisions on his own. ML needs to take care of two children.

And obviously, ML's brother won't like MC at first. I also wouldn't like someone who would rather commit su*cide than marry my brother who is like a mother and father to me. Everyone in the village thinks ML is a monster. ML's brother knows what people say about ML. Obviously, he's going to be hostile towards everyone who say and think bad things about ML, which includes MC (The children don't know that MC has transmigrated) <<less

It isn't bad, but the title is accurate. Everything is convenient. Nothing really happens. They are always successful. There are tons of side characters and plots that are just filler. It is a good read if you want something comfortable. Also the whole convenience store thing is dropped almost entirely just a short ways in.

I came here to write a review as soon as I finish the novel! The novel is so good, from start to ending it made me want to read more and more. I even got a bit emotional when I read the last sentence of the novel. It's so exciting to see the characters grown throughout the long journey. Also, this is my first time that I actually finish reading all 175 chapters!

Totally recommend to read this.

This is a bit different from many Transmigrator who Transmigrated into ancient time. First, because MC has Magical Space. Second, MC actually sold a beer from modern time but in jug, so he said it was homemade. Third, MC told this secret faster than actually tried to hide it to his Wife.

Anyway, ML's family and ML himself is so grateful with the existence of MC even though at first they dislike him. But only for very short time because MC immediately grab their heart with his Cooking and the fact... more>> rather than make them poor, he keep make them rich!

ML also started to show his Cute side!

I think it's worth money. Pray this is really worth it!

Seriously, this novel is WHY I finally started reading Danmei novel with Gong Protagonist. And this is the first novel that made me in LOVE and keep reading and searching for Farming/Business in Ancient Time novel!!!

The story is Top Notch!

The Ending is Great!!!

The Business is Fulfilling!!!

The Faceslapping was Satisfying!!!

It wasn't Perfect, but it has it own Perfection! The Flow of the Story is Smooth and All the (Good) Characters are Great!

It's definitely Worth the Money and Worth the time I patiently use to fill the SP to read this novel. 10/10 Absolutely Recommended without Hesitation! <<less

Love it. One of the best of the transmigration poor to rich tropes.

What I liked

The world building is a bit cliche but it's consistent and makes you feel like you are in ancient times.

... more>> The convenience store doesn't become one of those annoying gold fingers used to fill plot holes, it's mostly used to get their starting capital then kinda disappears for a long while.

The ML is boss! He's a bio (ger/ mpreg boys) but he has super strength and has no qualms beating up shameless relatives.

What I didn't like.

Cai's wedding/engagement

Ok the MC has been in that world for like a year and a half at most. That is nowhere near long enough to have adopted the ancient mentality of looking at an 11 year old and saying "let's get him engaged ASAP! Since crazy mamas are hounding us and there's a cute young thing he likes Why not?" He's 11!! 11!! But to be honest most transmigrated MC seem to do this so I really shouldn't judge.

2. The ML kinda looses his spark as they get rich. He doesn't become a doormat or Lord forbid a damsel in distress but he kinda simmers down which can be attributed to parenthood but still😣.

But overall I really liked this slice of life story. <<less

Another traansmigrated MC gong into a marriage with a ML shou.

This one is also unique in itself. A bit similar with Ugly Husband and Manly Husband but there's also few differences which made it special and not boring. This story mainly tells how MC, ML, ML's 2 brothers, their servants struggle to manage their livelihood in an era where war might open and poverty is everywhere.

The story also ends in a good way. If the author forced to write more and more until 2nd generation or 3rd generation, it will... more>> be another copas, copy paste, plot. Over and over the same plot be repeated will only be boring. - The romance is not written in full detail, but they're very close to each other. From tehe first time MC transmigrated, he and ML are alw going everywhere together.

- No love rival, no big enemy, no palace/political intrique. MC maintains a low profile. And NO, they dont go to live in the capital.

- Earlier chapters, ML is described as very manly, strong hunter, very outspoken, never care of whatever people badmouthing him, can take drastic action to ensure his brothers safety, and never afraid of threatening those elderly. After meeting MC, and involve with MC business minded thinking, and after dealing with his (and MC) own bad families, ML pov and narration is written a bit less. This I can understand, coz there's no direct conflict anymore that should be solved by ML. It's not like there should be a character development for ML. Why? Because ML character is alr good. Even if he's a ger/bio, he's not timid, not inferior, never puts any of those rumor in his head, he's strong. He can do anything, and he never feels any less with his behavior. After MC opens up his real situation, ML becomes even more happy and fearless. But for those around them, they'll all change and not the same lowly villager.

- Also, we're not presented with their children just like the other novel instead the children are ML's younger brothers. ML 2 younger brothers are inovlved very close and helped with MC business, the 2nd brother is like a tsundere brat but he's become a good capable business man with MC guidance. For MC, the youngest is like his own son, coz he helps nurtured him from he's a 5yo.

- MC doesnt take the scholar route (thank goodness, getting bored) instead he's taking the merchant route, and straight bought his official seat and be a magistrate so people cannot mess around with his family.

- All the old characters from the village are still appearing sometimes, so we still hear their fate, mainly the 2 families of MC and ML. <<less

Lu Lin seems too... weak for my taste, he has a shop so he can support himself wherever he is, in fact being alone is more convenient for him since no one would find out his secret, not only that, people from the Chen family threaten him, treat him like tools and want to let him die but he really thinks it's a good idea to reveal his secret to Chen Xiao Mi? He doesn't resist when threatened, doesn't think about running away? He even decided to make Chen Xiao... more>> Mi fall in love with him??? What kind of pathetic MC is this??

