Loved this story!

If you like lighthearted bl stories then this one is for you.

It's a double rebirth story so both ML and MC know what happened in the past although they treat it as a dream also no manic obsession on revenge and excessive face slapping.

The novel mostly focuses on them and plot buildingiis minimal but its super fluffy. It's short so you can read it in one go.

I have read it all to the end even he extra and en ought it was a good story I was still disappointed with the ending as with many of these novels. I mean I get that it's about our MC and ML but he didn't have to do he child that in the end. It was disappointing to see just how much he played the kid. So I enenjoyed it until the end where my mood got so low where it felt like I was reading an angst novel.... more>> Disappointing parents. But that's just probably me. Overall everything else was okay. I liked that they got revenge and satisfied that part and all just the ending with the child was annoying and makes me question how could a father even compete with their child for affection and wonder what's wrong with many of these father ML in novels to treat he children like that. I mean I know he loves him but gosh man and his relationship with his brother. Poor thing. It's not s bad as I make everything out to be though. Very fun read.

Give this a try! It's a good one and it's completely translated!

There is fluff, there is sweetness and there is lots of feel good revenge against the scums.

The translator has done a fabulous job, and her notes are also very helpful!

Since both MC and ML have reincarnated they are dedicated to each other and there is no major misunderstandings. They just both know what they want, and spoil each other rotten. They are both each other's salvation on a way.

This is all fluff. There wasn't much character development, the story was pretty straightforward too. But the way the writer told the story was really nice. It's very chill. The translator too, did a good job. One of best translations I've read.

Normally, I hate it when there are no character developments in the story. But I really like them as they are. The characters are so real, even their pettiness and how their character is set on stone, and can't be changed, was awesome.

It was so funny when the ML wanted to see the MC angry. He touched the MC's bottom line when he pretended to not be able to speak and hear due to shock. The MC was so mad he kicked out the ML and refused to talk to him and made him sleep on chairs instead of the bed. It was so funny because it was totally the ML's fault. Then the ML realized that he likes the docile MC more because he would suffer so much if the MC gets mad again. Lol.

Chic story! I fell in love!

Only the reader is very uncomfortable. The fact is that I am not a native speaker and I read novels using the Google Chrome auto-translation. But he does not translate the. Doc and. Pdf, and as a result each time he has to manually drive the chapters into pieces.

As a result, the more you like the work, the more difficult it is to break away from reading excitedly at new copies and pastes.

It’s good. Feels a bit like a bl Eight Treasures Trousseau, where the romance is mingled in with the court intrigue. (Only ML is obsessed with MC from the start. And for a real reason.)

this felt like exactly the right amount of fluffy and weighty. ML is respectful and pampers the crap out of the MC. And the story felt satisfying because there was enough plot. Still, I guess I agree with the reviewer who said they felt a bit empty, like it wasn’t satisfying enough. As far as... more>> bl goes there’s a lot of crap, (not as much as the b/g crap but still...) and this is not one of them but I do admit I wanted a bit more of something I can’t exactly define. Maybe because the ml’s insecurity never really went away and the MC never seemed to treat him quite as sincerely as he was treated? An epilogue really could’ve helped that.

Speaking of, the ending felt slightly abrupt. I wish there was an epilogue set like 15 years in the future, with the son grown up and ready to become a leader, the brothers all close again, and ml/MC still deeply in love and ready to set off on their trip. Mostly I wanted to see far in the future where the ML no longer fears losing MC.

But that’s icing I suppose.

A very satisfactory read. I find this couple the cutest and most adorable in the novels I've read. Also has a very unique setting and is exceptionally well written and translated. There's everything - Humor, Passion, Love, Revenge. It's perfect.

I read this novel after read two heavy angst with HE. Not bad. Uplifted my mood. Good plot and characters. Tbh, I don't care if the characters attitude are cliche as long as it has a good plot and HE, it's good for me.

When I first saw this novel and found out how it had better rating that 'The general loves to collect little red flowers' I really didn't believe it.

Because the description was not that appealing. However I still gave it a shot just to see why this story had better ratings.

Started at 9am and now it's already 00.41am the next day.

... more>> This story was soo good that I spent the whole day reading this book and couldn't let go till I finished it.

Not only this story is funny and fluffy it has good world building and the ancient setting was very well portrayed. Loved it. ❤️❤️❤️ And the heartwarming interactions between the two leads made my day.

the translation was so well done and the humour is perfectly preserved by the translator. A very good read <<less

I tried.

This is probably one of my first historical novel that I read without really getting annoyed much.I don't like historical ones like really I hate them. Too much ridiculous plot and conflict, ridiculous changes of intimacy between the ML and MC like really I'm done with these plot holes then there will be a freakin twist blablabla.

This one is different tho.I'd say I really didn't hated this one nor liked it but still I got shocked on how many chapters I read because when I read historical I... more>> expect to quit from the 1st chapter. This one is not boring and the ML and MC s*xual activity are all consensual.