A joke that is quite overused in the novel is the fact that the MC and the ML hide their wealth as "the best kept secret" even from the ML's own brother, they treat him like an idiot and don't tell him anything, so everyone thinks they are poor or that they are employees but in reality they are rich, it is funny at first but after more than a hundred chapters it is not funny anymore, especially because the protagonists reached a level where their relatives could not really bother them, so there was no need to continue but it went on too long, and when they finally said it it didn't even take two chapters before they went somewhere else...

The part where they changed counties was totally unnecessary, the author only did this to lengthen the story further, the protagonists literally had to start everything from scratch after spending the entire f*cking novel creating a business, more than a hundred chapters for nothing!! Not to mention that all of that was unnecessary, they could have given him money some of the super rich people who went to his store to support them, after all it was impossible for such rich people not to have one or two relatives who were officials, plus some of those rich people were good friends of them, or they could also separate, let Lu Lin leave the county to become an official and Chen Xiaomi take care of the store after all it was only for a short time that Lu Lin had to serve, it made no sense for them to sell and lose absolutely everything...

It wasn't the first time the author tried to lengthen the novel with filler, there were chapters that were simply gossipy comments from the villagers, literally the entire chapter was just random conversations about some gossip or speculation about them, at first I thought the author was doing this to cause more impact when the news was revealed that the protagonists were rich, etc, but after seeing that the news didn't even last two chapters I realized no, it was just a waste of time...

But to be fair it's not the worst thing I've read, it seems that nowadays it's hard to find a good novel, if you don't have too many expectations this novel can even be enjoyable, since there isn't much drama, no bloodshed, no problems, it's just "a slice of life" as the labels say 🤷🏻‍♀️ <<less

alright okay. originally it was 4.5 for me, because I love your old cliche rag to riches and tons of dog blood plot. I didnt even care if the romance scale was down to the ground, I basically only read this to waste time, and to tell you, this is a solid 5 stars for that.

thats when MC decided to buy the official position. I really just dont get it. it seems like money can solve everything to them.

got arrested? easy, bail money 300 taels.

and then right away buy an official position for a friggin 3000 teals. just because that once occasion. I knew they been planing for years to do this, but making a literally made up accusation as the catalyst of them finally buying that position as to no longer be able to be bullied...... brooo wtf what kind of logic is that.

MC was basically painted as pampered young master by ML at the beginning. but then ofcourse its totally okay for them to go to a location with harsh condition to be a MAGISTRATE. by a shortcut (read: money)

this is just too laughable to me. because I cant figure out what was the motivation for this. like... you dont have the ability. you can barely read 4 years ago. you dont study to take the exam. were the officials that much of a joke there? someone with no background and no study at all can be a magistrate as long as you have money.... then why dont those wealthy merchants do that? like... if someone like MC could be successful (and it seems like he would) doing this, why cant any other actual scholar that actually put a bit of an effort?

It’s a good novel. The chapters weren’t long, and the characters were enjoyable to read. There was a bunch of face-slapping, but it was well-deserved, so I would recommend it.

Beware, there is very little romance in this novel. Honestly, if the novel didn’t clearly state that the MC and the ML were a couple, I would simply think they were best friends who decided to do business together. I think I can remember they hugged at least two or three times in the novel. If their kids didn’t call them... more>> dad and daddy, I would think their kids were their younger siblings or family members they were taking care of. <<less

So good, this novel gave a sweet after test. Very convenient to be entertained just like the name suggested. Warning though It's not some romance novel. It had romance but in a very subtle way mainly in protagonist's case, other side couple got their little romance here and there but still very subtle.¯⁠\⁠_⁠ (⁠ツ⁠) ⁠_⁠/⁠¯

MC wasn't really all OP as in many novel where they came to ancient time. The things he introduced to world after transmigation was very down to earth. He had a great foresight and business ability.... more>> I'm impressed. ML had little bit presence after 1st half of story though but MC & ML compliment each other.༼⁠ ⁠つ⁠ ⁠◕⁠‿⁠◕⁠ ⁠༽⁠つ

The villain or should I cannon fodder was very bad and got there their bad ending without any direct internation from MC. And people who are good got good to the core. More like karma.୧⁠ (⁠＾⁠ ⁠〰⁠ ⁠＾⁠) ⁠୨

The novel was really disappointing. I am nearing the end and nowhere have the MC and ML expressed their love to each other. Unless the site I'm MTLing is so bad, then I honestly haven't read the words I love you for any of the couples to be honest. It's only mentioned once by the uncle of the third ml, that his nephew fell in love...

And then we have all the "deus ex machina" easiness of making things, of making money, of having an unlimited flow of things from the... more>> store. So many plot holes, and the author has the MC on one hand having issues with how things are done in the parallel ancient world, and on the other being completely at ease. It's like he has the MC just going through the motions.

On the other hand the author does provide good excuses about changing the environments.

Also, characters are introduced and then forgotten.

It's not bad, if the author had someone to check the details, add some spiciness here and there (not with the cliche family issues) it would have been great. <<less

An unusual genre from Ye Yiluo which doesn't have cultivation or power scale.

But honestly I love it, because at the time I read this novel, I was moving to a new life in my hometown and it kind struck me with, what if I got a husband and living a simple but fulfiling life.

But anyway, this is just a transmigration and business making stuff, read if you want it too.