I liked how they interacts and treat each other.I still don't like how the MC keep calling ML his majesty whatever maybe this is one factor why I hated historical because I mean like you guys are married and you call each other as if you are an acquaintance and stop with the goddamned hierarchy it gets on the nerve.

Still I didn't last long and quit but I must say it was really interesting but meh I still can't handle historical and hated them so haha.

After I read 33, I gave up I really can't with historical, so I jumped through the end then quit. Sigh I don't even understand why people enjoy BL historical novels.... <<less

A balance of revenge and sweet love story. The plot is alright.

But the ML is just to OP (except his berserk mode which can be controlled by MC), basically nothing can happen to him and he protect the MC well. So, sometimes it become dull as the MC almost do nothing aside being ML tranquilizer and baby bearer.

However it still an enjoyable story, with many politic here and there.

This was sooo good.

I feel people found it unrealistic that Song Song had everything go his way. It was mostly with little to no problems in the plot. I think, it's fair. He had such a bad previous ending in life, so I loved that the ML dotes on him and tries to spoil him. It's like all the angst was at the very beginning before rebirth and all the sweetness and dog food was the story left for us ?

It was too cute!!! Would definitively recommend reading this when... more>> you wanna feel happy, and feel like getting revenge on all the bad people in life. <<less

An overall wonderful read!!

The MC and ML mesh together well. The MC is not a pushover and the ML is not too overbearing. If you like doting ML, this one's good. The MC and ML unco ditionally support each other.

It's simply a very fulfilling read to read a harmonious relationship. And also the revenge aspect was okay, not too dramatic. The risk never really felt high. This had the potential for more drama and angst, but it didnt dwell on the past too much. Rather, the entirety of the story... more>> felt optimistic? As long as the MC and ML stood side by side, they were invincible. <<less

Very good read. Beautiful translation.

This novel is what you call just right. Not too much but not too little of comedy, fluff, intrigue and sadness too. You will feel all the emotions while reading this and also feel gratified for the MCs by the end of the novel. Also even though chapters are less and I was able to drill through this over a weekend it left a satisfactory impression.

An absolute delight in my opinions...

First, I appreciate the translator effort on this. They are using Google Doc which is no issue for me. I just want to relay my big thanks to them.

I read lots of rebirth and found this as one of those gems.

... more>> The relationship development is quite fast but considering both of ML and MC is rebirth so it is acceptable.

There's a lot of injustice been done to both of them in their previous life but the killing of their son is the trigger of the MC rebirth. He swore of revenge for his son and when he's rebirth, he want to make that child again.

In his new life, MC desperate wish is to have the little prince again.

It cute when MC believes that they successfuly made the little prince in their first try just like in their past life so, MC strongly reject ML wish to be together after that but when he was told there is no baby yet and wish to be together with ML. Now, it's ML turn to play with him.

ML who is a mad prince whose fears by many is actually a softies when he's with MC.

They do not just focus on revenge but also enjoying each others love and building relationships.

The story is not fast paced so it actually an enjoyable read.

I am curious to know if they will confess of each others rebirth or not, so far as I read, they relay past experiences as dreams.

I am not far onto the story yet but so far it got me hooked.

A good story about double rebirth. MC and ML's interactions are somewhat cute. However, everything is common and predictable. And what disappointed me is the ML. Sometimes, ML's actions are really unreasonable.

He kept threatening the MC to do the pregnant MC. I don't know if he was joking or not but to joke about the life of his son and MC, I'm utterly very disappointed. The ML also keeps saying he loves the MC not as a subject but most of his actions fail to do so. He's still a domineering tyrant. And when the MC just gave birth, ML made the MC worried. He didn't even think about what may happen if MC worried too much. He's such a bastard.

Still this one is good. Especially the ending. I like the idea that MC and ML did on his enemy. Because of rebirth, some of those villain really didn't harm them so the ML made an "alternative plan"

This was good. Nice translation and lovely plot. I love MC and ML character development. I love their progress of love for each other.

I only hate the ML's Father. WTF how can you let her slide.

I pity the child. Neglected and having grow up faster due to his mentally insane and jealous father. Yikes. They should have not a child if that is how they raise him.

It is a typical story of a rebirth which mostly the premise has a common plot as other rebirth novels do. However, it does not lessen the joy feeling when reading it. If you quite like reading stories which have fluffiness, then it is worth your time to shelve this novel. The translator did really a good job translating this, which makes you able to follow the flow of the story smoothly. To put it simply, I love this novel.

This is a really great, fluffy read. It has everything you need from some face smacking to fluffy moments with the MC and ML.

Not only that, but the characters actually TALK to each other. And the ML while a bit possesive is not a rapist/manipulative bastard. There isn't much suspense but the novel is perfect for relaxation. Another bonus is the fact that there are no loose ends by the end of the story! Everything closed, each thing was explained, it is basically a breakthrough for chinese novels.

The only downside?... more>> There were a few similar names and once or twice I was confused who was who.

The translator did a great job as well. <<less
